Jiang Xia was always like this, loving to be cuddly and intimate with his wife in all sorts of ways.

Perhaps he liked her too much; sometimes, he even felt like he was touch-starved when it came to Shi Lan.

He waited a moment, but when Shi Lan didn’t respond, his eyes fixated on the sweet, red lips so close to his own, and he couldn’t resist being the first to lean in for a kiss.

At first, his kiss was subtle and exploratory, as soft and light as a feather brushing against her lips. He didn’t try to enter her mouth, merely pecking her softly on the outside.

After a few pecks, he secretly opened his eyes to peek at Shi Lan. Seeing the hint of a smile in her eyes and that she said nothing, he grew bolder. His hands slowly wrapped around her shoulders, pulling her in until there was no space left between them.

But, Jiang Xia was still Jiang Xia.

When it came to their intimacy, Shi Lan was usually the one to take the lead. After kissing for a short while, he was already starting to lose it. He was panting, short of breath, and the arms holding her began to go limp. But his eyes were clearly filled with a reluctant craving, like a fine thread wrapping tightly around Shi Lan, begging her to continue.

His messy kisses had aroused Shi Lan’s desires as well, especially in such a dreamlike underwater setting. Her mind drifted back to the first time she had kissed Jiang Xia.

That had been her first kiss, and afterward, Jiang Xia had timidly run away. Now, it was the complete opposite. He was bold and passionate, just like a clingy little puppy.

Shi Lan pushed him against the glass wall nearby. With his back to the ocean behind him and something to lean on, his legs finally felt less like jelly and had some strength in them again.

He opened his glistening eyes and looked at Shi Lan with anticipation. Before she even leaned in to kiss him, his Adam’s apple bobbed up and down as he swallowed several times. The excitement and the lingering taste of their previous intimacy made him salivate involuntarily.

In moments like this, Jiang Xia actually had a seductive allure.

His long, silver hair was cast in a hazy blue under the refracted light of the water. The corners of his eyes were tinged with pink, and his lips were a deep red from their kiss. The shimmering underwater light reflecting on his fair cheeks seemed to cast a beautiful filter over him.

Shi Lan stared at him for a few seconds. She had originally planned to tease him, to mimic how he used to kiss and run, but now she couldn’t help but reach out, press his head down, and tilt her own up to kiss him deeply.

Jiang Xia had been waiting for this moment, but when it finally came, an excited low moan escaped his throat uncontrollably.

Feeling a little self-conscious, Shi Lan pressed her lips more firmly against his, her eyes warning him to be quiet.

Although there weren’t many people on the yacht and no one had followed them to the lower level, kissing in a non-private, open area like this always came with the worry of being seen.

She hadn’t intended to go along with Jiang Xia’s antics at first. But who could resist the allure of such a handsome man, especially when he was the one she loved? She found it hard to hold back.

Jiang Xia seemed to understand her. Feeling the increased pressure on his lips, he gave a slight nod, but his eyes were clearly even more excited. His hands couldn’t help but wrap tightly around Shi Lan again, refusing to let her go.

In the end, Shi Lan gave in to her heart’s desire and kissed him for a long time. Both had their eyes closed in concentration until they heard a knock on the door of the lower level. A staff member called out, "Hello, we’ve arrived at the fishing area. Would you like to fish?"

Shi Lan snapped back to reality. She opened her eyes, her gaze first falling on the handsome, flushed face before her, then shifting to the view outside the glass.

At some point, a school of fish had gathered outside the glass again, staring at them with wide, curious eyes like a crowd of onlookers.

Although she knew the fish didn’t understand anything, Shi Lan still took a nervous step back. She tried to steady her ragged breathing and called out to the person outside, "Okay, we’ll be right up."

"Alright."

The staff member outside had no intention of disturbing them. After getting a response, he walked back up the stairs and left.

Without Shi Lan holding him up, Jiang Xia slowly slid down the glass wall until he was sitting on the floor. He licked his lips, savoring the aftertaste, his breathing still chaotic.

Shi Lan looked down at him. His dazed eyes stared right back at her, a clear look of wanting more still in them.

Shi Lan couldn’t help but press a hand to her forehead, muttering to herself, ’I’ll have to take proper care of you tonight.’

’It’s too inconvenient during the day.’

Because Jiang Xia’s disheveled appearance was a dead giveaway, the two of them waited on the lower level for another ten-odd minutes before going up to the fishing area.

A staff member had already prepared bait and fishing rods in the fishing area, waiting for Shi Lan and Jiang Xia.

Jiang Xia’s lips were much redder than Shi Lan’s and even a little swollen. The staff member glanced at them out of the corner of his eye before quickly looking away, pretending not to have noticed. He lowered his head, explained how to use the fishing rods, and then left.

The weather was great today. The yacht would typically stop in the fishing area for about three hours, depending on the weather, which was perfect for a leisurely fishing session.

Shi Lan baited her hook, cast her line, and began to wait patiently for a fish to bite.

Jiang Xia glanced at her and, mimicking her actions, cast his own line.

However, he had put a huge glob of bait on his rod. Almost as soon as he cast the line, the bait couldn’t hold on and fell off, devoured by the fish below in the blink of an eye.

Shi Lan had never fished before, but some things just came with beginner’s luck. She was having a good day; it wasn’t long before she got a bite.

Her eyes lit up, and she immediately reeled in her line. She excitedly took a picture of the fish before placing it in the bucket.

Jiang Xia praised her happily, "Wow, how is my wife so amazing? You caught a fish so quickly!"

As he was speaking, he felt a tug on his own rod and quickly reeled it in, only to find the hook completely empty.

Jiang Xia eyed his hook with suspicion. Seeing it was picked clean, he couldn’t help but remark, "These fish are too smart. They ate everything without a trace."

He had no idea that his bait had fallen off the hook the moment it hit the water. In fact, the fish on Shi Lan’s side had been drawn over by his bait. After determining that eating it posed no risk, they had let down their guard and fallen for Shi Lan’s trap.

Shi Lan encouraged him, "It’s okay, the day is still young."

As she spoke, she looked down at the fish she’d just caught. She couldn’t tell what species it was, but it was quite small, maybe only a couple of pounds. The fish looked a bit like one of the "onlookers" from the lower level.

Feeling a pang of sympathy, Shi Lan released it back into the water, then continued fishing with renewed confidence.

Fishing was mainly about the fun of the catch. But while Shi Lan was getting bites frequently, Jiang Xia couldn’t seem to catch anything. Shi Lan thought it might be because of their positions and even switched spots with him, but the result was the same.

However, Jiang Xia wasn’t too disappointed. His mind wasn’t really on fishing; he was staring absently at the ocean, hoping to see his pink dolphin.

Shi Lan, worried he might feel dejected, kept encouraging him. Jiang Xia’s eyes darted slyly, and he seized the opportunity. "Lanlan, give me a kiss, and I won’t be sad anymore."
