Chapter 1506 - 1521: Unimaginable
Chapter 1506: Chapter 1521: Unimaginable
Lin Junyang’s throat moved as he dryly swallowed some saliva. He finally resigned himself to fetching a cup and chrysanthemum tea at the water dispenser and brewed himself a cup.
Turning to see the shameless pair at the desk, he coughed heavily twice.
Lin Ruonan finally turned around, as if she had just seen him. "Oh, right, I almost forgot. Your house is finished being renovated, all done according to your instructions. I went to check it out a few days ago, and it looks great."
Lin Junyang sighed speechlessly. Heaven hasn’t let me down, letting you remember me after all. He came today because he received a call from Brother saying his house was finished and he came to get the keys.
Unexpectedly, upon arriving, he not only had a serving of PDA, but was also thoroughly ignored by this heartless couple.
It seems, at crucial moments, Sister is the one to rely on. If he were counting on Brother, who gave him half a glance since he walked in, he might end up spending the entire afternoon without remembering why he came.
Sure enough, Gu Haoyu, upon hearing Lin Ruonan’s words, took out a bunch of keys from the drawer and tossed them to Lin Junyang.
"Take another look. If any changes are needed, just tell Assistant Qi." After saying that, he gave Brother another half glance, as his tender and pampered gaze fell back on his wife.
Having received the keys, Lin Junyang put down the chrysanthemum tea in his hand. "Alright then, I won’t interrupt your lovey-dovey time any longer. I’ll go check out my house."
Without the farewell he expected, Lin Junyang still gave them an elegant departing silhouette.
He knows the house that Gu Haoyu bought for him; Assistant Qi initially selected three places at Yujing Garden. He personally checked them out and chose this villa near Second Brother’s house, complete with a garden and swimming pool.
However, the previous owner’s décor was rather Chinese style, so it was redone.
Arriving at the villa, the original red wooden door had been replaced with a wrought iron gate intertwined with vines. Through the gate, one could immediately see the pure white little building before them.
It’s fortunate that the villas here all have a European-style architecture; the courtyard layout is also European. Destroying all the original owner’s Chinese-style decorations to renovate it in sync with the courtyard’s design was a good move.
Growing up at the Lin Family’s old house, accustomed to Chinese décor, he began to favor European architecture at some unknown point, likely because of its simplicity and elegance.
Opening the door, a pathway connects the front door to the garage, surrounded by extensive greenery.
It’s currently winter, the trees are bare, and the grass is long since yellowed. However, he can imagine what a scene it will be when spring arrives.
A winding path through the lawn leads directly to the back of the villa. He knows the backyard is a small garden, even with a greenhouse. He isn’t sure if the idiot will like it, but from what he knows of the idiot, how could she fuss with plants being so carefree?
Especially imagining the sight of her in a ladylike outfit fiddling with flowers in winter in the greenhouse is just too eye-scorching, unimaginable.
Lin Junyang shook his head and continued walking inside the house.
The interior had changed completely. The blueprint was drawn per his requests, and seeing the image of his home in his mind perfectly constructed by others brought an unexplainable warmth to his heart. He even envisioned that woman walking towards him on the pure white stairs.
