SUMMARY

In a world where supernatural humans are summoned to wield unimaginable power, these entities are known as Queens, and those who summon them are revered as Chess Players. While becoming a Chess Player is a dream held by all, reality is far harsher: the trial to awaken is a brutal challenge with catastrophic casualty rates, even among the societal elite.

Enter Smith, a crippled outcast from the slums. Lacking formal training, wealth, or experience, he gambled everything on the awakening trial—a suicidal decision by conventional standards. Yet against all odds, Smith survived and became a chess player.

His story truly began, however, with his very first summons.

Smith summoned a Queen bearing the legendary title Blade Saint ,Titles of this caliber were unheard of, far surpassing the highest known title of golden rank—a rank already as rare as a phoenix feather. But as Smith quickly discovered an unexpected personality trait: extreme possessiveness.

When his teammate scolded him for being late , the Blade Saint nearly choped off the man on the spot. Smith brushed it off as an isolated incident of overprotective loyalty. But when he unlocked his second and subsequent Queens, he realized it wasn't a fluke—every single one of his summons was dangerously yandere.

Things escalated until his summons nearly razed an entire city to the ground simply because border officials delayed Smith at the gates. Yet, Smith remained blissfully unbothered by their terrifying devotion. After all, he reasoned, it was just a little extra affection—and what man wouldn't want his women to be a bit possessive?
