Chapter 728 - 728: Streaming After Returning Home

After returning home from dinner, Ichin had just set his things down when a message arrived on his phone.

The gaming website that had interviewed him that morning had already finished editing the interview video and sent it over. As long as Ichin didn't find any issues with it, they would upload it immediately.

"Hmm... they're pretty efficient."

Sitting down on the sofa, Ichin opened the video and started watching it. Utaha and the others gathered around curiously.

Although they knew Ichin had spent the entire day giving interviews, they hadn't actually seen any of the footage.

Watching Ichin smile confidently while answering questions on camera, Haruno nodded with satisfaction.

"Mhm! Ichin, you really look natural on camera."

Without taking his eyes off the video, Ichin replied,

"Of course. I stream every now and then, after all. I've got plenty of experience."

Speaking of streaming, he suddenly realized he had barely streamed at all this month or chatted with his players.

Maybe after taking a bath, he should start a stream and play some games.

After finishing the video and confirming everything looked fine, Ichin replied to the editors, telling them they could publish it.

Putting away his phone, he got up and looked at Utaha and the others with a grin.

"Anyone want to come take a bath with me?"

Haruno immediately raised her hand.

"I do! Work was exhausting today. I want to bathe first! Utaha, Yukino, is that okay?"

Naturally, neither Utaha nor Yukino had any objections. They weren't in a hurry to bathe anyway and planned to stay downstairs for a while to play with the cats.

Meanwhile, after posting a streaming announcement on Bilibili with his phone, Ichin headed upstairs with Haruno.

They really did just take a bath.

The two simply soaked in the bathtub for a while longer than usual without doing anything else.

After getting out, Ichin went to the media room to prepare for his gaming livestream.

Haruno hugged his arm as they walked.

"So, Ichin, what are you planning to play tonight?"

"I haven't decided yet. I don't really feel like playing Apex lately. I skipped ranked for quite a while, so if I start grinding now it'll be exhausting. I'd rather wait until next season. Haruno, is there anything you want to play? If so, we can play together."

Haruno thought for a moment.

"How about a couple rounds of Fall Guys first? There's a costume I'm really close to unlocking."

"Sure. We'll play a couple of rounds of Fall Guys together, and after that we'll decide what else to play."

Once the computer booted up, Ichin adjusted his streaming equipment and started the broadcast.

Since he had announced it over half an hour in advance, viewers flooded into the stream the moment it went live.

Finally! You actually streamed! Feels like you haven't gone live at all this month!

Seeing the flood of questions about the new game, Ichin smiled.

"Alright, alright. We'll play a couple rounds of Fall Guys first. Once more people have joined, I'll show you a little gameplay from the new title. Sound good? It'll be Phasmophobia, not Bloodborne. Phasmophobia comes out in about a month, and we'll reveal more information next week. For today, I'll use the content we've already announced to demonstrate some actual gameplay."

Phasmophobia? That's fine too!

After updating the stream title with the night's schedule, Ichin looked toward Haruno, who was sitting beside him.

"Almost! This computer is usually Utaha's, so I need to switch over to my own account!"

The moment Haruno's voice was heard, the viewers immediately became excited.

Ichin glanced at the scrolling comments and laughed.

"Not bringing any of you along today. Maybe tomorrow. I need to help her earn two more crowns first so she can unlock the costume she wants."

As he spoke, he logged into Steam and launched Fall Guys.

Despite being the game's creator, Ichin's own account didn't contain every costume. Most of them were simply skins he had unlocked through normal gameplay, and there really weren't that many.

His current outfit was the Morgana collaboration skin from his own game Persona, turning his bean into an adorable cat.

After inviting Haruno to the party, her character also appeared wearing the same Morgana costume.

"Alright, let's get started. Which costume are you trying to unlock?"

"Godzilla!" Haruno answered cheerfully.

"I checked earlier. I'm only one crown away. Once I get it, if we still have time, we can play a couple more rounds. Didn't you say you wanted to collaborate with Evangelion afterward? I'll save up for that. ...Wait, did I accidentally let something slip?"

Turning her head, Haruno saw Ichin's secondary monitor completely filled with rapidly scrolling chat messages and awkwardly stuck out her tongue.

Ichin chuckled.

"It's fine. A collaboration isn't exactly top secret. I've already had people negotiating it anyway, so it shouldn't be a problem. Since it's out now, I'll officially tease it here. Unless something unexpected happens, you'll be seeing a Fall Guys collaboration with Evangelion this October."

There were plenty of Evangelion fans watching, and everyone instantly became excited.

It's actually happening? What costumes are we getting? Unit-01?

Give me a Rei Ayanami skin!

Although the collaboration had been announced, Ichin had no intention of revealing the costumes so early.

"As for the skins, you'll have to wait. I'm not leaking anything. Just wait for the official collaboration announcement later."

He glanced back at the screen.

"Alright, we've found a match. Let's get started."

The stream then shifted into an enjoyable session of Fall Guys.

After numerous updates, the game now featured far more maps and gameplay modes than it had at launch.

Some of the newer stages were challenging enough that even Ichin, the game's creator, found them genuinely difficult, exciting, and fun.

Fortunately, he hadn't gotten rusty.

Although they lost the first round, they won the second and claimed the crown, allowing Haruno to finally purchase the Godzilla costume she had been wanting.

They continued playing Fall Guys for nearly another hour, winning three crowns together.

Once the stream's popularity had climbed to where he wanted it, Ichin ended the Fall Guys segment and asked Haruno to bring Utaha and Yukino upstairs so the four of them could play a couple rounds of Phasmophobia together.

Launching the test build of Phasmophobia on his computer, Ichin smiled at the camera.

"Alright, the moment you've all been waiting for is finally here. Time for some Phasmophobia. If you haven't watched the trailer yet, now's a good time. It's on my channel while we're getting everything set up."
