The cultists also realized the critical nature of the situation, they went all out, pouring every last drop of their Evil God’s power into the formation core.

Finally, amid a deafening boom, the formation core was completely destroyed, the surrounding runes vanished without a trace.

"We did it." Bruce shouted excitedly.

And right at that moment, in the extraterritorial space outside Heaven-Sealing Pass, black clouds pressed down on the city, the Evil God’s army surged forward like a tidal wave, the entire space was enveloped in an oppressive atmosphere of evil.

On the walls, defending soldiers revealed looks of horror, one by one, they donned armor, picked up weapons, and stood in grim readiness, the city walls were brightly lit by firelight, and wailing alarms rose and fell, echoing to the heavens.

"Full alert, the Evil God’s army is attacking!" a majestic general clad in silver armor shouted, his voice spread through the entire pass via a voice-transmission formation, igniting a raging will to fight in every soldier’s heart.

"We will defend Heaven-Sealing Pass to the death! We will absolutely not let these evil abominations take a single step inside!" the soldiers roared in unison, voices full of determination and fearlessness.

Meanwhile, Bruce and his cultists were surrounded by soldiers who had rushed over.

Seeing it was Bruce and the others, the soldiers’ eyes revealed surprise, but overwhelmingly more indifference and coldness, they had done their absolute best to protect them, yet they had betrayed Heaven-Sealing Pass, not to mention, among them was actually Adam’s disciple.

"We cannot just wait to be captured!" Bruce gnashed his teeth, eyes shooting out scarlet light, "Everyone, attack!"

The cultists roared in fury, they knew they had no way out, only by fighting to the death could they carve out a sliver of a chance for survival, they immediately became locked in a chaotic melee with the soldiers.

Adam arrived outside Heaven-Sealing Pass, looking at the Evil God’s army that covered the entire extraterritorial space.

He wasn’t particularly surprised, but he found it strange, where was the Heavenly Court? Did they not deploy their troops? Did the two sides not coordinate? Now that the World Barrier was gone, was the Heavenly Court not going to seize this opportunity to attack?

"Every single one of them is incredibly ugly," Adam shook his head.

The first things to catch his eye were massive lumps of rotting flesh standing at the very front, their gigantic bodies were pieced together from countless rotting corpses, beneath their skin were squirming maggots and oozing pus, and every breath they took was accompanied by a foul stench, they were massive in size, their eyes like two rotting fruits embedded in maggot-filled sockets, gleaming with hunger and madness.

Based on Adam’s experience from his past life, these were definitely meat shields meant to hold the front line.

Even more terrifying were the humanoid monsters behind them, their bodies were twisted and deformed, flesh covered in densely packed eyes that were constantly darting around, radiating an ominous aura.

Behind these eyeball monsters were huge clumps of disgusting liquid creatures, their bodies were made entirely of viscous liquid, and their mucus-like heads were covered in flexible tentacles.

Adam raised an eyebrow, a classic tentacle monster.

Aside from these, there were others that had grown sharp bone spikes from beneath their skin, looking like walking porcupines, every step accompanied by the pain of piercing their own flesh.

However, what really caught Adam’s attention were the numerous, horrifyingly designed nests behind these monsters, they looked like gigantic, constantly squirming balls of meat, their surfaces covered with densely packed holes from which all sorts of bizarrely shaped larvae and bugs continuously crawled out.

Some possessed sharp teeth and claws capable of instantly tearing prey apart, others could spew highly corrosive acid that melted any obstacle in their path.

Adam instantly understood, these fleshy balls were the Evil God’s mobile fortresses and the primary targets to strike.

In the deepest part of the army stood several black shadows condensed from pure evil, their forms were tall and twisted, skin like parched earth covered in cracks and pustules, their eyes were like two bottomless abysses, capable of devouring soul and reason.

These shadows were surrounded by twisted shadows and lightning, every swing of their weapons was accompanied by a thunderous boom and spatial distortion, as if the laws of the universe trembled before them.

Adam felt a familiar aura from those shadows, Sons of the Evil God, possessing the exact same aura as the one he had killed before.

His gaze was indifferent, he didn’t take these shadows seriously at all, in the past, he might have been wary, but now he had only one target: the Evil God’s true body.

"Formation, rise!" He roared, and a massive formation lit up beneath the entirety of Heaven-Sealing Pass, its complex runes radiated tremendous power, not only protecting the pass but amplifying the soldiers’ strength.

He had originally planned to find a way to the Evil God’s world, but since the Evil God couldn’t hold back and came knocking, he wouldn’t hold back either.

Suddenly, one of the dark shadows stepped forward, it spoke with a hoarse voice, "Surrender, and you will not be killed!"

Right after it finished speaking, a massive wave of evil qi erupted from inside Heaven-Sealing Pass.

Adam glanced back, he saw several dark silhouettes appearing inside the pass.

"This time, you have no way to escape," the shadow said again.

Hearing this, the corners of Adam’s mouth curled into a cold sneer, a smile containing both disdain and absolute resolve.

He ignored the threat, his inner will grew even firmer, his hands rapidly formed seals, dazzling light dancing at his fingertips, reflecting and intertwining with the formation beneath his feet, as if heaven and earth were responding to his call.

"Mere Sons of the Evil God, yet you dare spout such arrogant nonsense here, today shall be the day of your destruction!" Adam’s voice was frigid and resolute, it pierced through the evil qi and smoke permeating the battlefield, transmitting clearly into every soldier’s ears, igniting fighting spirit and unyielding will in their hearts.

As his words fell, the formation beneath Heaven-Sealing Pass erupted with brilliant light, countless runes swam through the air like living creatures, weaving into a massive net of light that firmly protected the entire pass.

At the same time, surges of boundless power gushed out from the formation and poured into every soldier, causing their strength to instantly skyrocket and their morale to soar like a rainbow.
