Ivy’s pov

"Get off me!" I screamed terribly trying to fight him off but to no avail.

The skies poured harder, rain beating down on us, water hitting my face as I tried to shove Milo off me. How could I have even considered this bastard a friend?

With the sound of the rain falling, the chances that anyone inside the club would even hear me scream was very low and that had me wheezing harder in panic.

That panic built up and gave way to a white-hot, blinding rage.

I wasn’t just going to let this happen. This could never happen!

With a guttural scream, I slammed my head back, connecting with his nose. It gave a satisfying crunch that echoed through the pouring rain. Milo yelped, his grip loosening for a fraction of a second. It was all I needed.

I drove my elbow back into his ribs, twisting violently in his arms. "Get. Off. Me!" I shoved him with all my might, sending him stumbling back, then lunged forward immediately and kicked him, hard, right between the legs.

"FUCK!"

He let out a choked, high-pitched gasp, his eyes bugging out as he crumpled to his knees on the slippery floor. "You... you bitch," he wheezed, clutching himself.

"I’m a bitch?" I screamed, the sound tearing from my throat as I stood over him, the rain beating down on us hard and heavy, plastering my coat against my skin.

"You’re a pathetic, blackmailing piece of shit who tries to rape women in parking lots!" I kicked him again, my foot connecting with his shoulder, sending him sprawling onto the wet asphalt. I was on him in an instant, kicking, shoving, attacking with everything I had.

"You stupid little bitch, I’ll destroy you. You dare go against me?" He coughed in pain when I drove my heels against his throat, spitting threats.

"Screw you. You’ll destroy me? I will destroy you, Milo! Do you hear me? I will ruin you! I’ll make you fucking regret laying even a finger on me!"

He groaned in pain, trying to crawl away, but I was relentless. The rain poured down, plastering my hair to my face, soaking my coat, but I barely felt it. All I could feel was the hot burning anger and the need to make him pay for even trying to touch me. The bastard had tried to rape me!

He gargled out a laugh, a wet, pained cackle that grated on my nerves. "We’ll see who’s still standing at the end, Ivy," he gasped from the ground, groaning in pain. "We’ll see who’s left when your secrets are all out. It’s over for you. I’ll make sure of it!"

I froze, my foot raised for another kick. His words were like a bucket of ice water, dousing my rage with fear. He could expose me.

He knew it, and I knew it. What he did to Tyler, he could do to me. Well he could try to do it to me. There was no way he could throw me in prison, but all the Knights needed was a little bit of suspicion and some proof and I would be done for.

Now that Gideon already knew it was me in the club, he could start to suspect other things. I wasn’t even wearing my brown contacts so the jig on that was up!

"See?" Milo chuckled, trying to pick himself off the ground. "You should have been obedient but now you’re going to face hell- Shit"

I slammed my foot between his legs again, wanting to crush his tiny dick before turning around and bailing down the parking lot, to the curb to hail a cab.

Several of them usually passed the street at this time and immediately one screeched to a halt, I yanked the yellow door open and practically fell into the back seat, slamming the door just as the driver looked at me, his eyes wide as he took in my soaked, disheveled state.

"Uhh, are you okay Miss?"

"Yeah," I coughed, eyeing the parking lot through the rain-streaked window. Milo got off the floor and was hobbling in the direction of my cab. What in the freaking horror movie? "Drive, Drive!"

"Where to?" he demanded, turning on the engine.

I gave him the address for the hotel, my whole body trembling uncontrollably. I was shaking so hard my teeth chattered.

Milo was out for blood. He wasn’t just going to blackmail me anymore, at least not after tonight. He would definitely match up to Gideon and try to expose me and all they would have to do was call the agency.

I sniffled, fighting the tears as the car rolled down the road, clamping a hand over my mouth. It couldn’t be over like this. I couldn’t disappoint dad and I... God, if Ro or Kai knew that I was a spy, they would be so crushed.

They couldn’t find out like this. I would find a way to tell them but not like this!

*What should I do? What should I do?*

My mind raced trying to think through the noise in my head. Father had said I would have to plant new trackers and listening devices. I already planed some but I made sure to remove them every time I went home this week-

Wait, That was it!

The brothers didn’t suspect Milo was the mole because he was their best friend and their trusted confidant. There was no reason for them to look at him twice. But if evidence appeared that pointed directly to him... then they would shift their attention to him.

For me to remain in the Knight’s house, Milo had to go.

"Change of direction!" I yelled, my voice clear over the sound of the rain and the wipers. "Take me downtown, please,"

The cab driver grumbled but made a sharp U-turn. I directed him to Cody’s office which was also his apartment.

The cab pulled up before the building, I handed some cash to the driver and ran to the door, pounding on it with my fist.

The door finally creaked open, revealing Cody with his messy hair, squinting at me in annoyance. "What the hell, lady? Do you know what time it is?"

"I need your help."
