"This is the compensation. Have it delivered to me within one month," Li Yang said coldly, looking at Yuan Lan.

Li Yang had no intention of letting the Yuanlan Clan off easy. However, he couldn't just kill Yuan Lan, as there was no evidence that Yuan Lan had acted against Earth.

Everyone could see the screen. The Deities present were all stunned as they looked at the conditions displayed.

'Li Yang is ruthless. Yuan Lan had prepared the majority of his assets to save Tianluo, but Li Yang killed him anyway. Now he still wants most of the Yuanlan Clan's assets!'

'Ruthless? I think it's perfectly normal. You think Yuan Lan didn't know Tianluo was targeting Earth?'

'That's right. I think Li Yang is being too rational. If it were me, I'd have just killed Yuan Lan. Even without evidence, who could stop me?'

The many Deities had their own thoughts on the matter.

At this moment, Yuan Lan was also looking at the exorbitant compensation demand. His expression shifted several times before he finally said in a low voice, "My Yuanlan Clan was in the wrong this time. I will gather the compensation Young Master Li Yang requires as soon as possible."

"Good," Li Yang said indifferently.

He had killed Tianluo and demanded enormous compensation from the Yuanlan Clan. He knew Yuan Lan must hate him to the bone, but Li Yang didn't care in the slightest. There were plenty of people who wanted to kill him. Just as the Blade Slaughter Sect Master had said, once word of his twelve-step ladder Talent spread, countless Alien Races would want him dead as quickly as possible.

He wasn't afraid. As long as his power continued to grow, none of it would matter.

As long as he was alive, Yuan Lan wouldn't dare to make the slightest move.

The surroundings grew quiet. Nearly all eyes turned to the indifferent-looking young man at the center. The gazes fixed on Li Yang were constantly changing.

Before, Li Yang was merely a talented prodigy with potential in everyone's eyes. But the events of today had clearly changed their impression of him, even adding a trace of fear.

'We can't afford to provoke Earth.'

With the Yuanlan Clan's example before them, the same thought sprouted in the minds of everyone present.

"Haha, Little Junior Brother, you have to come visit your Senior Brother's residence this time."

The surroundings were silent when Jun Yue's voice suddenly rang out.

He had a smile on his face as he looked at his Little Junior Brother, Li Yang, feeling an even greater sense of camaraderie.

When dealing with someone like Tianluo, you had to kill them outright. If it were him, he would have made the same decision as Li Yang.

As for the Yuanlan Clan, he felt Li Yang's punishment was too light. He, Jun Yue, had a personality similar to the Blade Slaughter Sect Master—he enjoyed killing.

"Alright," Li Yang said with a smile.

"But I have something to discuss with Minister Kanobu."

"Oh? What is it that Young Master Li Yang wishes to discuss with me?" Minister Kanobu asked with a smile.

After speaking with Minister Kanobu, Li Yang went to visit Jun Yue's residence.

He didn't stay long, however, and soon prepared to leave.

As he was leaving, Jun Yue gave him something.

"Eleventh Senior Brother, what is this?"

Li Yang looked at the stone in front of him.

The stone was entirely black, covered in numerous patterns that looked like dragon scales.

As a whole, it resembled a small, young insect.

"This is a Dragon Scale Insect," Jun Yue said with a smile.

"A Dragon Scale Insect?" Li Yang was a bit puzzled. He didn't know anything about it.

"Little Junior Brother, the name 'Dragon Scale Insect' makes it sound like a living creature, but it's actually a type of stone. Dragon Scale Stones form around a Dragon Scale Insect, and this insect is the very core of those stones."

Jun Yue explained to Li Yang, "The Dragon Scale Insect is a very rare treasure. It's rumored to exist only in the core regions of certain planets."

"And this Dragon Scale Insect can be refined."

Hearing this, Li Yang's heart skipped a beat. He had just been wondering if the Dragon Scale Insect was some kind of precious ore.

Jun Yue continued, "Refining a Dragon Scale Insect can greatly boost one's power! For example, if someone at the Peak of World Realm were to refine this Dragon Scale Insect, their strength would likely increase fivefold!"

"What?"

Hearing this, Li Yang's eyes revealed a trace of shock.

The Peak of World Realm... that's only one step away from becoming a Deity. One could only imagine how powerful they were!

And yet, refining this tiny stone could increase their power fivefold. That was just too absurd.

Jun Yue smiled and said, "Although the power boost is immense, refining it is extremely difficult. The Dragon Scale Insect is incredibly hard; even Deities can't break it. As for refining it... that depends on luck."

"Luck?" Li Yang was puzzled again.

"That's right. Some people find it relatively easy to refine a Dragon Scale Insect, perhaps refining most of it in just a few hundred years. Others might spend an enormous amount of time and not even refine a tiny fraction of it. As for why, I'm not too sure."

Jun Yue sighed. "A treasure like this is bound to have some secrets."

He wasn't particularly interested, though. At his level of power, refining a Dragon Scale Insect was useless.

A fivefold boost for someone at the Peak of World Realm was a trivial increase for a Tri-System Deity like him.

"Also, I found this in Tianluo's Spatial Ring," Jun Yue said.

'Tianluo's Spatial Ring?' Li Yang's heart stirred.

He suddenly remembered that Tianluo had been targeting Earth because he wanted a certain treasure on one of the planets nearby.

As for what that treasure was, he wasn't sure.

This treasure was so valuable that Tianluo, who had just emerged from the Third Prison with the legacy of a Dual Pantheon, immediately went to that planet to take it.

One could only imagine how precious that treasure must be.

And according to Jun Yue, the Dragon Scale Insect grew inside planets. Could it be that what Tianluo wanted was the Dragon Scale Insect?

If it was the Dragon Scale Insect, then everything made perfect sense.

A treasure that could increase a Peak World Realm expert's power fivefold... any World Realm practitioner would go absolutely insane for it.

As if knowing what Li Yang was thinking, Jun Yue smiled and said, "I asked Tianluo. He got this Dragon Scale Insect from a planet in your Solar System, Junior Brother. So now, it's being returned to its rightful owner."

He handed the Dragon Scale Insect to Li Yang.

"So it really was..." Li Yang accepted the small, insect-like stone.

It was this very stone that had caused Tianluo to constantly target Li Yang, leading to their conflict that had lasted until now.

...

After leaving Jun Yue's residence, Li Yang headed back toward the Milky Way Galaxy.

Inside the spacecraft, Li Yang stared at the stone before him.

He suddenly asked with his consciousness, "Soul Ink, do you know the origin of the Dragon Scale Insect?"

Earlier, it was clear that even Jun Yue knew very little about the Dragon Scale Insect and was unaware of its secrets.

Jun Yue was a Tri-System Deity, yet even he didn't know. What kind of secret could this tiny Dragon Scale Insect possibly hold?

"I know a little."

Soul Ink's voice echoed in his mind, "The Dragon Scale Insect is not something a planet nurtures naturally. It's related to a very powerful life form."
