Chapter 951 - 951: Turning The Page
“Alright, husband! We’ve had two whole months off, so I’m really going to let you have it today, alright? No holding back!”
It was midday, and Abaddon was still rubbing his eyes sleepily. Even after Seras let him go back to bed, he couldn’t sleep properly because she couldn’t or wouldn’t stop shaking from the excitement.
At first light, she had Valerie make her and her husband some dry-fit underwear to move around in.
Now, she was awake and as chipper as a kid on a Saturday morning. She had spent the last dozen moments stretching while Abaddon fantasized about fluffy pillows and cold bedsheets.
“Babe, wake up!” Seras snapped.
“I’m up, I’m up…” Abaddon yawned as he finally stopped swaying back and forth. “Just curious though, have I done something wrong as a husband that you’re this enthused about getting to hit me in the face..?”
Seras rubbed her chin as she thought up something to be mad about. It didn’t take her long at all. “Other than calling me an insecure, whiny little bitch-baby in front of our new wife?”
“That… doesn’t feel like what I said at all?” Abaddon scratched his head.
“It’s basically the same!”
Seras finally finished stretching and stood up on top of the lake. Her feet tapped along the surface as she cracked her knuckles impatiently.
She could barely suppress the smile that formed on her face as she hopped up and down.
“I’m all done! Ready, set, go!”
Seras charged at Abaddon at the speed of light. The shock of her feet moving against the surface of the water was almost enough to vaporize it.
She threw out her foot and aimed directly for Abaddon’s chest.
He sleepily turned his body to the side. Holding his arms out, he caught Seras in a tight embrace and nuzzled his face in her neck.
“Why can’t we just go back to bed and-“
“No!”
Seras wrapped her tail around her husband’s neck and whirled his body around in the air overhead.
After a hellish spin cycle, she flung his body across the lake like a runaway fastball.
Abaddon’s body soared through the air with a dry look on his face.
Seras lunged into the air just within his field of view. He found himself wondering what exactly led to his developing an attraction to insane, violent, mature women.
…Not that he would want to be any other way, of course. He was just curious.
“DIE!”
An explosion blew all the water clear out of the lake.
At the bottom of the lakebed, Abaddon was holding the pointy end of Seras’ spear between his palms and wearing a grim look.
“‘Die’? What’s that all about..?”
For just a moment, Seras’ eyes lost their intensity, and she smiled apologetically.
“O-Okay, I got a little bit carried away there, I’ll admit.”
“I’m telling Lisa.”
“You better not!”
Abaddon swept Seras’ legs out from underneath her. His goal was to hopefully put her in a submission hold and end this all in short order.
Perhaps because Seras knew that, she didn’t allow her body to hit the ground.
Instead, she became a mass of blood that defied gravity.
Their form shifted into thousands of bright red needles that could pierce magical metal.
Seras barely gave her husband any time to avoid being pierced all over. If he hadn’t jumped in time, she surely would have stabbed him.
Seras reformed, but her body was completely different from before.
Her entire body was comprised of a fearsome red visage. Blood, fire, and exploding nebulas all made up the surface of her ‘skin’.
She had no mouth, no ears, and her eyes were like two glowing white lightbulbs.
Her hair had taken on a life of its own. It now resembled a large tentacle covered in gaping mouths, teaming with sharp teeth.
Like their son K’ael, she had another mouth on her chest just beneath her breasts.
The tremendous amount of heat she was putting out was burning the oxygen out of the air.
In simultaneous fashion, moisture began raining down from the sky. Though it was too red and thick to be regular water…
It was no wonder that Seras was worried about cutting loose in front of Izanami. She had turned the pinnacle of beautiful landscapes into a horror show.
It takes a special, or rather insane, person to still love someone who can do things like that.
‘…Hot.’
Abaddon was one such degenerate. And he was currently developing some very degenerative fantasies. All of which Seras could hear.
It was strange to see a being that looked like Seras become bashful, but such a thing indeed took place. She shyly twirled her toes against the dirt as her cheeks became a minor shade redder.
“T-The quicker you do this right, the quicker we can go back to bed and do… whatever you want.”
Suddenly, it was like Abaddon was brimming with new energy.
