The battle between the Dragon Kingdom United Fleet and the Han Jin Association Fleet raged for the entire night.

The Han Jin Association Fleet may have had superior weaponry, but the Dragon Kingdom United Fleet had superior numbers. At close quarters, the cannons were of little use, forcing the fight to be decided by small arms.

The Dragon Kingdom United Fleet could only fight with their backs against the wall. If they chickened out now, they would be utterly annihilated by the Han Jin Association Fleet!

Facing the threat of death, everyone summoned immense courage, fearlessly storming the Han Jin Association’s large ships, pitting flesh and blood against firearms!

Of course, the Dragon Kingdom United Fleet had weapons of its own. Though not as advanced as the enemy’s, they were enough to provide some covering fire, at least preventing their opponents from brazenly exposing themselves to attack.

The battle finally ended at six in the morning. The Dragon Kingdom United Fleet had at last defeated the Han Jin Association Fleet.

But in the midst of the chaos, Park Yiye had escaped with three speedboats!

"Shit! I should’ve taken the supplies and ditched these morons long ago!"

Park Yiye swore. Looking at the limited supplies on the three speedboats, he let out a helpless sigh and ordered his men to flee in a single direction.

The Dragon Kingdom United Fleet did not pursue them. The battle had been exceptionally brutal and their losses were heavy. Besides, the enemy was in speedboats, making a chase difficult. They decided it was better to deal with the five large ships they had just captured.

Just then, the three large ships that had been observing the battle from afar began to approach them.

They didn’t even have time to clear the decks, immediately repositioning the captured Han Jin Association Fleet’s ships to the perimeter.

The earlier ramming had damaged most of the vessels, causing them to list, but thankfully, after some emergency repairs, they were still able to move!

"They actually have the gall to approach us!"

"Don’t hesitate! Open fire on them immediately!"

"But we don’t have any gunners, do we?"

The geomagnetic storm had damaged all the advanced targeting systems, so now everything depended on a gunner’s experience.

They immediately found some gunners among the prisoners, brought them to the cannons, and ordered them to fire on the three approaching ships.

Aboard the three large ships observing from afar, the crews’ faces paled when they suddenly heard the sound of cannon fire.

The other two large ships immediately fled.

"I never should have fucking teamed up with you two backstabbers!"

No matter how much he cursed, the other two ships sped off in different directions.

Although it had been hit, the ship could still move, albeit much more slowly.

The United Fleet discovered that their new gunners weren’t very accurate; out of the twelve shells they had just fired, only one had hit its mark!

Seeing the three ships turn and flee, they immediately decided to cease fire to conserve ammunition.

The cannons were their primary deterrent; they couldn’t afford to be without ammunition!

"Everyone, get organized and start repairing the ships immediately! Those three traitors broadcast our situation all over the regional channel. Other bases might have their eyes on us now!"

"Right!"

Just then, a crewman suddenly ran up.

"Reporting! Large cruise ship spotted to our southeast, and it’s approaching!"

The captains’ hearts sank. They immediately rushed to the southeastern side of the fleet while issuing commands.

"Aim the cannons to the southeast, now! Everyone else, grab your weapons and prepare to fight!"

The United Fleet’s crew immediately sprang into action.

By the time the captains reached the southeastern side of the formation, a speedboat was already speeding toward them, while the cruise ship remained in the distance.

"You have entered the United Fleet’s controlled waters! Halt your advance immediately!" one of the United Fleet’s captains shouted through a megaphone.

"I’m here to talk about a partnership!" a voice replied from the speedboat, also via megaphone. "I’ve come alone!"

The captains frowned at the reply.

"Do we just open fire and drive it back? Or do we capture it?"

"We’ve just been fighting all night. No one’s in good shape. What if we start shooting and that cruise ship has heavy weapons?"

"It’s just one person, what are you afraid of? Let’s talk to him and see what kind of game he’s playing."

"I agree. We need time to regroup. That last battle was too intense."

After discussing it, one captain called out on behalf of the others: "Alright, you can approach. But if a second person steps out of that speedboat, we’ll open fire immediately!"

"Okay, one moment!" the person replied. The speedboat then slowly approached the large ship where the captains were standing, and a boarding ladder was lowered.

A single person emerged from the speedboat and climbed the ladder without any hesitation.

Seeing that there was indeed only one person, they relaxed.

After defeating the Han Jin Association Fleet, they had acquired a haul of automatic rifles. No matter how tough one person was, there was no way they could withstand a hail of bullets from so many guns!
