God Level Necromancer: My Talent Multiplies All My Gains to 10000x
Chapter 67: "Young master, you are too cruel"
Anastasia was still shaking with excitement. She never thought her mediocre life would change within two hours of appearing here.
When her aunt said she would take her to the Miller family mansion where she worked, Anastasia was very afraid. She knew that her aunt was worried for her, as a player had threatened to kidnap her from her house tonight if she didn’t willingly follow him.
The law of the world was already crumbling apart. Ordinary people like her couldn’t do anything against the mighty players.
And to become a player, you would need money to buy a gaming pod, to level up, to bring them to reality.
But she also knew she would probably be eyed by the young master, as rich people liked to use women like her like tissue and then throw them away.
But now that she was actually standing in front of the man himself, she had nothing but unimaginable respect and indescribable feelings in her heart for this man.
"Please wait, young master. I’ll immediately cook something nice for you. But I would like some ingredients to prepare that," Anastasia said.
"Just give them the list. If the ingredients are not present, the servants will bring them from outside." Arthur nodded.
Anastasia soon wrote a list of ingredients and handed it to Elenore. Elenore gave it a read and nodded.
"We have most of them, except some," she confirmed.
Some servants immediately went outside and bought the required ingredients. Within 30 minutes, everything was ready.
Anastasia went inside the kitchen with a determined look on her face. She slowly took out all the ingredients and started preparing them gently.
15 minutes later, the intense aroma had already started permeating through the air.
All the maids and servants gulped down their saliva.
But it was only the beginning. The smell kept getting better and better, until 40 minutes had passed and drool was coming out of every one of their mouths.
They wanted to rush inside and devour the food even if it was not prepared yet, but they didn’t dare.
They thought that after Arthur finished, they would eat his leftovers.
As Arthur was sitting there, what no one noticed was that he wiped away some of his drool as well.
The speed was just so fast that their brains didn’t register it as movement.
"Damn! What is she cooking?" Even he wanted to rush inside the kitchen.
But he needed to maintain his dignity in front of his subordinates.
20 more minutes passed, and Anastasia finally returned with a bowl and placed it in front of Arthur with great caution.
Then she served a plate of rice and poured the curry over it.
"Young master, please enjoy," she smiled.
Arthur looked at the plate and gulped.
It looked like curry, but the smell was divine. It was like he was eating the divine food found in the land of lost origin inside the genesis realm.
This felt even more enticing.
He took a spoon and scooped some into his mouth.
"Umm!"
He moaned. He actually couldn’t control his emotion. It was like a blast of umami taste had exploded in his mouth.
Boom!
Arthur seemed to went crazy. With immense speed, he finished all the food and poured the rest of the curry over the rice bowl before starting to eat frantically.
Within 50 seconds, he finished the entire thing, and only then did he remember that he was now surrounded by people who were waiting to have a bite as well.
[Ding! You have gained 1 attribute point]
As soon as he finished, a notification appeared in his mind.
Arthur knew the chef had such powers, and that’s why, within a few months, they would open different restaurants and become one of the richest categories of players.
Arthur looked around, and everyone was looking at him like he had killed their sons. They had almost tears gleaming in their eyes, threatening to come out.
Even Sebas had that same look on his face.
"Young master, you are so cruel," Sebas said as the old man started crying. The others couldn’t resist either. They all started crying.
"Ahahaha. Oops! Looks like I lost my control." Arthur had an awkward look on his face. He didn’t know what to say to these overgrown kids.
Even Anastasia didn’t know what to say in this situation. A bunch of grown men and women were crying over food.
"Umm, Anastasia, do you think you can cook for them as well?" Arthur asked.
"Don’t worry, young master. I have cooked enough. There are even more in the kitchen," she said with a smile.
Boom!
As soon as she said that, they all rushed toward the kitchen like their lives depended on it.
Arthur licked his lips. He wanted to eat more. For a second, his evil instinct almost overflowed. He had the urge to run faster than them and finish the leftovers as well.
But he controlled his urge and stood up from the table.
"Anastasia, follow me to the roof," Arthur said in a serious tone as he started walking ahead.
Anastasia became nervous seeing his sudden serious face, but she followed him. Soon, they arrived at the roof, where the cool morning air brushed against their skin with a gentle touch.
After they arrived, Arthur looked at her and spoke.
"Sit down in a cross-legged position."
Anastasia did as she was ordered to do, and Arthur gave her some legendary-grade cores.
He raised his hand, and a reality-warping domain appeared around him.
In front of Anastasia, the cultivation technique appeared.
This time, however, he didn’t need to suppress her potential, as she hadn’t gone through the evolution trial yet.
"Learn it," he ordered.
Anastasia instantly closed her eyes, and within 90 seconds, a core started to form inside her body.
Arthur was surprised. Her cultivation speed was almost equivalent to his own.
"She is a prodigy." Arthur nodded with satisfaction.
5 minutes later, she broke through and opened her eyes.
"I have succeeded, young master. I have awakened a fire elemental core," she smiled very happily.
"Good. Now go down and get ready. We will leave soon," Arthur ordered her.
She stood up and bowed before going down.
...
Meanwhile, the entire Aethelgard leadership was now moving toward the Arvia country.
The government of Arvia said Darklord would join the meeting, and they wanted to meet him.
Besides, now they even knew how powerful those merfolks were. They wanted to hear what Darklord had to say in this.
While most of them were coming here with good intentions, not everyone had the same purpose.
In a private jet, 16 people were sitting and drinking wine.
"Are we really going to go to war against him? Don’t you think we should let the master know this first?"
"Hmph! It is the young master’s order, the heir’s order, to leave without letting anyone know. Do you want to betray the young master? Just stop overthinking."
"Young master is right. We are all level 10 players, force masters, and battle masters. Our basic attributes are several times higher than those of normal people. Darklord is currently holding the strongest rank because he probably got lucky and obtained an epic item," the leader analyzed.
"I hope so. Or else..." One old man didn’t finish the sentence and sighed.
