Chapter 450: Faye’s Announcement

Malo successfully survived whatever wild madness he had just experienced out in the woods. He was finally able to locate the gym doors and barged right inside, breathing heavily like someone who had just barely survived a brutal war.

"Thank goodness I did not die out there tonight..." Malo said, holding his chest tight as his heart pounded against his ribs.

Then he looked straight forward and saw his best friend and her Beta, Bambi, happily eating pizza together, both of them acting like nothing crazy had even happened tonight. They were casually sitting right on the blue gym mat.

"Faye, Bambi..." Malo called out loudly as he walked over toward them, his legs still shaking slightly.

"Hey, bro. Welcome back. You want some pizza?" Faye offered him a slice, but bro was far too busy staring directly at his best friend in total disbelief.

He had so many damn questions rushing through his head right now.

"First of all, I survived. Thank you so much for asking about my well-being. And second of all, I seriously can’t believe your Beta didn’t even come back to save me from those monsters..."

"Look at you, you are right here standing in one piece, so congrats..." Faye gave him a brief little clap, and Bambi quickly followed along, clapping her hands too.

He just stared at the two of them, genuinely wondering if they were even fully aware of what had actually gone down tonight. Then he began wondering if Faye wasn’t even aware of the dangerous Night Walker attack out in the dark.

Malo sat down on the floor, crossed his legs, and grabbed a big slice of pizza from the box. He noticed there were four other full boxes sitting beside them. The dude immediately started eating, swallowing it down fast, and then washed it all down with a large gulp of cold soda.

"So, how are you feeling right now, Malo?" Faye asked, taking another bite of her food.

"Good. This pizza tastes really good. It’s exactly what I need right now after everything that happened today. And by the way, if Princess ever returns and asks what happened in that crazy mind world, please do not call my name at all because I had zero hand in what you and Kiara were doing out there..."

"Don’t worry about it. Princess wouldn’t even know you were present at all."

"Thank you so much... By the way, Bambi has been upgraded to some kind of crazy mutant. You really should have seen the way she knitted her own body back together out of nowhere, and then in a complete flash, she was just gone."

"Yeah, I still can’t believe I actually survived all of that. I felt my own body splitting into two pieces, and the very next thing I knew, I was right back inside the gym holding Faye. It felt like a dream."

"No, it was definitely real..."

"Hahaha!" Faye laughed out loud, shaking her head.

Bambi suddenly remembered something really important.

"Oh my goodness,my girlfriend Kiara and Beam are still out there in the woods. I should probably go find them right now." Bambi quickly stood up on her feet.

"Bambi, there is no need to go back out there. I bet they are already on their way right now," Faye said casually as she continued happily eating her pizza.

Then her phone buzzed with a video call from her girlfriend. She immediately answered and talked to Princess, acting completely normal like everything was totally fine. She didn’t want the possessive Alpha running all the way back to her and finding out that Faye had risked her own life again tonight.

Princess talked all about her long day with her brothers and the little pups. The phone call went on for about two whole hours. Faye quietly listened to Princess without saying much back, just letting the Alpha fully express herself and vent. Then the call finally ended when Princess had to go down for dinner because Leo had personally made dinner for everyone.

"What a sweet brother he is. I really wonder what he made for dinner over there..." Malo said, rubbing his chin.

Faye, who still looked completely confused by the siblings’ weird fake bond, didn’t say a single word back. She just sat there continuously wondering how on earth the Kings were so naturally good at acting and pretending that everything was totally fine between them.

Suddenly, Beam walked straight into the gym holding an unconscious Kiara tightly in her arms. Kiara was wrapped in Beam’s jacket to cover up her naked body.

Beam walked over and handed Kiara right over to Bambi.

"I believe she belongs to you, and I think you should take her straight home now," Beam said, wiping sweat from her brow.

"Okay." Bambi gently took Kiara into her arms, cradling her, and then looked over at Faye.