He smiled as his skin turned pitch black before it burned away, and he took on a familiar ethereal red form.
“Remember what you said now. I promise that I won’t let you get away from me no matter how…”
Just like that, fragmented memories began to show up in Abaddon’s mind.
For a few seconds, Wukong’s visage was replaced with Seras’. He almost dropped out of the air on accident from his lapse in concentration.
As soon as he regained control of himself, he shook his head hard and rubbed his temples.
“Are you alright?” Seras called.
Her voice sounded so far away for a moment. It was disorienting.
‘No, no…. We’re on a new path now. We’re doing things differently.’
Abaddon calmed himself down in quick fashion and clasped his hands together.
Four pairs of wings unfolded from his back. The cursed wheel of Fortuna spun in circles above his head.
At the tip of each point, a different element flickered to life.
Seras had seen her husband in just about every light over the course of an extremely long marriage.
She recognized at a glance when her husband was trying to turn a page.
Though exactly what he was trying to step into, she had no idea.
Abaddon folded his arms across his chest and waited.
His gaze met hers for a moment. Confident and unwavering. Seemingly waiting for her to take the first step. Seras wouldn’t keep him waiting.
Shev vanished from her position and reappeared in the air beside her husband. At near-instant speed.
She lashed out at him with her hair, intending to take his head clean off.
However, Abaddon vanished before she could reach him and reappeared a short distance away.
Beside him, four enormous holes opened up in the sky like ominous portals.
Intrigued, Seras charged at her husband again, but was surprised when a large fist came flying out of the first portal. It flew at her with a speed and power that was no less than what she had been displaying all of this time.
She hurried to raise her spear in time and parried the attack with some difficulty. She was surprised to learn that her husband’s construct wasn’t a construct. It was a manifestation of will and universal laws.
Gravity to make her body feel heavy. The speed of light to keep her on her toes, the frigid cold of space to stiffen her movements, it was all there.
Seras’ level of intrigue was only rocketing from here.
Once she parried the first punch and knocked it aside, she found that the next blow to come was a large glowing foot.
‘Oh…!’
Within two moves, Seras knew exactly what her husband was doing.
He wasn’t just chaining together simple punches and kicks with his new oversized ligaments. He was using actual martial arts techniques with thought and sophistication behind them.
The longer this went on, the more she realized that she was right.
His blows were elegant, precise, but still relaxed enough that she couldn’t so easily predict what he would do next.
What’s more, it did not appear that he was fighting with the intent to kill or incapacitate, like he normally would. His blows felt like they were meant to subdue and exhaust.
Ordinarily, that surely would have resulted in a loss of power and intensity, but Seras could still feel her husband’s fearsome strength and intensity behind every strike.
And he was doing all of this without moving a single inch. He fought like a god.
Saying that Seras was in love didn’t quite cover the upper levels of her current infatuation.
Even though this body did not have a heart, she could feel hers beating within her ears or ready to explode out of her chest.
Excitement, admiration, lust, and joy shone on her face to create the crescendo of beautiful smiles.
She placed some distance between the two of them and brought her hair towards her.
The largest mouth made a gagging sound, and she extracted a giant sword from its maw.
The blade resembled a demonic meat cleaver, with pulsing red energy rushing through its metal and a wide, flat blade.
As soon as she drew it, her aura practically doubled in intensity, and a pair of flaming wings burst from her back.
“More, more, more!!! I need more!!!”
–
“Well, there they go getting all excited again… Hope you weren’t expecting to have them back before the night ends, love. Seras is incorrigible when she gets like that…”
Izanami sat in Sif’s lap as the two of them watched from a seat on the porch. Sif was splitting her focus between the fight going on a few miles from her and the bowl of yogurt in front of her.
She didn’t notice how warm Izanami was becoming until she was literally like a furnace on top of her.
“H-Hey, are you alright…?”
Izanami turned around with her signature ominous heart eyes and a small trail of blood running from her left nostril. Her smile was as wicked as it was cheerful.
“D-Darling… just out of curiosity, how sweaty do you think they’ll get from doing this… m-mainly… their underwear…?”
Sif blinked slowly as she tried to come up with a response.
Eventually, she just said the first thing to come to mind.
“You’re so adorable.”
