The Recess ended quickly. The four suspects returned and took their seats.

Tang Qing came to the speaking platform to present the next piece of evidence.

This time, however, he was holding a thick document folder, and it was clearly visible that the folder contained at least several substantial bundles of documents.

"'Entrustment Party Asset Verification Materials': the entrustment party here is the wife. This section clearly itemises her assets, including certified copies of real property ownership certificates, her personal bank statements from the past year, and securities account asset statements.

"These documents clearly show that the wife owned a property valued at fifteen million, and that her pre-tax income over the past year reached a seven-figure level.

"I believe this material sufficiently demonstrates the wife's personal financial standing.

"The 'Certificate of Inheritance Notarisation' and related materials establish that the wife's parents are deceased, and that her property and primary assets derive from their estate.

"The 'General Power of Attorney' authorises the husband, and a law firm designated by the husband, to manage and dispose of all assets listed above in full, including but not limited to sale, mortgage, pledge, and the establishment of security interests.

"The document also includes a risk clause: that any investment losses are borne voluntarily by the entrustment party."

Tang Qing continued removing document after document from the thick folder, introducing each in turn.

Although the overview was concise, a silence settled over the room. Many people's expressions showed clear disbelief.

When he had finished, Tang Qing tapped the documents on the table to align them.

"I imagine this document has surprised everyone here. I was equally surprised.

"The Evidence Room contained an enormous number of items, and a document like this doesn't stand out. Finding it in the limited time available was genuinely difficult.

"Fortunately, it is treated as a single piece of evidence, which allowed me to retrieve everything at once.

Tang Qing crossed to the speaking platform, handed all the documents to Lin Sizhi, and then turned and returned to his seat.

The room first fell quiet, then gradually grew louder again.

As the wait stretched on, jury members began murmuring to one another. The low hum of voices in turn heightened the tension and prompted more discussion.

Wang Yongxin spoke in a friendly tone, "Well, Doctor Feng? Have you noticed anything?

"Or is this perhaps an uncommon medication, making it difficult to identify at first glance?"

Feng Yuguang's expression shifted several times, but he eventually said, with some reluctance, "This is an imported overseas version of diazepam, what is commonly known as Valium. But the tablets inside do not appear to be diazepam.

"Because their shape doesn't match what diazepam tablets typically look like.

Wang Yongxin nodded, "Thank you for your professional assessment, Doctor Feng. In that case, shall we ask the esteemed members of the jury to verify the specific details of this medication?"

The verification result came through shortly.

Wang Yongxin nodded, "Thank you for the thorough explanation, Doctor Feng.

"I have one more question. Is there a noticeable difference between the tablets of these two medications? If the contents were substituted, would someone taking them realise?"

Feng Yuguang was quiet for a moment, "The tablets themselves are, to a professional eye, quite distinguishable.

"Diazepam tablets are generally flat, while olanzapine tablets tend to be convex.

"However, both are white, and the size difference is not particularly significant."

Wang Yongxin nodded and continued, "In other words, if a patient had never taken genuine diazepam before and received this bottle, they would have no way of knowing that the tablets inside were actually olanzapine."

Feng Yuguang gave a reluctant nod, "That's correct."

Wang Yongxin turned and returned to his seat, "Thank you. I have no further questions."

Tang Qing rose and came to the speaking platform, "Lawyer Lin, how are you getting on with those documents? Do they look familiar?

"Your name doesn't appear on them. But anyone with a clear eye can see that a man like the husband could never have produced these on his own. A professional must have helped him.

"Could that professional have been you?
