Chapter 29: Chapter 29: Hidden Opportunity (2)
Su Qin’s face turned red at once.
Her eyes had already caught sight of his huge little brother before she could look away.
Even though she had seen it many times over the past two days, seeing him openly strip in front of her and Han Jin inside a treasure pool was still different.
"You shameless bastard!" she scolded, her voice rising. "Who told you to take everything off?!"
Li Jian sat down in the pool, his expression remaining calm even as the tempering force painfully compressed his foundation.
"The record said the liquid needs to contact the body as much as possible," he replied. "Keeping clothes on would only weaken the effect. Senior Sister Su should also know that."
Su Qin’s ears burned.
She was still wearing her robes in the pool, though the lower half was already soaked and clinging to her figure.
Hearing him say it so bluntly only made her more embarrassed.
"That doesn’t mean you have to be this shameless about it!"
Han Jin glanced over once, his face stiff, then immediately turned away and continued circulating his qi.
Under the earlier requests and the current situation, he did not bother saying more.
Li Jian leaned back slightly against the stone edge of the pool, letting the pale-gold liquid cover most of his body.
The pain in his meridians was intense, but he could already feel impurities being slowly forced out.
He looked at Su Qin’s flushed face and smiled faintly.
"Senior Sister Su can scold me all she wants. Just don’t waste the one chance this pool gives you."
Su Qin glared at him, her blush still obvious, then clicked her tongue and turned her face away.
"...Hmph! Disgusting man."
Even so, she did not leave the pool.
The Golden Marrow Tempering Pool continued to press down on all three of them, and the underground chamber filled with the sound of heavy breathing as they endured the one-time tempering together.
Li Jian quickly understood why this opportunity was considered both valuable and dangerous.
The pale-gold liquid did not simply nourish the body.
It squeezed and forced its way into the meridians, pressed against the dantian, and crushed out every bit of impure qi that had accumulated from sloppy cultivation and low-grade resources.
Even Han Jin endured it with a grim face, but his peak Qi Refinement foundation was already much more compact.
After the initial shock, he was able to circulate his qi and gradually adapt.
Su Qin also suffered, her brows tightly furrowed and her breathing uneven, yet her cultivation was still far above Li Jian’s.
She could grit her teeth and hold on.
Li Jian was different.
His 3rd Stage Qi Refinement foundation was too loose.
The moment the pool’s force sank deeper, pain exploded through his meridians.
Even though he tried to maintain a calm expression, cold sweat soon formed on his forehead, and his arms trembled slightly as he gripped the stone edge of the pool.
Every breath felt heavy.
It was as if someone were wringing his body from the inside, crushing and reshaping his flesh, meridians, and foundation all at once.
’This is much harder than I thought...’
His face turned pale, and his back tightened under the pressure.
Su Qin noticed.
At first she only glanced over.
Then, when she saw how much worse he looked compared to her and Han Jin, a mocking smile appeared on her flushed face.
"Hehe~ What’s wrong, Junior Brother Li?" she said, her voice carrying a clear note of provocation. "Didn’t you take all your clothes off so you could absorb it better? Why do you look like you’re about to die after just a short soak?"
Li Jian’s mouth twitched, yet his breathing remained somewhat steady.
Su Qin did not stop.
"I forgot. You’re only at the Third Stage. A treasure like this is wasted on someone with such a weak foundation. Look at you... sitting there shaking, completely naked, and still barely holding on."
This time, Li Jian’s eye twitched as a small vein bulged at his temple.
The pain in his meridians was already irritating enough.
Having her mock him on top of that made his irritation twist into something colder.
He turned his head toward her and spoke in a low, calm voice.
"Senior Sister Su. Come here and serve me."
Su Qin’s mocking smile froze.
The request from the journey was still in effect.
Combined with the new order, that familiar feeling of "this is proper" immediately pressed down on her mind.
Reluctance flashed across her face, followed by embarrassment, then the same unwilling acceptance she had shown many times already.
"...You want that? Now?"
Li Jian looked at her through the pale-gold mist above the pool, his eyes dark.
"Now."
Su Qin’s lips pressed together.
She glanced once at Han Jin, who kept his face turned away and continued circulating his qi as if he had heard nothing.
Then she let out a short, angry breath and moved through the liquid toward Li Jian.
The Golden Marrow Tempering Pool rippled around her full figure as she came closer, her expression reluctant and flushed, yet her body still obeyed.
Li Jian opened his eyes.
The first thing he saw was Su Qin standing in the pale-gold liquid, only a few steps away from him.
The soaked robes clung tightly to her voluptuous body, outlining every curve without mercy.
Her full large breasts pressed heavily against the wet fabric, the shape of them clear enough to see how soft and large they were.
The liquid reached her waist, making her hips look even rounder, and a few wet strands of hair stuck to her flushed cheek.
She looked unsure.
Her hands hovered slightly in front of her, as if she did not know whether to kneel in the pool, lean forward, or wait for him to tell her exactly how to serve.
The reluctance was still there, but so was that forced acceptance.
She bit her lower lip and glanced down, then back at him.
"You... how do you want me to do it here?" she muttered.
