Chapter 441: Resurrection

Mirabella stared at Bella, stunned for a long time. Everyone stood still, waiting for her words, and after what left like a century, which was only one minute, Mirabella finally opened her mouth:

?"Is that what you truly want?"

?Bella’s ethereal form flickered like a candle in a gentle breeze. There was no hesitation in her aura, only a profound, quiet peace that defied the magnitude of what she was giving up.

?"Yes, you don’t have to tell him about me, just said you find her somewhere, and that’s how it is." Bella said, and continued:

?"And we are actually lucky, his sister has the same height as this body here." She added.

?The silence that followed was thick with unspoken sacrifices.

?Mirabella exhaled, she spent her time building up Celestia, and even going far to merge her powers with a Void Beast. She doesn’t plan to give all this powers to a random girl, so Mirabella will cut off the power connection, move to the void, and tamed the Beast again, turning it into her puppet, that was the only option as of now.

?The Void Beast was a terrifying entity born from the desolate spaces between stars, a creature of pure destruction that consumed light and reality alike. Taming it once had cost Mirabella oceans of energy and blood. Severing the bond meant walking back into the abyss to subdue the primordial terror all over again, a task only a being of her immense caliber could even fathom.

?She planned to give Bella the control over the Beast, to use as she pleases, but Bella doesn’t seem to want that, and Mirabella will never force her.

?Respect for her old friend outweighed her tactical pragmatism. If this was Bella’s final wish, Mirabella would carve reality itself to make it happen.

?"Okay."

?Closing her eyes, Mirabella reached beyond the physical realm, her consciousness diving into the River of Souls—the infinite, swirling current where the dead rested.

?Mirabella followed her memories, and after searching for a moment, she raised her hand, then snapped her fingers.

?WHOOSH!

?The wind before them picked up, and the next moment, a soul appeared before the four, she looks just like Hitachi, but younger, highest 20 years old.

?The translucent figure hovered inches above the floor. Her edges blurred with the silvery mist of the afterlife, violently pulled from eternal slumber into the waking world.

?The lady stared at Mirabella in confusion, then turned to Bella; lastly Celestia and Julian, getting even more confused.

?Julian stood silently by the boulder, a mere observer bearing witness to gods rewriting fate.

?"Are you Hitachi’s younger sister?" Bella asked, with a small smile.

?The lady stared at her. Bella’s body was the same with hers, and she wasn’t a fool; the lady asking her a question was also a soul, just like her, and the other three were humans. The one who summoned her must be one of the three.

?She slowly nodded her head at Bella’s word, clearly still stunned.

?"Alright, what’s your name?" Bella asked again.

?"Monica... Monica Azul." She answered, and asked:

?"Um... What’s going on?"

?Bella smiled, and recounted everything to Monica, explaining that her soul will be placed in the body before her, and she will come back to life.

?"Really?!! I can really come back?!!" Monica yelled in shock, and awe, staring at Bella.

?"Yup, thanks to Lady Mirabella here, you can meet your brother again. But keep everything that happens here a secret, especially me... I don’t want your brother to think he owns me anything, he should just continue his life." She said.

?Bella understood the crushing weight of a life-debt. She wanted Hitachi to live freely, unburdened by the knowledge that a stranger had traded her own eternity for his happiness.

?Monica stared at Bella in surprised, who in their right one will give the opportunity to live again? But still, she will always remember Bella for giving her this second chance.

?"Thank you, Miss Bella!! I will never forget what you have done for my family!! Thanks to you, My brother isn’t the Last Azul clan member!! I will honor you forever!"

?"Oh mine, please, you should also thank Lady Mirabella, she is the main character here." Bella said with a small laugh, then smiled warmly at Mirabella.

?Mirabella exhaled at her, and nodded her head: "Alright, let’s get this going."

?She turned towards Celestia, and placed her hand on her shoulder: "Thank you for holding onto that Beast." She said, and with a small increase in force, she shattered the cosmic chains connecting Celestia and the Void Beast.

?Then turned to Monica, and snapped her fingers again.

?Bella and Julian watched as Monica’s body shattered into white light, and flew towards Celestia, and merged with her forehead.

?The next moment, Celestia’s long golden hair reduced drastically, still it stopped at her back, then its color changed to black. Her golden irises followed, turning into two red ones. Then her face shifted, and in seconds, the Soul’s expression, appeared on Celestia.

?Air rushed into her newly formed lungs. The once vacant, god-like vessel now possessed the distinct, vibrant warmth of a human mortality.

?Mirabella took a step back, as Monica stared at her hands in shock, then at Bella: "I am alive!! I am truly alive!!"

?Without hesitation, she bowed deeply at Bella, then at Mirabella:

?"Thank you!!! Thank you so much!!" She turned to Mirabella:

?"Lady Mirabella, from now onwards, my life is yours!! Whatever you say that’s what I will do!!! If you ask me to jump, I will never run, but jump!!"

?"No need to continue, I heard you already." Mirabella said, stopping her, then turned to Bella.

?"Well, with that taken care of, I should get going now. For good this time." Bella said, a bright smile on her face, then turned to Mirabella:

?"Mirabella, thank you for everything, in this life and the previous one! I will never forget you." She said, as her body shattered into white particles, leaving the three behind.

?’I will never forget you, Bella.’

?Mirabella said, unaware that from that moment on, she was completely unkillable, because someone will always be remembering her for eternity.
