Gravity Mage with Level-Up System

True Elements Society:

Aaron Perry and Milo decided to kill Vincent Carey and then escape from the place. But they don’t know yet that things won’t be that easy.

On the other hand, Elder Stella had two visitors in her office: Elder Paul Lin from the Special Mage Department and Elder Ross from the Law and Order Department.

Both of them are council elders as well. Elder Ross appears to be an old man in his sixties, but he is a lot older than Stella and Paul Lin.

He was in this organization even before they were born, so his loyalty to the True Elements Society is not questionable.

Right now, they are seated opposite Elder Stella.

Elder Stella made sure that the magic formations were active. She doesn’t want anyone to hear them.

“Elder Stella, are you sure?” Ross asked.

“Elder Ross, he is here. I think he is meeting with Council Elder Milo,” Stella said.

Someone from the Beast Bloodline Department sent a message to the Intelligence Tower. Both of them were seen together.

“We should not let him slip away. If he returns to the Perry Family, then he will be under the protection of the Magic Lord,” Paul Lin said in a cold tone.

“Don’t worry, I have requested help from the Guardians. They are ready to capture him as well,” Stella said.

Hearing that, Ross’s eyes flickered. He didn’t expect the Guardians to help as well. Then he could be at ease.

He then asked, “Are you saying that their goal is Vincent Carey?”

Stella nodded her head.

“How is that possible?”

“I know that kid and the Perry Family have grievances. But why do they want to take action inside the organization?”

“It’s like the final act before burning bridges that someone does,” Ross voiced his concern.

“Elder Ross, I think the Aristocratic Families want to start by removing Vincent Carey. This would definitely piss off the Head,” Paul Lin said from the side.

“We can think about their motives later. Right now, if they attack Vincent Carey inside the organization, we should catch them right away,” Stella said.

“Alright, I’ll help. Let’s hope that Head Howard won’t be angry with us,” Ross muttered.

“Once the Guardians are here, we can start our plan,” Paul Lin said.

“I know Vincent Carey is staying in the Special Mage Department. If he doesn’t come outside, then those two won’t have the opportunity to take action,” Stella said.

“What?”

“You want him to take the risk,” Paul Lin asked in disbelief.

Stella nodded her head even though she understood the risk in her plan.

“Let’s listen to the girl. If they don’t see a target, how can they attack? We will be there to protect Vincent Carey, so don’t worry,” Ross said.

Paul Lin accepted after great difficulty.

Time passed.

It’s nighttime. Aaron Perry and Milo are near the dorm building where Vincent Carey stays. They have not seen that kid appear for a long time.

“What happened?”

“Did he escape again?” Aaron Perry asked with disappointment.

Milo’s face changed.

“I don’t know what happened, but his room was destroyed. Maybe he is sharing rooms with his friends,” Milo replied.

Aaron Perry frowned. As far as he knows, that kid doesn’t have friends. He was a loner.

Aaron suddenly felt something fishy.

He is recalling Vincent Carey’s various activities. He thinks if that kid finds out about the dorm building, he might know that people are targeting him inside the campus.

Milo remained silent, but his heart was racing because the lord had given him one day. It will be over at midnight.

Yet he couldn’t see Vincent Carey’s figure. He decides to call the students he had met with earlier. It didn’t take long for his department elders to contact them.

He heard from the other elder that Vincent Carey was not here. No one had seen him last night.

Aaron Perry noticed Milo’s change in expression.

He asked, “What is it?”

“That kid is not here,” Milo replied.

“What do you mean he is not here?”

“Did you forget that if we don’t kill him, we will die?” Aaron Perry asked.

“We still have a chance. He will definitely come for dinner,” Milo said.

Hearing that, Aaron Perry frowned but nodded his head.

Meanwhile,

Elder Stella, Elder Paul Lin, and Elder Ross are gathered in one of the forbidden areas in the True Elements Society.

In front of them was a shadowy figure. The shadowy figure was one of the Guardians. The figure received a message from someone who is observing Aaron Perry and Milo.

“Sure, they must have come for Vincent Carey,” Elder Paul Lin said in a cold tone.

Elder Stella’s expression grew serious.

“I didn’t expect him to rope in another Council Elder,” Stella said with disappointment.

“Traitors. We have so many traitors inside. No wonder we are being pressured by the Aristocratic Families,” Elder Ross said with anger.

He thinks when the True Elements Society started accepting the Aristocratic Families’ contributions, their interests all had been corroded.

Now, these Aristocratic Families want to take over the organization.

“Alright, it’s time for Vincent Carey to go out,” Stella said to Paul Lin.

“What am I going to say?” Paul Lin uttered.

“Tell him to come and meet us at his dorm building,” Stella said.

“Alright,” Paul Lin replied.

Perry Family Estate:

Rhys Perry’s eyes were bloodshot. The two idiots never replied to him. He had given them so many chances, yet they were testing his patience.

There are only a few hours left before midnight. With that, his two days will be over. Then his father will disclose his son’s demise.

Then there are chances for the True Elements Society to protect that kid from harm. Various possibilities are playing in his mind.

The black token is important to him. He doesn’t want that kid to have it.

He immediately leaves the estate and starts moving toward the Main City. He is thinking of going inside the campus like last time.
