Chapter 2551: Chapter 355

"Momo, do you want to come home with me?"

Ye Zhan whispered in her ear, his warm breath tickling her ear, causing her body to shiver slightly.

"No."

Momo shook her head, seriously pushing away the man who kept flirting with her.

"You should go back; Yi Ze is in G City, and you shouldn’t just not meet him."

Ye Zhan chuckled, kissed Momo softly on the lips, and gently stroked her smooth hair, "I’ll come pick you up for a run tomorrow morning."

"Alright."

This is something she can agree to.

Momo also felt her health was not great, relying solely on medicine and dietary supplements wasn’t enough; proper exercise was necessary.

Seeing the man in front of her care about her well-being more than herself, a warm feeling subtly filled her heart.

Her gaze at him unfolded with a smile.

"Get in the car."

Ye Zhan probably realized that no matter how much he flirted, he couldn’t entice Momo to go home with him, so he sighed softly and warmly said, "Momo, you go inside."

After Momo walked into the villa, he finally walked over to the Range Rover a few steps away, opened the car door, and got in.

——

At the night market.

Wen Qinghuan looked at Feng Yize eating heartily, without a trace of elegance and sophistication, and couldn’t help but ask, "Is it really that good?"

Feng Yize raised his head, beaming at her and nodding, "Yes, it truly is delicious. Qinghuan, you should try it."

As he spoke, he didn’t stop moving.

A piece of fish was offered to Qinghuan’s lips, Feng Yize’s charming eyes smiling warmly as he coaxed softly, "Qinghuan, you should taste it, it really smells and tastes great."

Qinghuan stared blankly at the fish offered to her lips.

The enticing fragrance wafted into her nose.

She knew the grilled fish here was excellent.

She came here often.

But she had said she wouldn’t eat, only treat him to dinner.

"Qinghuan."

Feng Yize patiently waited for her.

Unable to resist the temptation of delicious food, Qinghuan swallowed hard, "I’ll eat on my own."

"Just taste it first."

Feng Yize’s smile deepened, contrasting with the dimmer night market lights, as Qinghuan hesitated upon seeing him still holding out the chopsticks. She eventually opened her mouth.

"Is it good?"

Joy bubbled in Feng Yize’s heart.

"Delicious."

Fearing Feng Yize would feed her more, Qinghuan quickly picked up her chopsticks.

Seeing this, Feng Yize chuckled again, still considerately deboning the fish for her although he didn’t feed her directly.

"Why are you eating only the parts with small bones?"

Qinghuan had been lost in thought earlier, not paying much attention to Feng Yize. Now, seeing the deboned fish placed on her plate, she looked at the fish plate and noticed.

Feng Yize grinned, "I was worried you’d want to eat more later, so I started with the parts with more bones."

"Don’t give it all to me; you haven’t eaten much. Eat more yourself."

Wen Qinghuan paused, watching Feng Yize’s radiant smile, a strange, undefined emotion stirring in her heart.

"Okay, let’s eat together."

Feng Yize picked out all the bone-free fish for her, then lowered his head to tackle what was left.

"Let’s grill another one, or maybe some other food."

Wen Qinghuan felt bad inside.

One grilled fish isn’t much.

"No need, we agreed only to eat within the delivery budget, this already exceeds it." Feng Yize refused seriously.

"It’s alright, eat whatever you like."

"Okay, let’s just grill two vegetable skewers then." Feng Yize thought for a moment and said.

Wen Qinghuan nodded.

"Qinghuan, when does your studio open?"

After dinner, while driving back to the Bai Family, Feng Yize walked backward in front of Wen Qinghuan to face her.

Unlike Ye Zhan, Chu Junming, and Tang Jinchen, he lacked a certain elegance and aristocratic grace.

He was more humorous and fun, making girls happy.

Wen Qinghuan was still recovering from his earlier joke when she heard him ask. She blinked, "Next month."

"Alright."

"Feng Yize, stop walking backward, behind you..."

Before Qinghuan finished speaking, Feng Yize stepped on a discarded banana peel left by someone without public decency.

His handsome face transformed, and his outstretched arms couldn’t save himself as his tall body lost balance and fell backward.

"..."

Qinghuan didn’t have time to think and instinctively reached out to grab him.

Unfortunately, her strength wasn’t enough; not only couldn’t she stop Feng Yize, but she was pulled and lost her balance, falling over him.

Feng Yize’s fall was slowed by two seconds thanks to Qinghuan, but he still landed firmly on the ground, Qinghuan collapsing onto him.

At some point, his arm circled her slender waist, "Qinghuan, are you hurt?"

Feng Yize, the fool.

Such an ambiguous, once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, didn’t seize the chance to flirt but was quicker than the girl who fell on him, anxiously inquiring.

He forgot he was the one pinned underneath, cushioning her.

His mind only concerned with whether Qinghuan was hurt.

Qinghuan assessed herself, finding no pain anywhere.

She lifted her gaze to meet Feng Yize’s worried eyes, and only then did she realize their awkward situation, causing her pale face to flush.

"I’m fine, let’s get up first."

Fortunately, there was no one around.

Otherwise, it would be utterly humiliating.

Qinghuan climbed off Feng Yize, seeing him still lying on the ground, his handsome brows furrowed, she immediately frowned in concern, "Feng Yize, why aren’t you getting up? Did you hurt yourself?"

"Help me up."

"Oh."

Qinghuan reached out to help him.

Feng Yize grabbed her hand, muttering gloomily, "I think I hit my head; could it have made me dumb?"

"Do you still remember who you are?"

Watching him, Wen Qinghuan couldn’t help but laugh.

Feng Yize sat on the ground, eyes focused on Qinghuan’s smiling face, softly said, "I forgot my name but I know you’re Qinghuan."

"Then you can get up when you remember it, I’m leaving."

Qinghuan shook off his hand and turned to leave.

Seeing this, Feng Yize quickly jumped up, catching up to Qinghuan in a few steps, "Qinghuan, I remembered, wait for me."

Qinghuan turned her head to glare at him, continuing forward.

"Qinghuan, don’t I look silly when I fell?"

After dusting off himself, Feng Yize continued, "Help me draw a picture of it; illustrate how I fell, so I remember to avoid such mistakes."

"I warned you not to walk backward from the start."

Qinghuan smiled and said she had warned him before, not to walk backward.

Feng Yize blinked his romantic eyes, silently contradicting: It’s not the walking backward that’s regrettable; it’s regret for not holding you longer during this perfect opportunity.
