Chapter 1321: Chapter 1320: Grateful to Have You in This Life

"Moreover, I will hire two nannies for you."

The relationship between Nia Mitchell and Molly Harguez wasn’t good, but after all, Molly Harguez was Nia Mitchell’s mother in name.

If Nia Mitchell were here, logically, she should take care of Molly Harguez.

However, if she just took a look and left, it would affect Nia Mitchell’s reputation.

Given that, arranging two nannies before leaving should avoid any impact.

"There’s no need, I can take care of her here."

As soon as he heard about hiring nannies, Nia’s father refused.

He wasn’t from a wealthy family, having never used such a service.

Moreover, he had hands and legs, able to take good care of Molly Harguez.

"You shouldn’t refuse."

Maxwell Peary didn’t give him a chance to oppose and decided right then.

Even though Maxwell Peary didn’t express all of his thoughts, everyone could sense the meaning behind his words.

It’s feared that Maxwell was concerned about the injuries Nia’s father hadn’t recovered from, and Aldy Mitchell’s leg was injured, making it inconvenient.

Now, the only healthy person, Molly Harguez was lying here.

If they didn’t hire two nannies, how would the three of them manage?

Wouldn’t they be exhausted?

Maxwell’s words left no room for refusal, and soon enough, it was finalized.

"Tomorrow morning, come back to Capital Town with me."

He definitely wouldn’t leave Nia Mitchell alone here.

Nia Mitchell nodded; she listened to Maxwell in everything, knowing her uncle acted in her best interest.

"If you all have matters to attend to, leave with peace of mind. We will take care of ourselves here."

Nia’s father knew Nia Mitchell would be worried about this place, so he spoke comforting words.

"Alright then, if anything happens, remember to call me."

Nia Mitchell smiled at her father, noticing he seemed to have aged quite a bit.

The two of them didn’t linger long at the hospital. Maxwell Peary took Nia Mitchell to a nearby hotel.

"Nia, those photos I showed you before, do you remember them?"

Nia Mitchell frowned and shook her head.

For some reason, she couldn’t recall them at all.

Maybe the person didn’t leave a deep impression on her.

Seeing her looking like this, Maxwell Peary gently touched her hair.

"If you can’t remember, don’t force yourself. You still have an injury on your head."

The lump on her head was now more visible, as it had turned blue.

Nia’s father must have seen it too; it’s uncertain if he mentioned it to Nia Mitchell.

"Let me help you with your wound."

Maxwell Peary picked up the first aid kit he had taken from the hotel and squatted down to roll up her pant leg.

Carefully, he removed the bandage, revealing a scabbed wound.

"The area around your knee is the most severe. You need to pay attention, especially now that it’s scabbed, walk less, or it might crack open, understand?"

Maxwell thoroughly disinfected the wound before wrapping it in a new bandage again.

"From now on, you probably won’t need to disinfect it. Over-frequent disinfection may hinder the healing process."

Maxwell Peary was more than capable of handling this wound.

"I will take good care of myself."

Nia Mitchell looked at Maxwell Peary’s tired eyes, feeling a deep sense of compassion.

She pulled Maxwell to sit beside her, then gently wrapped her arms around his waist.

"Uncle, thank you for always staying with me."

Often, she wondered how fortunate she was to have met Maxwell Peary.

"Silly, why say thank you."

It’s supposed to be for a lifetime.
