Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 382: Princess Defends Her Girlfriend
Princess stood in a corner of the dining hall, her eyes glued to her phone as she monitored her girlfriend’s location. The screen cast a light shadow over her face, her thumb tapping against the glass while her chest rose and fell in quick, uneasy puffs of air, her heart pounding a steady cadence against her ribs.
She would have called Faye to ease her worries, but Princess happened to have Faye’s phone. Faye had handed it to her before the party to hold onto. Princess shifted her weight on her heels, her fingers tightening around the metal casing of the phone while her breath whistled softly through her nose.
Princess was about to call Faye’s best friend when she was interrupted by Silviana.
Silviana’s heels echoed through the hallway until she stopped beside Princess. The woman stood tall, holding a glass of red wine, her expression calm and composed while her lungs pulled in a smooth, effortless draft of air.
"I see you must be worried about your girlfriend," Silviana said, taking a small sip from her glass as her eyes narrowed with a subtle, icy glint, her posture stiff as stone.
"Just checking on her," Princess replied. She locked her phone screen with a quiet click, holding her broad shoulders high while her lungs pulled in a firm, protective draft of hallway air.
"I thought you said she was with your pups, but I just heard from someone that the pups are with Eriko and her brother, Paye. You should hire a babysitter instead of stressing those l boys." Silviana remarked casually, her voice dropping into a light, fake tone that made Princess’s jaw set hard.
"I don’t think they’re stressed. Matter of fact, they love it when the pups stay with them." Princess countered smoothly, stepping slightly closer while her pulse thumped a heavy, assertive rhythm against her throat.
"Are you sure? You can’t tell what’s inside people’s minds. I have heard..." Silviana began, her hand raising slightly to brush a strand of hair behind her ear while her breath rushed out in a soft, mocking puff.
Princess cut Silviana off and turned to face her. She rounded on her sister-in-law completely, her eyes flashing with cold, lethal authority while her lungs heaved with a large, angry draft.
"You are not my therapist anymore. I don’t need your whispers in my ears. I know the people I trust to take care of my kids. Don’t lecture me on who I should trust." Princess stated firmly, her low voice laced with pure steel as her chest expanded in a dominant, unyielding stance.
"If this is about what happened in the school office..."
"I heard you say you hated my girlfriend. You wanted us to break up. I trusted you. I told you all my demons, and all that time you were trying to destroy what I was building with her behind my back." Princess spat out, her words cutting through the air like sharp glass while her lungs worked in rapid, furious cycles.
On a normal day, Silviana would have sugarcoated her words to stay on Princess’s good side. She would have smoothed down her dress, taken a deep, gentle exhale, and crafted a sweet lie to maintain her polite mask.
But she was done pretending. Her jaw locked tight, her posture going completely rigid while her breath blew out hot and harsh through her nostrils, dropping all pretense of kindness.
Princess was no longer the same girl she could easily manipulate.
Ever since Faye entered her life, she had become stronger. Sweet words were no longer enough.
Princess stood firm, her pulse drumming a powerful, unwavering beat as she stared down the woman without a single sign of hesitation.
"Yes, you’re right. I do not like your girlfriend. She destroyed what my sister was building with you." Silviana declared flatly, setting her wine glass down on a nearby ledge with a sharp clatter while her chest rose in a heavy wave.
"No, she didn’t. Your sister did, and you know it. I did my part. I was loyal, ready to settle down with her just like we planned and help break the curse, just like Adam did for you. But she didn’t want it. If she had, she wouldn’t have done what she did."
"Kiara is not in her right mind. She doesn’t know what she wants. She’s confused. Look, Kiara is a far better match for you than the girl you’re with now. Where is she now? She’s supposed to be by your side, but she isn’t. My sister would always be by your side. You would have the perfect family, living in Solace, the quiet and peaceful life you’ve always dreamed of." Silviana argued passionately, her arms gesturing through the air as her lungs pulled in short, agitated gasps.
"I am living peacefully right now, and it’s with the girl of my dreams." Princess replied, her voice dropping into a quiet, absolute flatline while her chest rose in a slow, peaceful wave.
"Peacefully, Dream girl? With what your girlfriend is? I don’t think you’ll ever live a peaceful life, Princess. She was born with chaos in her blood. Her entire life will be chaos." Silviana sneered, her eyes glittering with bitter contempt while her pulse thuttered violently at her jawline.
"That is why I am the harmony in her life. Stop trying to jeopardize what I have with my girl and our pups. I love the life we have." Princess stated, her posture unshakeable as a deep, loving draft of air filled her lungs, completely shutting down the argument.
Princess turned to leave.
"I wonder what your grandfather will do when I tell him your girlfriend’s true identity," Silviana said. Her harsh voice stopped Princess dead in her tracks, Silviana’s chest expanding with a sharp, malicious breath. "I’m sure he’ll be thrilled enough to have my dear husband do the honor of ripping her heart out."
Princess stopped. Her whole body locked into stone, her breath catching tight in her throat while her blue Alpha aura flickered faintly beneath her skin, her heart hammering a dark, dangerous cadence against her ribs.
She walked back toward Silviana and leaned close to her shoulder. Her footsteps made no sound against the floor as she closed the distance, her low, hot breath brushing right against Silviana’s ear.
"And I wonder what Adam will think when he learns that you’re the real reason he can never have an heir." Princess whispered ruthlessly, her voice smooth as silk while her eyes burned with lethal intensity.
Silviana flinched. Her shoulders snapped backward, her breath tearing out of her mouth in a sharp, horrified gasp while her face went completely pale, her pulse exploding into a chaotic, terrifying sprint.
"Now that I’ve finally seen you for who you truly are, I want you to remember this. If you, or anyone else, tries to destroy the family I have now... I won’t think twice before tearing them apart." Princess warned in a low rumble, her eyes locking onto Silviana’s shaking frame while her lungs pulled in a cold, absolute draft of power.
Princess walked away without another word.
She headed straight for the gym to make sure Faye was alright.
When Princess arrived, she found Faye and Malo...
And someone was lying dead on the gym floor, covered in blood.
