[Ding! Your class is about to evolve. Be prepared.]

Arthur was still lying on the ground, quietly watching the devastated battlefield. His entire body remained paralyzed, and he still had three minutes before the effect completely wore off.

[Ding! Your Common Grade Necromancer Class has evolved into the Primordial Grade Class, "Primordial God of Shadow."]

Boom!

In an instant, a tremendous pillar of dark light erupted from Arthur’s body and shot toward the endless sky. The terrifying energy spread across the battlefield, causing the surrounding space to tremble violently.

Arthur’s body slowly began floating into the air. At the same time, the countless wounds covering his body started healing at an unbelievable speed.

His torn muscles regenerated. His shattered bones reconstructed themselves. Even the deepest injuries disappeared within moments as an incomparably pure energy coursed through his body.

Then, something even more astonishing happened.

The red blood flowing through Arthur’s veins began changing.

It was no longer ordinary blood. With every passing moment, its color grew darker until it became a mysterious shade that seemed to contain countless stars and galaxies.

It was as if the blood flowing through his body had transformed into a liquid universe.

Boom!

The moment the first drop of this universal blood was formed, an overwhelming aura erupted from Arthur’s body. The surrounding space cracked violently, unable to withstand the pressure radiating from him.

The transformation continued without stopping.

Ten percent.

That was all.

Once roughly ten percent of Arthur’s blood had transformed into the strange, star-filled universal blood, the process suddenly came to a halt.

Yet even that small change had already transformed his body tremendously.

His six-foot-tall body stretched slightly, reaching six feet three inches. His muscles became firmer and more perfectly defined, while his entire physique settled into an almost flawless proportion.

His already handsome face became even more striking, though Arthur himself did not notice the change. It was simply the natural effect of his newly awakened, higher-order bloodline.

[Ding! The paralysis effect has been nullified.]

[Ding! Your class has evolved into the Primordial Grade.]

[Ding! You are now eligible to convert your currency into Eternal Gold and Primordial Gold Coins.]

The entire transformation was so cinematic that it felt almost unreal.

Arthur slowly descended from the air and landed on the ground. His feet touched the devastated battlefield as he opened his eyes for the first time since the evolution began.

His pupils were no longer ordinary.

They looked as vast as the universe itself, as though endless galaxies were quietly revolving within them.

Arthur clenched his fist.

Crack!

The surrounding air instantly shattered.

He stared at his hand in disbelief before a huge grin slowly appeared on his face.

"Strong."

He tightened his fist again, feeling the terrifying power coursing through every inch of his body.

"So damn strong."

Arthur took a deep breath before looking toward the system interface.

"My full stats."

Arthur’s eyes immediately landed on Shadow Contract.

His previous Necromancer summoning ability had completely disappeared after the class evolution. Curious, he tapped on the new skill.

[Shadow Contract: As the God of Shadows, you can form contracts with the shadows of the dead. Contracted shadows retain their full power.

If you contract the shadow of a boss, its grade will evolve by one major rank.

Special Privilege: You can use all skills and techniques possessed by your contracted shadows. All contracted shadows are 100% loyal to you.]

Arthur sucked in a cold breath.

This was far more powerful than he had expected.

His class evolution had granted him a thirtyfold attribute multiplier.

He already knew that Elite Grade classes possessed a 2x multiplier, Royal Grade classes had 3x, and Legendary Grade classes had 5x.

As for the grades beyond Legendary, he had never encountered enough information to know their exact multipliers.

But now he knew one thing for certain.

Primordial Grade had a 30x multiplier.

And this was not a temporary buff.

It would continue to affect every attribute he gained from leveling.

For example, a Common Grade player who failed to evolve their class would gain only ten attribute points when advancing from Level 10 to Level 11 using a Bronze Foundation.

But if Arthur used Divine Gold to advance his level, his Divine Gold Foundation would provide 500 attribute points.

Then his Primordial Grade class would multiply those 500 points by thirty.

That meant he would gain a staggering 15,000 attribute points from a single level.

"Holy sh..."

Arthur’s excitement nearly exploded out of him.

If things continued like this, his growth speed would become utterly ridiculous.

Then he remembered something.

"Eternal Gold and Primordial Gold Coins?" Arthur asked curiously. "What are those? I’ve never heard of them before."

[Ding! Eternal Grade Foundation provides 100x attribute points per level.]

[Ding! Primordial Grade Foundation provides 200x attribute points per level.]

[Ding! 100 Divine Gold = 1 Eternal Gold.]

[Ding! 100 Eternal Gold = 1 Primordial Gold.]

