"Of course. What did you think?" Si Youqin glanced at Lin Mu in confusion and placed the braised chicken with potatoes on a side table.

Lin Mu was stunned. He had always thought the chicken was vacuum-sealed food they had salvaged, just tossed in a pan and stir-fried.

Beside him, Wang Feng was just as surprised. "I can’t believe our base is actually raising live chickens!"

Lin Mu frowned slightly. "Even if we are raising live chickens, we can’t just slaughter two at once! That’s too wasteful!"

Just then, Lu Jiamei and the others walked in from outside.

"What perfect timing! The food is ready!" Xin Wan said, wiping her hands as she came over from the kitchen.
