God Level Necromancer: My Talent Multiplies All My Gains to 10000x
Chapter 43: Miller Family’s Dominance(2)
Even the people watching the television broadcast could hardly believe what they were seeing. Ten people were standing against an army numbering in the thousands, yet instead of retreating or negotiating, they were calmly arranging themselves for battle.
A senior captain of the Eclipse gang eventually stepped forward. He rested one hand on the grip of a heavy machine gun mounted on a nearby truck and sneered toward the Miller cousins.
"Did you bring the money?" he shouted. "And where is that old bastard Alexander? Tell him to crawl out here and apologize publicly!"
The insult echoed across the plaza.
Cris swallowed hard.
For a brief moment, his fingers tightened around the leather cover of his handbook. He could hear the distant chatter of guns, the roar of engines, and the countless voices surrounding them.
His heart was pounding.
But then he slowly closed his eyes.
When he opened them again, the fear in his expression had been replaced by determination.
"My formation is ready," he whispered.
Irin glanced toward him and smiled warmly.
"Then deploy it, Cris. We trust you."
Cris looked at her for a moment before a small smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you, sis."
He raised his right hand and began channeling his mana into the handbook.
The pages suddenly began glowing.
A tiny geometric array emerged from between them, its intricate patterns rotating rapidly as it floated above the book. The small formation expanded with astonishing speed, growing larger and larger until it hovered several meters above the ground.
Cris’s eyes hardened.
With a sharp motion of his wrist, he slammed his hand downward.
The formation descended.
Boom!
The moment it struck the earth, an enormous translucent golden grid erupted from the point of impact.
It spread outward like a wave, racing across the asphalt until it covered an area spanning nearly two kilometers.
The atmosphere changed instantly.
Every Miller cousin standing within the formation felt an immense surge of power course through their bodies. Their strength increased, their movements became lighter, and their minds suddenly felt sharper and clearer than before.
Across the battlefield, however, the Eclipse fighters experienced the exact opposite.
An invisible pressure descended upon them.
Their bodies suddenly felt heavier. Their movements became sluggish, their reflexes dulled, and the power behind their attacks was significantly reduced.
The battlefield had been transformed.
And the first person to take advantage of it was Noah.
The instant the domain stabilized, his figure vanished.
Bam!
He reappeared beside an enemy armored transport.
Before the soldiers surrounding the vehicle could even react, Noah’s legendary daggers flashed.
He swung them in a simple, almost casual arc.
A terrifying metallic shriek rang through the battlefield.
The massive armored transport was sliced cleanly in two.
A moment later, its engine erupted.
Boom!
A blinding fireball swallowed the vehicle as the explosion hurled nearby mercenaries through the air.
"What... what kind of power is that?"
The Eclipse fighters stared in disbelief.
The shock lasted only a moment before panic began spreading through their ranks.
"Damn it! Prepare all heavy weapons!"
"Turn the cannons toward them!"
"These bastards want to fight to the death!"
The Eclipse captains desperately shouted orders as their men scrambled toward the mounted artillery.
Across the country, millions of viewers gasped.
The high-definition cameras had barely managed to capture Noah’s movement. To most viewers, he had simply disappeared and reappeared beside the armored vehicle before it exploded.
But the Eclipse gang had no time to process what had happened.
Because the moment their artillery began turning toward the Miller cousins, two voices rang out simultaneously.
"No, you do not."
Irin and Ryan raised their glowing staves at the same time.
Mana surged around them.
Cris’s golden formation immediately responded, amplifying the power flowing through their bodies.
The two mages unleashed their spells together.
A towering column of crimson fire erupted across the battlefield while, beside it, a jagged wave of glacial ice surged forward like an advancing wall.
The firestorm swept through the enemy’s formation, while the freezing wave crashed into the heavy artillery positions.
Under the combined enhancement of Cris’s formation, both spells carried twice their normal destructive power.
Heavy artillery mounts froze solid in an instant.
Then, before the Eclipse fighters could react, the frozen weapons shattered apart under the overwhelming force, fragments of ice and molten debris scattering across the battlefield.
For the first time since the siege began, the laughter of the Eclipse gang disappeared completely.
From the executive suite on the thirtieth floor of the Evergreen building, Arthur stood quietly beside the floor-to-ceiling window, his hands resting behind his back as he watched the tactical display below. A faint smile touched his lips as he observed the battle unfolding exactly as he had expected.
Sebas stood half a step behind him, maintaining his usual silent, posture-perfect stance.
"Sebas, have you entered the game yet?" Arthur asked without turning around.
"Yes, Young Master. I chose the Earth Magus path and established a Platinum foundation," Sebas replied respectfully.
"Good. Then challenge the legendary grade class evolution trial immediately. Take these."
Arthur reached into his space ring and casually retrieved a set of radiant equipment designed for a high-tier spellcaster. A legendary robe woven from shimmering golden thread appeared first, followed by a crystalline wand that radiated intense elemental pressure. He then took out a pair of polished enchanted boots and a heavy protective amulet before holding the entire set toward Sebas.
Sebas’s eyes widened slightly as he looked at the equipment.
"Young Master, these are far too valuable..." he began hesitantly.
"Do not talk so much. I do not need weak subordinates," Arthur interrupted calmly, his voice carrying an absolute certainty that left no room for argument. "Only by becoming stronger can you be of real use to me. So become strong."
Sebas immediately closed his mouth.
He accepted the equipment with both hands and bowed deeply.
"Young Master, do you wish for me to step outside and join the battle below?"
"No need. Enter the game and clear your evolution trial."
Arthur gave a simple wave of his hand before turning his attention back toward the battlefield.
Sebas bowed once more, then stepped into an adjacent rest area. After carefully placing the equipment beside him, he closed his eyes and initiated the dive sequence.
Meanwhile, the streets below had descended into complete chaos.
The Eclipse gang unleashed thousands of rounds of heavy ammunition, filling the avenue with the thunderous roar of gunfire. Bullets tore through the air in dense streams, striking the Miller family’s vanguard from every direction.
Yet none of it mattered.
Jake stood firmly at the front, his tank skills absorbing the overwhelming barrage. Damian’s knight aura reinforced the defensive line around him, while Laura continuously released waves of healing light that repaired every bit of damage before it could accumulate.
The Miller family’s formation remained completely intact.
Then Noah entered the enemy ranks.
His figure blurred across the battlefield, moving so quickly that the surrounding mercenaries could barely follow him with their eyes. His legendary daggers left thin trails of light as they slipped effortlessly past armor, shields, and defensive skills.
A wild, thrill-seeking grin spread across his face.
For the first time in a long while, Noah was able to completely surrender himself to his natural battle instincts.
He moved from target to target with terrifying precision, cutting through enemy players and heavily armed mercenaries before they could even understand what had happened.
Nearby, Andrew’s spear danced through the enemy formation, striking key targets and breaking their defensive lines. Henry followed with his spell-infused blade, each swing cleaving through groups of enemies and forcing them backward.
Every attempt by Eclipse to reorganize was immediately detected.
Victor’s eyes constantly swept across the battlefield, analyzing every movement.
"They’re shifting their forces toward the eastern side. Noah, intercept them. Andrew, push forward three meters. Henry, close the gap on the left."
His commands came one after another, each perfectly timed.
The cousins responded instantly.
Every time Eclipse attempted to create an opening, Victor identified it before the enemy could exploit it. Every time they tried to reinforce a collapsing section, the Miller cousins struck precisely where the reinforcement was headed.
The battlefield became a slaughterhouse of strategy rather than numbers.
Three minutes passed in the blink of an eye.
