Gene Domination: The Loli Who Devours Worlds
Chapter 201: It is My Pet
Chapter 201: Chapter 200: It is My Pet
Above the ruins of Tokyo, purple mist surged incessantly.
Lilith stood atop a high-rise building, her crimson eyes watching the Flesh and Blood Corpse King slaughtering Hunters in the distance, a faint, lingering smile always on her lips.
Suddenly—
She turned around and cast her gaze toward the other side.
“I advise you not to move recklessly.”
The voice wasn’t loud, even carrying a hint of laziness, yet it clearly reached the ears of the burly figure in the distance who was preparing to act.
In the distance, the burly figure suddenly froze.
Xuanwu.
He had originally been preparing to head into the center of Tokyo to stop the Flesh and Blood Corpse King’s slaughter.
Although those Hunters lacked strength, if he could save them, the Dragon Kingdom would face fewer obstacles and might even gain their support when subjugating surrounding Factions.
But at this moment, he slowly turned around and looked toward the source of the voice.
When he clearly saw that petite figure, Xuanwu’s heart instantly sank to the bottom.
[Night].
The existence ranked first on the hunter leaderboard.
When did she arrive?
He hadn’t sensed her at all!
As fellow Hunters with SSS-Level Talents, just how big was the gap between him and her?!
This thought flashed through his mind, and Xuanwu’s expression shifted uncertainly.
Lilith watched his changing expression, a flicker of interest crossing her eyes.
“What?”
She tilted her head slightly, her youthful voice carrying a hint of playfulness.
“Are you also here to snatch this Flesh and Blood Corpse King?”
Xuanwu took a deep breath, suppressing the turbulent waves in his heart, and tried to keep his voice calm.
“I just wanted to save those few people.”
He paused and added.
“The human population is rapidly dwindling within one dungeon after another; saving one more counts.”
Lilith didn’t refute him.
She just gave Xuanwu a faint glance, the smile on her lips deepening.
Such words might fool a ghost, but that was about it.
However, she was too lazy to expose him.
She turned back and continued watching the Flesh and Blood Corpse King’s slaughter in the distance.
Xuanwu stood in place, looking at that petite back with a complex gaze.
He could clearly feel the faint sense of oppression emanating from her.
It was the threat of death, an instinctive warning under the crushing weight of absolute strength.
As fellow followers of the Slaughtering Bones route, she could easily kill him.
This realization completely extinguished the last trace of wishful thinking in his heart.
Just then, another figure quietly appeared.
It was a monk wearing dark red robes, his face handsome to the point of being eerie, with a bright red cinnabar mole glowing between his eyebrows.
Brahma.
The SSS-Rank Hunter from India, ranked third on the hunter leaderboard.
He had come to Japan this time for the Flesh and Blood Corpse King as well.
But now it seemed…
He might have to return empty-handed.
Brahma hesitated repeatedly before finally flickering over to the skyscraper where Lilith was.
“Amitabha.”
He pressed his palms together, recited a Buddhist mantra, and looked at Lilith with deep eyes.
“Female benefactor, this creature is formed from resentment and carries immense negative energy within itself.”
His voice was gentle and resonant, possessing a convincing power.
“If it could be handed over to this poor monk, I will surely transcend the resentment within it and release it from the sea of suffering.”
Lilith turned around and looked at this eerie-faced monk.
A smile slowly curled onto her lips.
“Transcend it?”
In Brahma’s eyes, that smile held a dangerous flavor.
“You seem to have misunderstood something.”
Lilith looked directly at Brahma, the temperature in her crimson eyes gradually dropping.
“It is a Gu I raised.”
“My private property.”
“How it is handled—”
She paused, her voice cold as frost.
“Is not for you to interfere with.”
Brahma’s smile stiffened slightly.
But Lilith wasn’t finished.
“Furthermore…”
She stared at Brahma, her gaze gradually turning gloomy.
“I remember back then, you seemed to have said—”
She imitated Brahma’s tone from the day he left, word for word.
“‘This monk shall remember today’s gift.'”
Brahma’s expression became quite colorful.
The smile on Lilith’s lips deepened.
“So for this meeting, how do you plan to take your revenge?”
The air seemed to freeze.
Standing there, Brahma felt an invisible pressure rushing at him.
But who was he?
He was India’s strongest, a master of manipulating faith and dreams.
This level of confrontation wasn’t enough to make him lose his composure.
“Ahem.”
He coughed lightly, an awkward smile appearing on his eerie face.
“That day, this monk was merely trying to save some face for himself.”
He pressed his palms together and bowed slightly.
“I hope the young lady does not misunderstand.”
Lilith looked at him without speaking.
A moment later, she withdrew her gaze and gave a faint hum of acknowledgment.
As if granted a grand pardon, Brahma bowed again and then vanished rapidly into the ruins.
Lilith only gave a casual glance in the direction he left, making no move to stop him.
Because that wasn’t his true body at all.
It was merely an avatar condensed from faith.
Even if she crushed it, it wouldn’t affect Brahma’s true body.
She couldn’t be bothered with such trouble.
…
In the distance, the purple domain energy finally stopped its rampage.
Those Hunters had all fallen.
The Flesh and Blood Corpse King had completed its final slaughter.
It looked up, its eyes—composed of countless overlapping pupils—gazing toward Lilith’s direction.
The next moment—
The dragon wings flapped violently!
The massive body soared into the air, shooting toward Lilith like an arrow!
Gales howled, and dust filled the sky!
The Flesh and Blood Corpse King hovered opposite the building where Lilith stood, its eighty-meter-tall body blotting out the sun.
It lowered its head, its dark purple compound eyes filled with submission and awe.
Lilith gave a light leap.
Her petite figure landed upon that hideous head.
A hard and warm sensation came from beneath her feet.
She stood tall, her crimson eyes sweeping over the ruins below shrouded in purple mist.
And then—
With a slight thought.
The Flesh and Blood Corpse King turned around, its dragon wings flapping again as it shot off into the distance!
Behind them, only the shrinking silhouette and the surging purple mist remained.
Xuanwu stood in place, not moving for a long time.
He gazed at the figure disappearing into the distance, his heart churning with turbulent waves that were hard to calm.
So, this monster really was raised by her.
No wonder.
No wonder Luna wouldn’t let the Dragon Kingdom take action.
Once the Dragon Kingdom intervened to snatch it, it would be equivalent to stealing America’s property and making an enemy of them.
Before the Dragon Kingdom unified the whole of Asia, this was not a wise move.
He took a deep breath and slowly turned around.
Above the ruins of Tokyo, the purple mist still surged.
But the corpses of those Hunters would remain here forever.
The price of greed has always been heavy.
And that petite figure, carrying her pet, had already vanished at the end of the horizon.
Leaving him alone, standing atop these ruins, speechless for a long time.
