Chapter 1203 Part 2: Head Howard's task
Beast Bloodline Department:
“Damn it, what is he doing?” Charon Perry shouted out loud.
A department wizard is kneeling in front of him. Just now, he briefed the report regarding their stalking. They found that Vincent Carey is not going anywhere.
He has been going to the Special Mage Department for classes and spends most of the time in the dorm building.
“You can leave,” Charon said.
When the wizard left the place, Charon’s eyes flashed with gloominess. Some time ago, the Anderson Family contacted the Perry Family.
He doesn’t know what happened. But their two families ended up reaching some kind of cooperation. The Anderson Family wants to find the wizard who exposed their truth.
At the same time, the Perry Family has decided to eliminate all the possible threats. Because of it, he has been silently killing the potential wizards who refused to join the Aristocratic Faction.
But there was one person who was escaping from all of their plans. The person is none other than Vincent Carey. He had ordered people to keep an eye on him.
If Vincent Carey does go out, then he will send a level-8 wizard to kill him. But nothing like that is happening. Because of it, his mood is getting worse.
“To think I couldn’t solve this nobody,” Charon sighed.
He had thought about capturing Vincent Carey’s friends and then forcing him out. But that bastard turned out to be a loner. He doesn’t have friends at all.
“I think our actions have cautioned him already. That’s why he is not making friends or connections. Almost everyone in the organization is aware that Vincent Carey has offended Aristocratic Families,” Charon said to himself.
Tud!
Suddenly, someone walked into the room. The person is none other than his sister, Leona Perry.
“Leona, what brings you here?” Charon asked.
“It’s nothing, I just came here to see you,” Leona replied.
“See me…,” Charon smiled.
He then asked, “Did you find the identity of the wizard?”
Leona sat on the sofa. She folded her hands and looked at him, “I asked people in the Intelligence Tower to look into it.”
“But it seems like they don’t have any idea about it. Even their elders don’t know such a thing took place,” she added.
“Impossible!”
“Someone from the Intelligence Tower must have done the job,” Charon said in a serious tone.
“Brother, I think some third party might be involved. They must have sold information to Head Howard,” Leona said.
Charon’s eyes flickered.
“Do you think so?” he asked.
“We have a list of all the elders in our organization. We know their strengths and weaknesses. They don’t have the strength to escape under the eyes of Anderson Family wizards,” Leona said.
Charon frowned. He thought of something important.
“I heard from Father that Head Howard gave some evidence which involves the confession of an Anderson Family wizard,” Charon said.
Boom!
“Brother, what are you doing?” Leona’s expression changed drastically. She released a bit of coercion on him.
Charon felt the coercion. The next second, he realized some words came out because of a slip of the tongue.

“I apologize,” he said with embarrassment.
Leona dismissed the coercion.
“Brother, walls have ears. Don’t say it openly here,” Leona said.
“My bad. It’s been a difficult day for me since this morning. Nothing is working out. I couldn’t even kill the newcomer,” Charon admitted.
“Newcomer,” Leona muttered.
Then she thought about Vincent Carey because Charon only pays attention to Vincent Carey in his 1st year.
“Brother, he will die sooner or later. Why are you stressing out?” she asked.
“No family has given me the task to remove potential wizards. It’s best to kill Vincent Carey sooner,” Charon said.
Leona sighed. She knows that Charon won’t give up. If she wanted, she could kill Vincent Carey. But her actions would offend proud Charon.
Then she started discussing something else.
…
From MC’s Perspective:
One hour before the evening time, Elder Paul contacted me. He asked me to come again. He has picked some life-saving items for me.
About 15 minutes later,
I arrived at his cabin. I saw many magic items placed on his desk. Some of them were in different sizes and shapes.
“Elder, what are these?” I asked while sitting on the chair.
“Some of them are magic artifacts. I don’t know which one will be useful. You can pick any of them,” Paul Lin said.
A wry smile appeared on my face.
I couldn’t help but recall the face of the 11th Elder who used weird magic to track me down. I don’t think the magic artifacts will be useful against such people.
“Elder, I don’t want these. But do you have anything to protect me from weird magic?” I asked.
“Weird Magic,” Paul Lin uttered.
He then thought of something before taking out a magic fruit from his storage bracelet.
“This fruit is famous among wandering wizards. It can help wizards disguise their figure. It also releases fragrance upon consumption, which confuses the minds of hostile wizards,” Paul Lin said.
Hearing that, I decided to take this fruit. Then I received the fruit from him and stored it inside the storage bracelet.
“Let’s go to the unauthorized area. The Head is waiting for us,” Paul Lin said.
Then we both exited the Special Mage Department. He grabbed my shoulder and took me to the unauthorized area.
Shortly afterwards,
I found myself in the middle of the airfield. There is a large aircraft in front of me. The next second, a middle-aged man walked out of the aircraft.
The person is none other than Head Howard.
Head Howard saw Paul Lin. His gaze next fell on Vincent Carey.
“Vincent Carey, you are an amazing young wizard. The Mage Union is lucky to find you. I hope you will graduate from this place soon and then join the Mage Union,” Howard said with a smile.
“Head, you are over-praising me,” I replied.
“No, you are better than the wizards who are born and brought up here. You have already helped us find the fire mana vein. Next, you gave the evidence.”
“Which helped me greatly,” Howard said.
