Global Awakening: I'm the Only One Ready

Chapter 601. Success, the Celestial Court at Mount Kunlun

  • Next Chapter

Ever since entering the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm, Lu Yuan had known that reaching its peak would not take long. He had absolute confidence in everything he had accumulated and the depth of his cultivation.

However, reaching the peak of this realm did not mean he could advance directly into the Supreme Immortal Realm. Lu Yuan understood the vast difference between the two, which was why he had never been in a hurry.

Now, the time had come. He would first reach the peak of the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm, then find a way to continue growing stronger. As he had said before, he could only advance one step at a time.

Even so, anyone who learned how quickly Lu Yuan had reached the peak of the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm would be stunned beyond words. No one else could advance so far within the Immortal Realm in such a short time.

Most Celestial Seat Immortals needed to accumulate a great deal before progressing from newly entering the realm to its peak. Lu Yuan had done so with ease.

Lu Yuan sensed the newfound power coursing within him, his expression unchanged. ℯ𝔴ℯ

That was a little faster than I expected. Everything I accumulated before wasn't wasted after all, and the Celestial Emperor's Ancient Token is even more powerful than I thought. I wonder whether it can help me reach the Supreme Immortal Realm sooner.

Lu Yuan fell into thought. He did not consider reaching the peak of the Celestial Seat Immortal Realm anything worth celebrating.

To him, everything had only just begun.

The stronger he became before the great calamity, the better.

He said nothing more and focused on familiarizing himself with his current power.

Lu Yuan had resolved every immediate crisis. Experts from the Ji Clan and the Eternals might still be waiting somewhere in space, but those remnants no longer posed much of a threat. Only the two Starfield Lords remained dangerous, and they could appear at any moment.

Even so, Lu Yuan was not concerned. If the two Starfield Lords could descend, they would have done so long ago. Their continued absence meant that they still could not appear or had yet to finish certain preparations.

This gave Lu Yuan time to prepare and grow stronger.

His remaining concern was the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons. With the Celestial Emperor's Ancient Token, he would sense them the moment they descended.

Until then, he could devote himself fully to cultivation. He had made every preparation within his power; anything unexpected lay beyond his control.

Meanwhile, the Celestial Court had begun moving a group of people into Mount Kunlun, where construction of the new branch was already underway.

Earth's modern technology had largely stagnated after the Awakening, but it still had its uses. It proved invaluable in constructing the Celestial Court branch at Mount Kunlun, and the many powerful experts lending their strength made the work far easier than it once would have been.

In less than half a month, the branch was complete.

The next step was to staff the branch. Zhu Qingyu led a contingent of elite members, and a group of Jiang Clan disciples chose to accompany them.

Everyone knew that Mount Tai and Mount Kunlun were now their highest priorities. They could not afford to be careless. Although the Celestial Court's forces had been divided, its overall strength had not changed.

After all, both locations were on the same planet, allowing them to respond immediately if anything happened at either site.

Jiang Ningxian directed the work alongside Zhu Qingyu. Each managed different matters, and their close coordination soon brought everything to completion.

The Celestial Court also gained full control of the Eternal Warship.

It was a formidable weapon of war. With enough people operating it, the warship could unleash unprecedented might. By Jiang Ningxian's estimate, if every member of the Celestial Court boarded and poured their full strength into it, they could briefly hold off even a Celestial Seat Immortal.

This was an astonishing level of power. The Celestial Court's strongest members were only ordinary Immortal Realm experts, and the gap between them and a Celestial Seat Immortal was enormous.

Yet the Eternal Warship could bridge much of that gulf. Zhu Qingyu and the others were delighted when they learned what it could do.

The Celestial Court's limited reserves remained its greatest weakness. It might be said to rival the top hundred starfields, but in a true conflict, it would struggle to gain any advantage and might even face destruction. However, with the Eternal Warship, it could emerge victorious.

They could even control the Eternal Warship and truly campaign through space.

Even putting that aside, the Eternal Warship gave the Celestial Court enough power to suppress every Outer Cosmos being on Earth. It allowed them to unleash a strike at the level of a Celestial Seat Immortal.

The Celestial Court now far surpassed its former self in both overall strength and reserves. This made its members appreciate Lu Yuan's foresight all the more. He had begun laying plans long ago and seized the Eternal Warship when the opportunity arose.

The Outer Cosmos beings also understood that the Celestial Court had truly risen.

If not for the crisis posed by the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons, it would not take long for the Celestial Court to reshape the balance of power throughout the universe. Almost everyone was convinced of this.

Moreover, Lu Yuan himself was terrifying. Across the universe, perhaps only a Supreme Immortal could suppress him.

Everyone now understood one thing—the Celestial Court had risen.

However, it remained uncertain what would happen next. No one knew whether the crisis posed by the Extracosmic Heavenly Demons could be resolved.

If their truly powerful experts descended, what would happen then?

According to the records in the ancient texts, they were a great enemy that even the Human Sovereign Celestial Emperor had to handle carefully.

After the earlier coercion by the two factions, the Outer Cosmos beings already feared for their own survival. They could only hope the great calamity would arrive as late as possible.

They also knew hope would not delay the inevitable. In the end, they could only face it.

What would the universe become after this?

No one knew.

Even so, neither the Celestial Court nor Lu Yuan intended to sit back and wait for death.