[Ding! As a Primordial Grade Class holder, you can only level up using Primordial Gold.]

Arthur froze.

His excitement disappeared almost instantly.

His expression gradually became as dark as the bottom of a cooking pot.

One Primordial Gold was equivalent to 100 Eternal Gold.

And each Eternal Gold was worth 100 Divine Gold.

In other words, a single Primordial Gold was equivalent to 10,000 Divine Gold.

Arthur’s mouth twitched.

"That’s... expensive."

To advance from Level 10 to Level 11, he needed 50,000 Primordial Gold.

That meant he needed a staggering 500,000,000 Divine Gold just to gain a single level.

Arthur’s expression became increasingly ugly.

He had just completed the trial and obtained one million Divine Gold by clearing each of the ten Mythical Bosses twice.

Initially, he had thought that his enormous reward would allow him to jump directly to Level 20.

But now?

He could not even afford one level.

"Fuck..."

Arthur cursed under his breath.

Although leveling through Primordial Gold would make him unimaginably stronger than ordinary players, there was still one enormous problem.

Where the hell was he supposed to obtain that much money?

For the first time, even his 10,000x multiplication talent seemed slightly less impressive.

While Arthur was silently cursing the system and every ancestor in its imaginary family tree, something suddenly caught his attention.

His eyes slowly shifted toward the corpses scattered across the battlefield.

The ten Mythical Grade Bosses were still lying where they had fallen.

Even the corpse of the Butterfly had not completely disappeared. Half of its body had been devoured by the enormous worm, but the remaining half was still intact.

Arthur’s heart began beating faster.

An idea suddenly appeared in his mind.

"Can I...?"

His eyes gradually lit up.

Without wasting another second, Arthur walked toward the corpse of the first Mythical Boss he had killed, the Broad Sword Titan.

The enormous corpse lay motionless on the devastated battlefield.

Arthur stared at it for several seconds.

"How do I form the contract?"

[Ding! You may choose a word to activate your Shadow Contract.]

[Ding! Once selected, this word will become your Contract Command.]

Arthur’s eyes gleamed.

"Is that so?"

A faint smile appeared on his face.

He raised his right hand toward the corpse.

Then, in a calm and authoritative voice, he spoke a single word.

"Arise."

Boom!

The moment the word left his mouth, an enormous amount of dark shadow energy erupted from the Broad Sword Titan’s corpse.

The entire battlefield trembled.

A pillar of intense black light suddenly tore through the sky, carrying an overwhelming pressure that made the surrounding space distort.

[Ding! You have successfully contracted a Mythical Grade Boss.]

[Ding! Due to your Primordial Authority, the Mythical Grade Boss has evolved into the God Rank.]

A violent energy pulse exploded outward.

Arthur stood motionless within the storm of energy, his eyes filled with anticipation.

Suddenly, the shadow of the Broad Sword Titan began materializing.

Dark energy condensed into a humanoid figure.

However, the enormous Titan had changed.

It was now only around seven feet tall, but the broad sword in its hand looked even more imposing than before.

The dark-armored knight slowly lowered himself onto one knee.

"Greetings, my liege."

His deep, powerful voice echoed across the battlefield.

"May I ask you to grant me a name?"

Arthur’s eyes widened.

It could actually speak.

"Stats."

The system immediately displayed the shadow’s information.

[Name: ______

Grade: God

Level: 10

Strength: 1,020

Defence: 1,020

Agility: 1,020

Vitality: 1,020

Talents: Absolute Sword Mastery, Sword Intent]

Arthur stared at the numbers.

The shadow’s attributes were nowhere near his current strength it was similar to his strength before the evolution.

However, this was understandable.

The system had originally provided the Bosses with enormous vitality and combat power so they could serve as powerful enemies within the trial.

Now that the Broad Sword Titan had become his contracted shadow, its attributes had been converted to follow the player’s level-based system.

Even so, it was still an extremely powerful subordinate.

And, more importantly, it possessed two terrifying talents.

"From now on, you will be called Divine Sword."

The moment Arthur gave him the name, the blank section beside "Name" changed.

[Name: Divine Sword]

The knight lowered his head respectfully.

"Thank you, my liege."

Divine Sword slowly stood and moved behind Arthur.

He remained there silently, his enormous broad sword resting against his shoulder as he radiated the imposing presence of a veteran warrior.

Arthur nodded in satisfaction.

Then his gaze shifted toward the remaining nine corpses.

A strange smile slowly appeared on his face.

If one Mythical Boss could become a God Rank shadow...

What would happen to the remaining nine?