"Don’t worry about me at all, Bambi. Take her home and make sure she is okay," Faye said smoothly.

"Okay. Good night, everyone."

Everyone inside watched quietly as Bambi carried her out and left the gym. Luckily, Kiara’s car was parked right outside the gym doors, so Bambi easily drove her straight home.

Faye immediately noticed the subtle way Beam was staring outside at the exact spot where Kiara’s car had just pulled away.

"Beam, is everything okay with you?" Faye asked, raising an eyebrow.

"Yeah, everything is totally fine." Beam turned her head around to look at Faye, seeing that she was sitting there perfectly fine. "I see that you are completely fine and totally unharmed."

"Yes, I am. Thank you so much for tonight."

"Sure, you’re very welcome. See you two tomorrow. Good night, both of you."

Beam turned around and left the building, leaving Malo and Faye completely alone inside the empty gym.

"So nobody is going to tell Princess about any of this..." Malo muttered under his breath, shaking his head.

"If you dare say a single word to my girlfriend, I will beat the shit out of you. Do you understand me?" Faye warned him, glaring hard.

"Okay, okay... I’m not telling Princess anything. My phone isn’t even with me right now anyway."

"Whatever, I’m leaving now. Since my girlfriend is not in the house tonight and I cannot sleep in that big place all alone without my pups or my girl, I’m heading over to my brother’s instead. So make sure you lock up, and good night. See you tomorrow..."

Faye stood up off the mat, picked up two remaining boxes of pizza, entered her car outside, and headed straight to Eriko’s house to spend the rest of the night.

The very next morning, Faye woke up early and made a nice breakfast for her brother, Paye, and Eriko.

"I see how it is, you suddenly remember us now that your Alpha girlfriend is out of town..." Eriko teased her with a grin as he walked into the kitchen.

"Why on earth would I ever forget the two most important people in my life?" Faye said smoothly as she sat down at the table to eat.

"See that, Paye? Your little sister hasn’t forgotten about you after all," Eriko said, turning to look at Paye, who just shrugged his shoulders. He was looking super moody today because his son was currently over with Adam, and he was deeply scared that Adam would somehow figure everything out.

Faye quickly noticed her brother’s stressed expression.

"What is wrong with you, brother? Is the toasted bread not crunchy enough for you?" Faye asked softly.

"He is just worried about Kaye, terrified that Adam might figure out that Kaye is actually his biological son," Eriko explained for him.

"Kaye doesn’t even know the truth himself, right? So there is really nothing to worry about..." Faye said, taking a bite.

"I don’t think so at all. When you have Princess and Leo sitting under the same roof, those two are quite the professional detectives. It will take them like two days max to figure it all out simply because of the similarities between Adam and Kaye," Eriko said, shaking his head.

"Well, maybe it’s high time Adam actually knows the truth, right? It would be a really good thing for everyone."

"No, it’s definitely not going to be a good thing at all. He will immediately want my son for himself, and I do not want that to happen, Kaye is mine only." Paye said firmly, his eyes fixed on his plate.

"Okay then, you better just pray hard that they don’t find out over there. So anyway, I have a big announcement to make to you both..." Faye said, staring directly between Eriko and her brother.

"What, are you pregnant again?" Eriko guessed right away with a laugh.

"Hey, you can’t just say something like that to my little sister! The first time was a complete mistake, and I am totally sure she won’t go repeating that exact mistake again so soon. My sister is still a puppy, and she is definitely not as crazy horny as those insane Alphas..."

"I am pregnant..."

Hearing those exact words come straight out of his little sister’s mouth, Paye felt like digging a hole and going deep under the ground. He had just defended her honor, and she immediately proved him wrong in a single second.

"Hohoho! Princess really wants to build a whole football team! Congratulations to you both! And no wonder I found my beer completely safe and untouched in the fridge this morning!" Eriko clapped his hands loudly in pure joy while Paye’s entire face was written in total, silent horror.
