Chapter 412: Kiss Me
Chapter 412: Kiss Me
James knew she was angry with him because of his mischief just now, so he was helpless. When they were passing by the cinema, he remembered something. "Oh, no," he murmured, and then he suddenly braked and stopped the car on the side of the road. Yvonne wondered what was wrong, so she turned her head to look at him and asked, "What’s the matter?"
James looked upset and said, "I promised the two kids I will return the school uniforms to them before the movie finishes."
"..."
James glanced at the time and said, "There are still five minutes left. I think we can make it." Yvonne didn’t say anything but reached out to take off the school uniform, but James stopped her, He smiled, "There is no rush. We still have five minutes left. We can wear them a little longer."
Yvonne frowned, "It will take more than five minutes for us to get to the cinema from here."
"They can wait a while."
"No, we can’t let them wait because they will have to go to school tomorrow."
"Then... how about we take a picture before returning the clothes to them?"
Seeing Yvonne’s puzzled eyes, he quickly explained, "We can keep the photo as a memento."
Yvonne thought it made sense because there might not be such a chance in the future, so she nodded. James suggested, "The light in the car is not good. Let’s go outside to take the picture." Yvonne said nothing but followed him out of the car. The two walked to the curbside. James had sharp eyes and found a good place for taking pictures, so he quickly pulled Yvonne over. James glanced backward and said, "Let’s take the picture here. The scenery matches our school uniforms."
Yvonne followed his gaze and found that it was a shop window of a toy shop, with a whole set of pink Barbie dolls inside, which looked very pretty. James fiddled with his phone, not satisfied with her posture, so he said, "Not good. You should kiss me." Yvonne frowned, "You wish!"
He said, "Just a kiss, come on..."
Without getting Yvonne’s agreement, he hooked her into his arms and pursed his lips. Although there were only a few pedestrians on the street now, they all cast curious looks at them when seeing James act like this. Yvonne felt awkward. James urged, "Hurry up, time is limited."
Hearing that, Yvonne forced herself to stand on her toes and kiss him on the lips. But James said, "It was too fast! I failed to catch it." Yvonne was speechless, "Enough! We’re on the street now, and people are all watching." She was very embarrassed.
"So what? We’re married. Why are you so shy?" As he was speaking, he lifted her chin and kissed her again in full view. "Look, high school students are making out in
public. How can they do this on the street? They are still too young!"
"Yeah! Their parents must get angry if they see this." People around were murmuring about them. Yvonne quickly pushed him away and said, "It’s all your fault." She blushed scarlet. James chuckled and embraced her, saying, "Let them say whatever they want to say. They are jealous of us."
Yvonne was still trying to hide her blushing face and said nothing. "Are you still angry with me?" James asked softly. Yvonne shook her head. She had long cooled down, and she had been pretending to be angry just now because she wanted him to know he should never do such a thing in the future. Afterward, the two went to the cinema to return the school uniforms.
...
To apologize, James especially gave the kids two meal vouchers from the cafeteria of the seven -star hotel. "I’m hungry too. Shall we also go to fetch something to eat?" he asked, waving the meal vouchers at her. Yvonne could only nod. When they finished supper in the hotel cafeteria, it was already midnight. Seeing her yawning, James knew she must be very sleepy, so he suggested, "Let’s live here tonight. Anyway, Mom is not at home tonight."
Yvonne was so sleepy that she didn’t refuse, and then she followed James into a hotel room. The interior decoration of the room was fancy, and it looked more luxurious than the bedroom at home. She wondered secretly whether this was a presidential suite. James knew what she was thinking, so he explained, "This is my exclusive room here. I used to stay for a few days occasionally."
Before?
In other words, he had never come after getting married? Yvonne looked around, and her gaze fixed on the floor-to -ceiling windows. This room was on the 20th floor. Wasn’t he afraid of heights? Why had he chosen a room with floor-to-ceiling windows? Seeing saw her in a daze, James asked, "What are you looking at?"
Yvonne said, "The night view of Tomaville. How beautiful it is! Look!" "Have you forgotten I’m afraid of heights?" James frowned.
"Then why did you choose this room?" Yvonne looked at him suspiciously. James’s eyes flashed with cunning, and he smiled meaningfully, "Do you think I will let others know my weakness?"
