Chapter 355: Chapter 7
New Mission 58: Preservation of Historical Memory
Mission Description: Preserve and study historical materials from before the Wasteland World, providing a window into the past for the shelter’s future generations to draw experience and wisdom from.
Mission Objective: Within 150 days, establish a historical memory preservation project, collect historical materials, and complete at least one historical research topic.
Mission Reward: Successful completion will grant 5x Random Green Blueprints, 2,000x White Parts, and a Historical Research Fund. These rewards will help enhance the shelter’s cultural inheritance and historical education.
Ye Yun reviewed the new missions, understanding the importance of each one to the shelter. He immediately summoned Lin Hao, Zhou Mei, Leo, and Bena to discuss how to assign the tasks and ensure each could be executed effectively, guaranteeing the shelter’s safety and development.
"Lin Hao, New Mission 56, Energy Network Optimization, requires your professional technical support," Ye Yun said, addressing Lin Hao first. "We need you to lead the optimization and upgrade of the energy network to improve our energy management efficiency."
Lin Hao nodded seriously. "I’ll immediately organize a team of energy engineers to analyze the current network and design a more optimized energy distribution plan."
Ye Yun turned to Zhou Mei. "New Mission 57, Promotion of Resident Autonomy, is crucial for enhancing community cohesion. Zhou Mei, you’ll be responsible for establishing a resident self-governance mechanism and encouraging active participation."
Zhou Mei showed her understanding and promised, "I’ll organize a community activities team to plan promotional events for resident autonomy and ensure the residents’ voices are heard and considered."
Finally, Ye Yun looked at Leo. "New Mission 58, Preservation of Historical Memory, will require your organizational skills. Leo, we need you to lead the preservation project and conduct historical research."
Leo replied resolutely, "I will organize historians and researchers to collect and sort historical materials. We’ll conduct in-depth historical research to accumulate a priceless historical fortune for our shelter."
Under Ye Yun’s arrangements, the three teams began their respective tasks. Each team understood their responsibilities and would contribute their strength to the shelter’s future.
Lin Hao led the team of energy engineers and began optimizing the energy network. They analyzed energy consumption patterns and designed a more efficient energy distribution algorithm.
"Our energy network optimization will ensure that every kilowatt-hour of electricity is used where it’s needed most," Lin Hao said during an energy management meeting. "This is the key to improving our energy efficiency."
Zhou Mei and the community activities team began planning promotional events for resident autonomy. They organized a general assembly for the residents and established a community council, allowing residents to participate in the shelter’s management and decision-making.
"We need every resident to feel like this shelter is truly theirs," Zhou Mei said at a community autonomy meeting. "This is the foundation for strengthening our community’s cohesion."
Leo led the historians and researchers in starting the historical memory preservation project. They collected a large amount of historical material from before the Wasteland World and began their research.
"Our historical memory preservation project will help future generations understand the past and plan for the future," Leo said at a historical research meeting. "This is an important way for us to pass on our culture and accumulate wisdom."
As the missions progressed, the shelter’s residents once again felt the power of unity and cooperation. Through their combined efforts, their home became more efficient, democratic, and culturally rich.
With the completion of the new missions, the shelter’s strength increased significantly. The optimization of the energy network improved energy efficiency, the promotion of resident autonomy strengthened community cohesion, and the establishment of the historical memory preservation project amassed a priceless historical fortune for the shelter.
Ye Yun offered high praise for the completion of each task. He knew that these achievements would have been impossible without the hard work and contribution of every resident. At a general assembly for all residents, Ye Yun gave an impassioned speech:
"My dear residents, we have once again proven the power of unity. It is precisely because of everyone’s combined efforts that we were able to overcome countless difficulties and achieve what we have today. Our shelter has grown stronger, and our home has become a better place. For that, I want to express my most sincere gratitude to every single person who has contributed to this shelter."
The residents responded with thunderous applause, their eyes shining with pride and hope. They knew that as long as they were united as one, there was no difficulty they couldn’t overcome.
Ye Yun continued, "However, we cannot grow complacent. The Wasteland World is full of unknowns and challenges. We must continuously improve our own strength to handle any situation that may arise in the future. Next, we have new missions to complete."
In this challenging Wasteland World, the residents of the shelter would continue to stand united, work together, face new challenges, and create an even more brilliant future.
New Mission 59: Ecological Agriculture Development
Mission Description: To achieve sustainable development, we must develop ecological agriculture, protecting the environment while ensuring our food supply.
Mission Objective: Within 120 days, establish at least one ecological agriculture demonstration zone utilizing environmentally friendly farming practices.
Mission Reward: Successful completion will grant 7x Random Green Blueprints, 2,500x White Parts, and an Ecological Agriculture Guidebook. These rewards will help enhance the shelter’s agricultural sustainability and environmental protection.
