Chapter 1077: Chapter 526: Entering Thousand Tower City

The Weapon God slowly sailed near the routes of the Gorasis Sky Realm, where the northern chill had already deepened the sky’s pale blue hue.

Li Ang and Elaphia gazed forward on the deck, also marking this moment as a farewell.

Though it was a farewell, the two had been inseparable these past days, having said everything there was to say. Even Aifei, who had been too shy to speak some words, showed signs of loosening up.

The blonde girl sat within Li Ang’s arm, the tranquility of the moment was but a quiet sharing of the peaceful time before temporary separation, and a brewing of some kind of emotion.

"We’re almost there," Elaphia said softly.

"Okay."

According to plan, she would use the powerful Weapon God to send Li Ang to the Gorasis Sky Realm. From here, he would take a small flying airship with Diao and Liluliss to embark on their voyage. It’s not far from Thousand Tower City, so it wouldn’t take much time.

Since Elaphia needed to return to the Order Flame Corps and the Guild for work reports, she wouldn’t be accompanying him to Thousand Tower City this time.

She was somewhat deliberate about this, seemingly wanting to temporarily sever the tender feelings of the past few days to regain her spirit.

The warmth and peace of these days had made her unlike herself, and this was something Farlonio often teased about behind her back.

"Then—mmm!"

Aifei had just raised her head to look at her beloved when he pressed down, sealing her lips.

Her sapphire-like eyes briefly widened, but in those days, the sharpness that once filled her gaze had long retreated into the depths of her pupils, and now it still hadn’t been released.

Her small hands pushed symbolically a few times, and the petite girl’s innocent face eventually submerged into bliss.

Though seemingly inseparable, they hadn’t actually done this often these two days. One reason was that there were always other eyes around, and another was that Elaphia seemed to feel these actions didn’t fit her style. Even if she couldn’t quite express why, she seemed a bit conflicted. It looked like she would really get angry if Li Ang pushed too hard.

However, at the moment of separation, these conflicts naturally dissipated. She nervously clutched Li Ang’s chest, losing her usual calm confidence and becoming entirely subject to his will.

Li Ang took this opportunity to try and coax more of the shyness she was usually unwilling to reveal.

Thus, the amusement in his eyes made her both embarrassed and annoyed.

Once her petite body seemed about to melt into him, Li Ang finally let her go. Not without warranting her Weapon Race, with metal blood coursing through her, as the weakness in Elaphia quickly faded. She immediately stepped back on the Flying Blade to create distance.

"You, you... pervert!"

"It’s the beautiful Lady Alma who made me this way." Li Ang said with a beaming smile.

Aifei pursed her moist young lips, her face a deep red, and quickly fled beyond sight.

Upon departing by ship, a backward glance revealed the figure of the blonde girl standing on the Flying Blade, watching him go.

Li Ang waved his hand at her from afar, her body trembled faintly, and she gently raised her hand in response.

Eventually, their gaze was severed by the cold wind of the aerial realm’s routes.

"Phew, it’s so cold. Li Ang, come inside the cabin." Lily called.

Even though she was so powerful, and though the source of her power is hard to comprehend, a legendary powerhouse capable of channeling the Creator’s power of destruction would feel cold, something impossible within Farina’s power system.

Once inside the cabin, Li Ang sensed a slight excitement in the two’s moods. Diao because she "considerately" didn’t interrupt Li Ang and Aifei’s limited time together, now felt a sense of liberation.

As for Lily, she was finally able to see Zoe.

"Tell me more about that child."

"Sure, sure."

As the reunion approached, she actually wanted Li Ang to repeat more stories about Zoe. Understanding her feelings, Li Ang added more details to the tales he had already recounted many times.

Before long, Lily and Diao’s attention was drawn to the unique scenery of the Gorasis Sky Realm.

Perhaps because the world lacked water sources, the Water Element was abundant yet chaotic, setting a cool and cold environment. The frosted windows and swirling snowflakes left them both quite amazed.

For Diao, it might be expected, but even Lily had never been here before.

Perhaps this was because she had always been entangled with the Empire, mostly linked to the Ignis Sky Realm, whereas the Ice and Sand Sky Realm was more of a fringe area compared to the Floral, Fiery, and Magical Disaster Realms, with naturally fewer inhabitants.

Even more so than the hot and arid Salem Sky Realm, Gorasis was even more "aloof from the world."

Thousand Tower City is precisely an island matching this aura, a city full of casters and scholars, seemingly more suited for contemplation in its tranquil, chilly surroundings. The diplomatic approach of no unnecessary disturbance fits the habit of staying home to read.

However, the splendor of magic and civilization couldn’t be concealed. In the distant sky, it was like a pearl, or a multifaceted crystal, meticulously cut to illuminate the dark blue sky with brilliance.

After a day and night’s journey, they saw the position of Thousand Tower City.

"Wow, that’s Thousand Tower City, where Zoe and the others go to school." Lily hummed a tune and said.

Li Ang smiled and nodded. When they moved to the side, as the ship got closer, he gradually calmed down.

It wasn’t that he wasn’t looking forward to seeing those people again, or that he felt anxious as he neared home, but rather he began thinking about subsequent matters and the time he planned to stay here.