Yvonne was taken aback after realizing something, so she asked, "Well, am I the first to know?" James stared at her, smiling, and then he slowly corrected, "You’re the only one." The only one who knew his weakness. His eyes were shining brightly, and Yvonne saw herself in them. Suddenly, she couldn’t help feeling sorrow, and she had an urge to cry.
She said, "Then if you want to see such scenery in the future, you can hide behind me." Fearing that he would notice she was about to weep, she hurriedly turned around.
"Like this?"
He hugged her from behind, resting his chin on her shoulder. They stood in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows, enjoying the beautiful night view of Tomaville for a while. Then, James let go of her and asked, "How is it? Does it feel good to avoid drinking the medicine?"
Yvonne paused and then chuckled, "If your mom hears it, her feelings will be hurt." James disagreed, "But I have to talk to her. When she comes back, no matter how you persuade me, I must make it clear to her that I will not allow you to drink that medicine anymore because pregnancy should be a natural thing. Moreover, I’m worried about the safety of that medicine. I don’t want you to be hurt."
With that, her heart sank. She thought even if she wanted to drink it, his mother
probably would not give her the chance. She sighed inwardly. Before going to bed, the two naturally made love. Fortunately, it didn’t last for too long.
In the night, sleep eluded Yvonne, so she looked at James’s quiet sleeping face, who was lying beside her. She couldn’t help but stretch out her hand and slowly touch his face. His eyebrows, his eyes, the bridge of his nose, and his lips... She found that he looked different when he was asleep.
...
James was so tall and strong, and he appeared invincible at work as if he could solve all problems. But when he fell asleep, he looked so harmless and even made her feel protective. Did he leave his most vulnerable side to her? He must trust her very much. But why her? Did she deserve his trust? Thinking of this, she slowly withdrew her hand. She didn’t know the answer to this question.
Therefore, she stopped thinking about it and closed her eyes, but she still couldn’t fall asleep, so she sat up. She got out of bed cautiously, avoiding waking him up. She didn’t put on the slippers but stepped on the floor barefoot, walking out slowly. In the middle of the night, James turned over and felt the other side of the bed was empty. So, he slowly opened his eyes and found that she was not in the bed. He was startled and got up to look around, only to find Yvonne on the balcony.
She was standing there wearing only a thin dressing gown, looking petite, and the night wind was blowing. James frowned, quickly took a blanket from the bed, and wrap her up, saying, "Don’t catch a cold."
Yvonne looked back and saw him, and then she apologized, "I’m sorry I woke you up." "It’s nothing. Do you have difficulty falling asleep?" James asked.
Yvonne lowered her head and said, "Yes."
"Do you want to talk with me?." He simply leaned against the railing. The wind was blowing lightly with a hint of coolness. Yvonne paused, shared the blanket with him, and slightly smiled, "What shall we talk about?"
Hearing this, James stared at her. Since he had seen her standing here alone, he had wanted to know what she was thinking. Now, he saw a lot of worry in her eyes. "Talk about something you are interested in. For example, what were you thinking about when you stood here alone?"
When she heard these words, the smile on her lips suddenly froze. For fear of being seen through by him, she hurriedly forced a laugh, "What about you guess what I was thinking?" But when their eyes met, she couldn’t laugh anymore. His eyes were deep as if he could read her mind. When he was staring at her, his pupils contracted little by little as if he had already seen her through.
Yvonne couldn’t help but feel guilty, and she thought he had known something. She suddenly became a little flustered and quickly looked away, not daring to look into his eyes. Suddenly, James said, "I guess..."
As her eyes met his dark eyes, her heart was almost brought to her mouth. When she thought he had discovered something, he suddenly changed the topic, "I guess you were thinking about yummy food." Yvonne breathed a sigh of relief. A false alarm.
"Yes, you are right." She was glad that he didn’t find out the truth. James smiled, "I was just kidding. Tell me the truth. What were you thinking about just now?"
He then stopped smiling. Yvonne lowered her eyes and said, "I was thinking about something I am interested in."
"What is it?"
He felt ashamed because he did not know what she liked, although he loved her so much. Yvonne glanced at him meaningfully before she pursed her lips and coughed, "I... am interested in human bodies." "Human bodies?" James opened his mouth in surprise, "Did I get it wrong?"
