Arthur turned his gaze toward the right, where the shout had come from. The surrounding players reacted as well, but the entire incident had unfolded far too quickly for anyone to properly process what had happened. For a moment, the entire area fell into stunned silence.

Sam’s three lackeys stared at their master’s devastated body lying on the ground. His eyes remained open, but they were dull and vacant. He was still breathing, though only barely, his chest rising and falling in slow, shallow movements.

"Bastard, how dare you attack Young Master so viciously? Do you have no regard for Aurora University? Do you have no regard for the laws of this country?" they shouted angrily. Yet none of them dared move closer. Their courage came only because someone had finally stepped forward to protect Sam, allowing them to hide behind the university and the law while barking from a safe distance.

Arthur completely ignored them. His attention shifted toward Paul, who was still standing nearby, gripping the dagger tightly in his hand. Arthur’s expression remained completely calm as he spoke, "Why are you still standing there, Fatty? Don’t you want to kill him anymore?"

The moment Paul heard those words, his eyes hardened. He immediately rushed toward Sam, raising the dagger and preparing to drive it down. He had barely taken a few steps when another thunderous roar echoed through the area, shaking the surrounding air.

"Audacious!"

This roar was even louder than the previous one. Arthur turned his head and saw a middle-aged man rushing toward them, accompanied by several others. The moment Sam’s lackeys saw the approaching figure, their expressions immediately brightened as if they had finally found their savior.

It was Professor Haris, one of the strictest professors in Aurora University and the person in charge of the university’s disciplinary committee. He also came from a powerful family and possessed a Platinum-grade foundation, making him a formidable figure even among the university’s professors.

Arthur could clearly sense the strength radiating from him. However, there was not even the slightest change in his expression. To Arthur, the professor’s strength was simply not worth taking seriously.

"Professor, this bastard tried to kill Young Master along with that fatty!" one of Sam’s lackeys immediately shouted. "That fatty was bullying Miss Hania, and Young Master only stepped in to protect her. This bastard then launched a sneak attack and nearly killed Young Master!"

He quickly pointed toward Paul, who was still holding the dagger. "Look, Professor! That fatty has a dagger in his hand. He was about to kill Young Master just now!"

"No, Professor! They’re lying!" Hania immediately stepped forward and denied their accusations. Her voice was firm despite the tension in the air. "Paul didn’t bully me. They were the ones who bullied him and even threatened to destroy his family. This big brother came here only because he wanted to protect Paul."

The expressions of the three lackeys immediately darkened. They clearly hadn’t expected Hania to expose their lies so quickly. However, Professor Haris didn’t even look at them. His gaze remained fixed on Arthur from beginning to end.

"You are Arthur Miller, correct?" Haris asked coldly. "I saw what happened to your family in the video. The military openly took your side, so they must have had their reasons. But don’t think that gives you the right to become invincible or place yourself above the law."

His eyes narrowed slightly. "How dare you attempt to kill someone so openly inside Aurora University?"

Arthur didn’t answer immediately. He simply stared at Haris with an unnervingly calm expression. Then, a faint smile appeared on his face as he finally spoke.

"Hahahaha. The law, you say?" Arthur’s voice remained calm, almost eerily so. "Then where was the law when the Parker family destroyed my brother’s family? Where were you when they were trying to kill him?"

He slowly raised his hand and pointed toward Sam, who was lying motionless on the ground, before pointing toward Paul. "Where was the law when they were threatening his life?"

Arthur’s voice remained perfectly composed as he asked his next question. "And where were Aurora University and its so-called dignity when someone threatened to rape his sister and hang her naked body in public?"

The surrounding students fell completely silent. No one dared interrupt him. Arthur’s words struck directly at the hypocrisy everyone had witnessed but few had dared to acknowledge.

Arthur took a step forward and stopped directly in front of Professor Haris. The two men were nearly the same height, both standing around six feet two inches. Arthur looked directly into Haris’s eyes, his expression carrying no anger, only an unsettling calmness.

"Let me tell you the answer," Arthur said quietly. "It was because of power. The law of this country and the dignity of this university didn’t believe that standing up for someone like Paul, who had already lost everything, was worth making an enemy of a family worth more than one hundred billion dollars."

Haris’s expression stiffened. His gaze slowly lowered. He knew there was nothing he could say to refute Arthur’s accusation. There was no way the university hadn’t heard the commotion or noticed what was happening.

They had simply chosen not to intervene.

They only appeared now because Arthur was about to kill someone openly on university grounds.

"Professor, you hold a respectable position in society," Arthur continued calmly. "But you don’t have the capital to antagonize me, especially when you didn’t dare step forward for Paul when he actually needed help."

His voice remained steady as he looked directly into Haris’s eyes. "Don’t ruin your life and career over this matter. I’ll handle everything with the government. Just step aside. Since this university is a government facility, I won’t disrespect it."

Without waiting for a response, Arthur lowered himself and grabbed Sam by his right ankle. Then, without the slightest hesitation, he began dragging Sam’s limp body toward the university’s exit.

"Follow me."

Arthur glanced back at Paul.

Paul stood frozen for a moment. He was overwhelmed by what he had just witnessed. Even in front of someone as powerful as Professor Haris, Arthur had still stood up for him without hesitation.

Paul quietly followed.

"Stop."

Haris finally spoke.

Arthur stopped walking but didn’t turn around immediately. Haris took a deep breath before speaking in a calmer tone.

"I admit that we overlooked this matter. But Sam is still a student of Aurora University, while you are an outsider. I can’t simply allow an outsider to kill one of our students." Haris paused before continuing, "Fight me. If you win, you can take him. If you lose, you will stop hunting Sam and the Parker family and become a student of this university. How about that?"

Arthur remained still for several seconds.

Then he slowly turned his head.

His eyes landed on Haris.

Boom!

An overwhelming aura of intimidation suddenly descended upon Haris like a tsunami. The air itself seemed to freeze as an invisible pressure crushed down upon him.

Haris’s face instantly turned pale. His body trembled uncontrollably, and a primal terror surged through every fiber of his being. He suddenly vomited and collapsed onto his knees, his eyes rolling upward as pure, unadulterated fear consumed his mind.

Arthur looked down at him without the slightest emotion.

"You are not worthy to fight me."

With those words, Arthur turned around and continued walking as though nothing had happened. He dragged Sam’s unconscious body behind him while Paul silently followed at his side.

After walking some distance away, Arthur pulled out his phone and dialed a number.

The call was answered almost immediately.

"This is Commander Frank. How may I help you, Mr. Miller?" The voice on the other end sounded pleasant and respectful.

Arthur’s expression remained calm.

"I am about to exterminate the Parker family down to the last member of their bloodline," he said slowly. "I want the government to stay out of this matter."

He paused briefly before continuing.

"I am willing to donate five hundred Legendary-grade items to the government for free. Discuss this with your superior and give me your answer."

Arthur’s voice remained calm, but every word carried immense weight.

"However, if you decide to stop me, then all transactions between me and the government will be terminated from this moment onward."

His eyes narrowed slightly.

"And from that moment onward, the government will become an enemy of Darklord."
