Fuck!!!! I'm Having The Alpha Princess's Baby.
Chapter 294: Why Is Princess Still In The Club(2)
Every year during summer, the Trios went to summer camp. It was mostly Beam and Princess who attended regularly. They were the ones who kept the tradition going, packing their bags every July without fail. But this year none.
There was a particular pair of people who always tried to match them, constantly raising the stakes in every competition and adventure. They were always there at the lake, at the tracks, or in the woods, pushing them to the absolute limit.
Asha Police, an Alpha, and her sidekick Kyle Terrence.
Those two always seemed to get on their nerves whenever they met. Just seeing their faces across a room was enough to make Princess’s blood boil instantly.
"Asha Police of Hickland," Princess said as she looked at her. Her voice was flat, her chest rising and falling slowly as she braced herself for the interaction.
The two girls were inside a private lounge. Several girls surrounded Asha, busy playing cards, while two others sat comfortably on her lap.
Beam simply gazed at Kyle. The guy was smirking at her, his hands tucked loosely into his jacket pockets as he leaned against a velvet couch. Neither of them even bothered to greet the other. They just locked eyes in a silent, icy stare.
"This must be a lucky day for me to set my eyes on you, Princess Kings. Come join us," Asha said. She tilted her head, a confident grin spreading across her face as she gestured toward the empty seat.
"I’m sure it is a very lucky day. I would love to join you in whatever you’re doing, but I have better things to do." Princess turned around to leave.
"Let’s play a game together. Just one round, and then you can go do your important thing," Asha said, making Princess stop and turn back.
"No."
"Obviously, I knew you were going to say that." Asha shrugged. She tossed her cards onto the table, the glossy paper scattering across the green felt.
"That’s what I’ve been telling these girls. Princess Kings has gotten so soft that she didn’t even make it to this year’s summer camp. Mind you, nobody even realized she wasn’t present."
"That is because I had something more important than summer camp." Princess snapped, her eyes narrowing into dangerous slits as she took a half step back into the room.
"What was that? Remind me again."
Asha snapped her fingers dramatically, pretending to think. She rolled her eyes toward the ceiling, a heavy mocking sigh escaping her lips.
"Oh right. Princess Kings changes diapers now!"
She burst into laughter, and the people around her laughed as well. The whole lounge seemed to echo with their giggles, the girls on her lap shaking with amusement as they looked at Princess.
"Yes, you’re right. I do change diapers now, which is far more important than wasting my time with a freeloader. Goodbye." Princess let out a short, cold laugh of her own. Her voice carried a sharp edge that instantly silenced a few of the girls in the back.
Unlike Princess, who earned her own money, Asha spent her parents’ money without a second thought. Everyone in the camp knew she hadn’t worked a single day in her life, living entirely off her family’s name.
Not wanting to let the conversation end, Asha tapped the girls off her lap, stood up, and caught up to Princess.
"One race game wouldn’t hurt."
"Stop begging for my attention," Princess said.
"Why would I beg for your attention? We still have unfinished business."
Asha grinned. She stepped closer, her eyes flashing with a competitive spark that she had been holding onto since the previous summer.
"Last time we never got to do the race because we ran out of time. There’s a cockpit around. Let’s race and see who’s the better driver."
"I would love nothing more than to rub it in your face that I’m a better racer than you, but I’m currently looking for MG. If we meet again, I’ll gladly embarrass you."
"MG? Your bag boy?"
Asha smirked. She tilted her head, her fingers tapping against her thigh as she let out a slow, knowing breath.
"I saw him earlier. Looks like he finally realized you don’t appreciate him and found himself a better deal. He’s with someone much bigger than you now. I’m pretty sure that guy will make him rich within a year."
That finally got Princess’s attention.
"Do you know the Alpha who took him?"
"I do."
Asha rocked back and forth on her heels. She looked incredibly pleased with herself, a smug expression spreading across her face.
"But I won’t tell you unless you play one race with me."
Princess stepped closer. The space between them vanished, the heavy aura of two alphas filling the big room until the air felt hard to breathe.
"If I play one race with you and it turns out you’re wasting my time, I won’t take it lightly."
"Yeah, yeah. Come on, let’s race." Asha turned and led the way toward the back of the lounge where the simulators were lined up.
The two girls sat inside the sim-racing cockpits. The large screens flashed to life, projecting a dark, winding track that twisted across the digital display. Their hands gripped the steering wheels, their feet resting heavily on the pedals.
Meanwhile, Beam and Kyle stood together watching their friends compete. Their eyes moved rapidly between the two glowing screens, watching the digital cars slide around the sharp corners.
Both were discussing who would win. They kept their voices low, their heads leaning slightly toward each other as the race heated up.
What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into a low-key argument. Kyle kept pointing at Asha’s screen, insisting her cornering technique was better, while Beam just snorted and pointed out Princess’s massive lead on the straightaways.
Princess won the first race. She let out a short breath, her fingers loosening from the wheel as her car crossed the finish line with a loud digital roar.
She smirked at Asha, making sure the Alpha saw it. She leaned back in her racing seat, her eyes locking onto her opponent’s frustrated face.
Asha refused to accept defeat and demanded another round. She slammed her hand against the dashboard, her breathing turning jagged as she reset the track.
Then another.
And another.
Victory was written all over Princess’s face. She won every single match, her fingers moving flawlessly over the gear shifts without making a single mistake.
Failure was painted across Asha’s. Her face went red, a thin layer of sweat breaking out on her forehead as she pushed the virtual car too hard, spinning out on the final turns.
Neither girl realized that a crowd had started gathering around them. Other club patrons had stepped out of the card rooms, their murmurs growing louder as they watched the intense battle.
People began cheering for Princess.
Asha immediately regretted challenging her in a public place. She kept her eyes glued to her screen, her teeth digging into her lip as the humiliating scoreboards flashed her defeat for everyone to see.
Things were going extremely well for Princess until two girls suddenly leaned against her, trying to get her attention. They stepped right into her booth space, their long hair brushing against her shoulder as they tried to congratulate her on the win.
Princess instantly stood up from the simulator and brushed off her clothes as if the girls had contaminated her.
The girls looked offended. They blinked in confusion, their mouths dropping open as they stood by the empty simulator seat.
But Princess knew exactly what kind of girlfriend she had. She could already picture Faye’s eyes flashing with fury, her fists clenching as she ranted about other people touching her alpha.
She wasn’t interested in spending the next three days explaining to Faye why two random girls were hanging all over her.
