Global Composite Master: Compositing an Undead Army from the Start

Chapter 370 - 217: The Calamity of Disaster! (Five in One)_2

Chapter 370: Chapter 217: The Calamity of Disaster! (Five in One)_2

This type of legion was even more terrifying.

As the circular passageways appeared, countless monsters soon began to fly out from within them.

Chen Mo sensed the massive number of emerging monsters, his brows knitting slightly. The weakest are all second-transition?

A legion where the weakest members were at the second-transition level—its formidable power was self-evident. This was clearly a force preparing to completely annihilate Earth!

As monsters continuously streamed from the sky, an image suddenly flashed through Chen Mo’s mind.

When he had first arrived in the Dangerous Zone, he had seen his younger brother, Liu Yiming, adventuring there with a small team.

Damn it, Yiming is still in the Dangerous Zone! If the Disaster descends, he’ll undoubtedly be killed!

At this thought, Chen Mo instantly used Divine Flicker and reappeared at the location where he had first spotted Liu Yiming.

After scanning the surroundings, he found that Liu Yiming’s team was no longer in the vicinity, which made him somewhat anxious.

He hurriedly sent Liu Yiming a message.

[Chen Mo]: Yiming, what are your current coordinates?

Although Chen Mo had sent the message, Liu Yiming was so stunned by the cataclysmic vision unfolding in the sky that he had no presence of mind to check the Heavenly Path System.

Seeing no response from Liu Yiming as the Disaster loomed ever closer, Chen Mo immediately dispatched all nearby Skeleton Monsters to help him search.

「As for Liu Yiming’s current location…」

He and nine companions of the same level were in a Mutated Land within a grassland area. When the ten of them first saw the eerie celestial phenomena, they had immediately turned and started running towards the Safe Zone. However, they hadn’t run far before they saw circular passageways appearing in the sky, from which poured a flood of terrifying monsters. The sheer oppressive aura emanating from these beings terrified them so much their legs went soft.

Gazing at the Safe Zone, so distant it seemed on the horizon, a chilling sense of mortal danger welled up in their hearts. With so many powerful monsters, they realized there was nowhere left to run.

None of them came from wealthy families; they could barely afford a basic set of equipment and some healing potions, let alone expensive consumable items like Teleportation Talismans. Their only hope of escaping to the Safe Zone now lay in their own two legs. But it was painfully clear that the distance was too great; they would never make it back in time.

“We’re done for. We’re definitely going to die this time!”

“This is all Dong Yu’s fault! What a terrible day he picked to go out monster hunting.”

“How can you blame me? Who could have foreseen a Disaster today? Besides, you were the one who came to me first, saying you were close to leveling up and suggesting I organize some people to go out hunting monsters.”

As disaster loomed, members of the team began to argue amongst themselves. The other teammates, however, had no time for their bickering. They were all about to die; who had the energy to argue about whose fault it was? Besides, going out to hunt monsters was a voluntary decision by everyone. Who could they truly blame? They could only blame their own misfortune and the utter despicableness of the Yongming Star System! To think it had actually unleashed such a terrifying Disaster upon the Solar System!

The Disaster was on the verge of its full descent. The slaughter in the Dangerous Zone had yet to commence, but bloodshed had already erupted within the Safe Zone.

All identified aliens from the Yongming Star System were being ruthlessly exterminated by the combined forces of the Academy Alliance and powerful experts from the aristocratic families. Even though some were merely suspects, their prolonged association with these aliens made it difficult to dispel suspicions against them at this critical juncture. With no time for thorough investigations, the only option was to risk mistakenly killing innocents rather than allow any potential threats to escape. Otherwise, if even one slipped through, the resulting hidden dangers would be magnified tenfold, even a hundredfold. Although this approach was excessively inhumane, in such a desperate environment, they could only adopt methods that maximized their overall benefit.

For a time, blood flowed like rivers in the Safe Zone.

However, aliens within Earth’s Safe Zone were not under the protection of the Heavenly Dao, so killing them did not result in the killer becoming red-named. It was only the wrongfully killed Earthlings whose deaths would cause their assailants to become red-named. Fortunately, this was a collective action, and this eventuality had been foreseen; the leadership had already brought items to cleanse red names. All these red-named individuals had their status swiftly cleansed. This was primarily to prevent these red-named individuals from being opportunistically killed by some profit-obsessed madmen during the ensuing chaos.

Although the Global Academy Alliance and the aristocratic families acted swiftly, the number of aliens concealed across the globe was by no means limited to those already exposed and eliminated. In every academy, one or two teachers were infiltrated aliens. Furthermore, many other aliens remained scattered and hidden in various parts of the world. They had only managed to eliminate the majority of them.

As this majority of aliens was being exterminated, the Disaster finally descended in its entirety.

Within each circular passageway was an army ten thousand strong. Globally, there were tens of thousands of such circular passageways. This meant that at least several hundred million soldiers of the Heavenly Disaster Army had appeared. However, the number of fifth-transition experts among them was not as high as one might have imagined. Among the tens of thousands of such armies, only about one percent were led by fifth-transition experts. Even so, this still amounted to over a hundred experts at or above the fifth-transition level. This number was already terrifying enough.

As fifth-transition monster leaders led their forces out of the passageways, the Heavenly Disaster Army commenced its indiscriminate attacks.

WHOOSH, WHOOSH, WHOOSH!! BOOM, BOOM, BOOM!!

As terrifying attacks rained down from above, the continuous sounds of tearing air and deafening booms resounded. The entire land could not help but tremble, shaking violently from the onslaught.
