Chapter 41: Throwing Legendary items like candies

When Noah looked at him, he felt an instinctive wave of pressure washing over his senses.

He instinctively took a half step back.

Arthur examined Noah carefully.

His cousin had successfully evolved his class into a legendary-grade Assassin.

"Not bad."

Arthur gave him a faint smile.

This cousin of his possessed exceptional talent. In his previous life, Noah had died prematurely before reaching his full potential, never getting the chance to truly shine on the global stage.

"Arthur, you have finally come out! The situation outside is rapidly deteriorating," Noah said, his voice laced with anger. "The Eclipse gang has dispatched hundreds of players along with thousands of heavily armed soldiers. They seem hesitant because of your presence, which is why they have not launched a full assault yet. But they gave us a 3 hours ultimatum to surrender, apologize, and pay two trillion dollars. Otherwise, they threatened to launch an all-out war against our family."

Noah clenched his fists tightly, clearly wanting to rush outside and eliminate the enemy forces immediately.

"Did their faction leader, the Wolf, come personally?" Arthur asked calmly.

"Probably not," Noah replied. "The local government is attempting to negotiate a peaceful resolution, but Eclipse brought heavy artillery and specialized military gear with them."

"Tsk! They are just small fries."

Arthur dismissed the threat without the slightest concern.

"You are a legendary-grade Assassin now, right?"

"Yes, I am."

Noah replied proudly, straightening his back.

"Good. Take these and go clear out those ants. Do not let them trample on our family territory."

Arthur reached into his storage interface and retrieved a pair of gleaming daggers, a full suit of fitted lightweight armor, and a pair of enchanted boots.

"These are legendary-grade items. They should come in handy for what you need to do."

Arthur casually tossed the gear toward his cousin.

Noah swallowed loudly as he caught the glowing equipment.

"Legendary-grade items? How did you manage to bring these into the real world? Where did you even get them?"

He was shocked to his core.

Noah knew how difficult it was to transfer physical gear from the game into reality. He had only managed to bring his base attributes across because the conversion fee for high-tier items was far beyond his current personal budget.

"Do not ask unnecessary questions. Just take them, go outside, and eliminate everyone who poses a threat."

Arthur spoke softly.

Noah took a deep breath to steady his racing heart.

"Okay."

He gripped the legendary daggers tightly.

The main doors to the courtyard opened wider, and the rest of his cousins entered the room.

Their eyes immediately locked onto the radiant equipment held in Noah’s hands.

"Noah, where did you get those items?" Irin asked, stepping forward with an astonished look.

"Arthur gave them to me," Noah answered, still trying to process the sheer value of what he was holding.

"Which grade are they? Common tier?"

Irin leaned closer to inspect the polished metal.

"Legendary grade."

Noah replied flatly.

Irin immediately turned her gaze toward Arthur.

Seeing his unbothered expression, her eyes flushed with intense envy.

Before she could say a word, Arthur raised his hand.

Several more sets of legendary-grade equipment materialized in the air, each one tailored specifically to the combat class of the person standing before him.

"Put these on and step outside. I want to see how you perform against the forces waiting for us."

Arthur gave them no opportunity to ask questions.

A collective gasp echoed through the room.

Laura turned her head toward Alexander, silently asking if he knew what was happening.

Everyone present understood the astronomical market value of legendary gear.

Each individual piece was worth two to three trillion dollars in external trade value, yet Arthur was handing them out like candies in halloween.

"Do not look at me. Ask your cousin."

Alexander waved his hand helplessly.

"This old man needs to calm his heart first."

His eyes were red with jelousy, though he could hardly bring himself to demand equipment from his own grandson.

"Old man, which class did you end up choosing in the game?"

Arthur asked, looking toward his grandfather.

"Hehehe, this old man chose the Alchemist path."

Alexander answered with a proud grin.

"Not bad at all."

Arthur nodded.

"Give me your player identification code."

Alexander recited his system identification string, still looking somewhat confused by the request.

A sudden notification chimed in Alexander’s vision.

[Ding! You have received fifty thousand Divine Gold coins from player Arthur Miller.]

"Use that capital to purchase advanced potion recipes and raise your craft proficiency. There is no need to rush your level for the time being."

"Holy cow!"

Alexander nearly shouted, almost cursing out loud from sheer surprise.

Fortunately, his physical body had already been enhanced as a player. Otherwise, the sheer shock might have caused a medical emergency.

"Go back into the game for now. Do not come out unless it is absolutely necessary."

Alexander stepped forward to give Arthur a tight bear hug out of sheer excitement.

Arthur shifted his posture and dodged the attempt in an instant.

"Do not act like a creepy old man."

He gave him a look of disdain.

The rest of the family burst into laughter at the sight.

Alexander did not take offense.

He simply snorted, walked back to his armchair, and closed his eyes.

Within ten seconds, his physical body began to turn semi-transparent as his mind re-entered the game.

Arthur turned back to face his cousins, who were now fully outfitted in radiant armor and wielding high-tier weapons.

"Now, go outside and give me a good show."

A faint smile played on his lips.

"Whoever eliminates the highest number of enemies will receive a reward far beyond your imagination."

As he said that, Arthur reached into his space ring and took out a magnificent piece of armor.

The moment it appeared, the entire room seemed to fall silent.

The armor looked divine even at first glance. Its surface shimmered with a faint, mysterious radiance, and intricate patterns covered every inch of its body. It was the kind of equipment that could make anyone fall in love with it at first sight.

Especially Laura and Irin.

The two stared at the armor like hungry wolves who had just spotted their prey.

"What grade is this armor?"

Their voices trembled slightly.

Arthur had already given them legendary-grade equipment.

Could it be...

Both of them swallowed nervously.

Gulp!

Arthur glanced at their expressions and smiled faintly.

"It is exactly what you are imagining."

The moment those words fell, their eyes widened.

Arthur’s expression suddenly turned cold.

"Now get to work and kill. Show the entire world that messing with the Miller family is not child’s play."

Everyone’s eyes immediately lit up.

"Watch us. We will not disappoint you!"

Laura stepped forward without hesitation and took the lead, with the others quickly following behind her.

Just as they were about to leave, the sound of footsteps came from behind.

Sebas entered the room.

The usually composed butler had a dark expression on his face.

"Young Master, may I have a word with you?"

Arthur turned toward him calmly.

"What is it?"

"The Frost family rejected our proposal to break off the engagement," Sebas replied solemnly. "They even threatened to take us to court. Moreover, the Ashborn family is protecting them."

Arthur’s eyes narrowed slightly.

"Is that so?"

His voice was calm, but a trace of coldness could be heard within it.

"Looks like they don’t want to live much longer. I’ll look into this later."

Arthur walked toward the window.

He looked down at the street below.

Hundreds of vehicles had gathered along the road, while thousands of people surrounded the area.

The crowd was waiting for him.

They had come demanding that Arthur step outside, apologize, and surrender to Eclipse.

"Heh! A bunch of ants.", Arthur smirked.
