Chapter 1568: Part 2: White Envoy vs Dark Envoy

From MC’s Perspective:

I’m watching the outside scenes in the control mirror. Right now, many people have appeared at the back of the mountain.

It’s undoubtedly related to me. The Merchant Association doesn’t know that I have killed them. They are searching it because of the Dark Envoy.

I didn’t expect the Dark Envoy to cause a problem. My mission was to reduce the strength of the Dark Faction.

If both the Merchant Association and the White Faction attack the Dark Envoy, it’s a good outcome for me.

Outside,

A few elders are searching the back of the mountain. Because there is an unknown route which leads to the outside from the city to the exit from the mountain range.

Apart from the locals no outsiders knew about it. The elder suspect that someone must have leaked this routine.

The dark wizards could have used this path to come. Because they do strict screening outside. If there are dark wizards from the dark faction, they would have known.

Even the Purple haired elder and others were confused. Though their families connected to the Dark Faction.

They still don’t know about this matter. The dark faction didn’t tell them about it. Otherwise, they would have kept the whereabouts of the dark wizards.

Now they don’t know how they entered and who killed them. The Dark Envoy won’t let go of this matter.

More importantly, the Dark Faction would demand answers from them.

The Purple Haired Elder suspects Head Marcel. It could be his work. Head Marcel long since wanted to eliminate them.

So he thinks Head Marcel is one of the suspects. But he couldn’t bring himself to question Head Marcel.

Not only him, the other elders started to have this idea. Because no one else has guts to touch the dark faction wizards.

Head Marcel successfully contacted the Medicine Association and Mercenary Association. After learning that both White and Dark Faction had sent their Envoy, they were shocked.

Both the Associations are thinking that they could be next. They immediately decided to send help. Since both the Faction Envoys are Magic Lords.

They are sending the Magic Lords as well. But until then Head Marcel has to hold on. Head Marcel was thankful to them.

After ending the call with them, he began to wait. Even if Dark Envoy forces himself to enter, then he would face him.

The skies were filled with the loud booming sound. It has been going on for more than one hour. The Female Magic Lord was clear in her intentions.

She wants to drive away the Dark Envoy from this place. So that higher ups can have time to think about the next plan.

Dark Envoy was frustrated. It’s not a life or death duel. If something happens to either of them, then the fight between the two factions could be intensified.

“Harumph,” Dark Envoy gave a cold snort.

He then flies back to his Dark Airship. Seeing that her eyes flickered with relief. She then returns to her White Airship as well.

Everyone saw two of them return to their airships. Instead of relief, they were more scared now. If they started to fight here, despite the outcome. Everyone will suffer.

Head Marcel noticed them as well. But he didn’t know what went between them. He needs time. Help is on the way here.

He was sure that the Medicine and Mercenary Association’s help would come here soon. He had to hold on until then.

On the other hand, the elders are searching everywhere. But they failed to find a single clue. They didn’t know from which path the dark wizards had entered. Let alone who killed them.

Head Marcel knows what the elders are doing. He didn’t kill those Dark Wizards. He was hearing from the mouth of the Dark Wizards for the first time.

So he suspects the elders connected to the White faction.

Meanwhile,

The Female Magic Lord is on call with the higher ups. She is briefing what happened so far with them.

On the other hand, the Dark Envoy is doing the same. The White Faction is hindering him from doing his job. Otherwise, he would have destroyed the magic formations already.

Now, the higher ups have to think whether they were ready to use the favor of the Fate Wizard. The favour is not something you can get easily.

It could decide the fate of their faction. Initially, they wanted to deter the Head Marcel with threats. But that seemed to fail as well.

But the White Faction have spoiled their plans once again. Dark Envoy thinks that Head Marcel might have called for help during their fight.

Dark Envoy’s face changes. Both are neutral factions. They will definitely support the Merchant Association. The White Envoy was here as well.
