Chapter 363: Alien
Chapter 363: Chapter 363: Alien
However, the equipment here was massive. Even with a 3x3x3 safe, it would be a tight squeeze.
Soon, Long Ming arrived at the B7 central corridor.
The central corridor was incredibly spacious, over thirty meters wide and so long he couldn’t see the end.
Long Ming drifted down the corridor, heading deeper inside.
Before long, he reached a section sealed off by a broken metal blast door. It had been sliced clean in half.
Long Ming reached out and touched the cut surface, his expression growing even more grave.
He continued to move forward cautiously.
「A long while later.」
Long Ming reached the end of the corridor.
The moment he floated out from the corridor, his view opened up to reveal a massive transit hall.
The entire hall was littered with the wreckage of broken mecha. The floors and walls were covered in scorch marks and bullet holes.
Long Ming floated forward cautiously, planning to check out the central control room.
Just then, Long Ming suddenly felt that something was wrong. ’It feels like something is getting closer.’ He stopped drifting and let his feet touch the floor.
He immediately felt a faint vibration through the floor and spun around to face the corridor he had just come from.
A terrifying figure was crawling toward him along the ceiling in the distance.
It was five meters tall, with a humanoid body and a deformed head. Its deep-set eyes glowed scarlet, and its sharp teeth were dripping with slime. Shrivelled skin was stretched taut over a ringed ribcage. Its left arm ended in sharp claws, while its right had fused into a razor-sharp blade. A seven-meter-long tail whipped behind it, radiating a terrifying aura.
Looking at the monster before him, Long Ming immediately scanned it with his wristband.
Type III Alien - Akaza (???)
Seeing the information, Long Ming’s guard shot up as if facing a powerful foe. He raised the Blood Blade, his eyes locked on the creature.
Akaza opened its mouth and unleashed a furious roar at Long Ming.
It then lunged forward with lightning speed, swinging its sharp blade in a horizontal slash.
Instead of dodging, Long Ming activated his Red Demon mecha. Stomping hard on the ground, he swung the Blood Blade with all his might to meet the attack.
CLANG!
The two attacks collided, and the air seemed to shudder.
Long Ming was overpowered and forced backward. He was shocked. ’My Power isn’t a match for it!’
A savage look appeared on Akaza’s ugly face as it swiped its sharp claws at Long Ming.
Long Ming decisively leaped back to dodge.
But its claws still grazed his chest, leaving behind a series of deep gashes.
Long Ming’s eye twitched.
Just then, Akaza spun around, its long tail whipping toward him.
Long Ming’s expression changed. He had no choice but to raise his Blood Blade to block.
BAM!
He was sent flying, crashing hard onto the floor.
Akaza leaped high into the air, pouncing on Long Ming.
Long Ming immediately rolled out of the way.
BOOM!
Akaza smashed into the ground.
The thick metal plating of the floor buckled under the impact.
Long Ming pushed off the floor to get back on his feet, then charged straight at Akaza, raising his Blood Blade for a strike.
Akaza had just turned to face him.
SLASH!
The Blood Blade struck its body, opening a five-centimeter-deep gash.
Enraged, Akaza swept its blade-arm at Long Ming.
Long Ming dodged to the side and quickly retreated to create some distance.
Akaza suddenly opened its mouth, gathering a violent gray beam of light.
"Holy shit!"
Long Ming’s face paled.
ZZZT!
The gray beam shot toward Long Ming.
Long Ming arched backward in a last-ditch dodge.
SCREEE!
The gray beam scraped past his face.
Having dodged the attack, Long Ming charged at Akaza again, lunging forward with a vicious thrust.
THUNK!
The Blood Blade struck Akaza square in the chest, the blade sinking into its flesh.
But a second later, the blade’s advance halted. Akaza had grabbed the Blood Blade with its left claw.
Seeing his chance, Long Ming lashed out with a powerful kick to Akaza’s torso.
BAM!
Akaza was sent flying, crashing hard against a metal wall.
But a moment later, Akaza whipped its tail against the ground, using the momentum to scramble back up to the ceiling, where it let out a furious roar at Long Ming.
Long Ming’s expression grew heavier. ’This kind of Alien isn’t just ridiculously strong in close combat; its vitality is just as tenacious. It’s not going to be easy to kill.’
But Long Ming didn’t back down. On the contrary, his blood began to sing with excitement. ’After all, it’s not every day you find such a perfect sparring partner.’
Just then, Akaza dove straight at Long Ming, its sharp blade slicing through the air as it came down.
Long Ming held his breath, his nerves stretched taut. He anticipated the move and dodged!
CRASH!
The sharp blade scraped past Long Ming, gouging the thick metal floor.
Long Ming seized the opening, slashing upward with his blade.
SLICE!
Akaza’s right arm was lopped clean off.
"AARGH!"
Howling in pain, Akaza raised its left claw and swiped at Long Ming.
Long Ming met the attack head-on, extending the sharp claws of his own left hand.
At the same time, Akaza whipped its tail, the sharp tip stabbing toward Long Ming’s head.
CLANG!
Long Ming raised his Blood Blade, blocking the strike with the flat of the blade.
Then, Long Ming slowly raised his head, his own eyes now glowing scarlet as he looked at Akaza.
"My turn."
The next second, Long Ming erupted with Power. A terrifying bloody aura flared from his body as he stomped on the ground and shot past Akaza.
SLICE!
Akaza’s neck was severed, and its head went flying.
Viscous blood sprayed from the stump.
Akaza’s headless body now drifted aimlessly in the zero gravity.
Looking at the defeated Akaza, Long Ming let out a soft sigh. ’Finally dealt with that troublesome bastard.’
He wasn’t particularly happy, though. ’If the entire space station is crawling with Aliens of this level, I should be thinking about how to escape, not what to loot.’
With that thought, he silently raised his wristband to check the location of the extraction point.
He was surprised to find that the extraction point wasn’t inside the station, but out in the starry expanse of space.
After closing the map, Long Ming continued his search. He soon found the passage leading to the station’s central control room.
He proceeded down the passage, exploring cautiously.
「Half an hour later.」
Long Ming arrived at the central control room.
The control room was circular and quite spacious, with rows of consoles arranged in the center.
Gripping his Blood Blade, Long Ming cautiously approached one of the consoles.
He found that nearly half of them were destroyed, their internal wiring spilling out. The remaining consoles were either powered off, crashed, or filled with garbled data.
’There’s no way I can retrieve any data from these.’
He glanced around, noticing bits of flesh, gnawed beyond recognition, floating in the air.
Still, Long Ming patiently began to search. ’Maybe I can find something valuable.’
After searching for a long time, all he found was a single metal card inside a tattered uniform.
He scanned it with his wristband.
Magno Access Card.
Grade: Purple
Long Ming glanced at the information, then left the central control room to search other areas.
「Several hours later.」
Long Ming stood in another large hall, rubbing his temples in frustration.
’I don’t know whether to be happy or sad right now.’
