Corin looked at Bruce’s resolute eyes, his face still plastered with a sneer.

"Corin, I’m giving you one chance, go to my Master voluntarily and confess your true identity," Bruce said coldly.

"Hahaha, still daydreaming? This world will belong to the Evil God sooner or later," Corin burst into loud laughter.

"Since you refuse to repent, don’t blame me for being merciless," Bruce charged at Corin, condensing Dao light in his hand and smashing it toward him.

Corin’s figure blurred, dodging the attack.

"Then let me show you the true power of the Evil God," Corin mocked, black cursed runes surfaced on his skin.

As the runes appeared, the air in the chamber seemed to solidify, an invisible pressure weighed down so heavily that Bruce could barely breathe, he could feel the evil power radiating from Corin rapidly expanding.

Is this the power of the Evil God? Bruce gritted his teeth, forcing himself to stay calm, what followed would be a battle of life and death.

Grinning hideously, Corin formed hand seals, the black runes swirled around him, forming a massive black vortex, he slashed his hand forward, and several streaks of black sword qi flew out, piercing straight toward Bruce.

Not daring to be careless, Bruce gathered his power, forming layers of light barriers before him.

The black sword qi crashed against the barriers with deafening booms, they trembled violently but ultimately held.

"You’ve got some skill," Corin sneered and formed seals again.

The vortex grew more violent, an even stronger force surged from within, Bruce felt an intense oppressive weight, he knew this attack would not be like the last.

He took a deep breath, concentrating every ounce of strength into his hands, a dazzling brilliance erupted from his palms, coalescing into a massive sword of light.

He swung the blade fiercely, the sword of light collided with the vortex, unleashing an earth-shattering explosion, the entire cell trembled as the black vortex began to collapse under the impact.

Corin did not give up, a glint of madness flashed in his eyes as his hands formed even more complex seals.

"Descent of the Evil God!" Corin roared, a black silhouette charged out from the vortex.

It was a tall, hideous phantom exuding intense malevolent aura, it opened its blood-red maw and let out a deafening roar at Bruce.

Bruce’s heart jumped, but he did not back down, gripping his light sword, he charged at the phantom, but he soon realized Corin’s strength had increased significantly, and he gradually fell to a disadvantage.

Corin’s figure looked exceptionally eerie in the night, surrounded by thick darkness, black runes crawling across his skin with an evil glint, his gaze was sharp as a falcon’s, locked onto Bruce as if wanting to swallow him alive.

Although Bruce was brimming with fighting spirit, facing such power, he felt his strength falling short, he gripped his dimming sword, pointing it at Corin, trying to look less wretched.

"Bruce, your struggles are futile," Corin mocked, "The Evil God’s power is beyond your imagination, it’s not too late to surrender."

Bruce didn’t speak, he took a deep breath, gathering all his power onto the tip of his sword, this was his last chance, he had to give it his all.

The battle erupted instantly, moving like lightning, Bruce thrust his sword at Corin, but Corin waved his hand, and a black barrier blocked the attack.

Immediately after, Corin counterattacked, his figure blurred, appearing behind Bruce, striking a palm toward his back, though Bruce turned to defend, he was sent flying by the sheer force, crashing onto the ground, a trickle of blood escaped the corner of his mouth.

The gap was too vast, continuing would be in vain, yet Bruce did not give up, he struggled to his feet and charged again.

This time he was even more battered, every attack was effortlessly neutralized, watching Bruce’s relentless struggling, mockery flashed in Corin’s eyes, he no longer held back, unleashing fiercer attacks.

Bruce floundered under the assault, exhausted just trying to survive, just as he was on the brink of defeat, he felt a mysterious power welling up from within his body, this profound force allowed him to temporarily withstand the onslaught.

But it faded as quickly as it came, Bruce was struck down again, he lay staring at the sky, eyes filled with despair.

Looking at the fallen Bruce, killing intent rose in Corin’s heart, but right then, he felt an intense wave of unease, he looked up to see a rift appear in the sky, accompanied by powerful suction.

"Not good, someone’s coming," Corin’s heart skipped a beat, he couldn’t stay any longer, he glanced at Bruce, hesitation flashing in his eyes, but ultimately turned and fled.

With his departure, that mysterious power surfaced once more, enveloping Bruce, his figure blurred and vanished from the Central District.

Inside the rift, which seemed to connect to another unknown world, a deep and eerie aura emanated, a foot stepped out steadily and powerfully, like a behemoth breaking free from the abyss.

Adam descended like a celestial god, clad in a black robe, his face was stern, a sharp light glinting in his eyes, he surveyed his surroundings, the air was thick with the Evil God’s malevolent, freezing aura, a presence that sent shivers down the spine.

Adam narrowed his eyes and extended his palm, an invisible force gathered in his hand, with a gentle wave, the Evil God’s aura rapidly dissipated without a trace, like morning mist under the sun.

"Evil God, you ultimately couldn’t help but reveal your tail," the corners of Adam’s mouth curled into a mocking arc, his voice was cold and resolute, carrying unquestionable majesty.

Then he disappeared into the rift once more, as if blending into the void.

Back in the prison, Bruce slumped onto the floor, covered in injuries, he struggled to raise his head, looking toward the adjacent cell with eyes full of gratitude and awe.

"Thank you, Senior, if not for you, Master would have discovered me," his voice was weak and trembling, but full of steadfast gratitude.

"No need to thank me, lie down, I will heal your injuries," that seductive voice rang out again, feeling as warm and comforting as a spring breeze.
