Chapter 2842: I Need to Rinse My Mouth

Feeling a bit hot, Li Mingxi flipped her long hair and suddenly caught sight of a man walking towards her.

"Hello, miss, can I get to know you?" the man asked sincerely, staring at her.

"What do you want?" Li Mingxi asked coolly.

She was long used to being hit on.

The man conveniently sat down beside her, "Just want to be friends with you."

Li Mingxi ignored him and looked toward Xiao Lang, who was walking over from not far away.

Xiao Lang also saw them and took a few large strides forward.

"Here, I got your stinky tofu." He handed the box to Li Mingxi.

The man beside Li Mingxi saw Xiao Lang and abandoned all thoughts of comparison, leaving sensibly.

Xiao Lang sat down next to Li Mingxi with a calm demeanor.

"Who was that?"

"I don’t know him," Li Mingxi truthfully replied.

Xiao Lang snorted coldly, "In the future, if you meet men like that, it’s best not to even give them a glance, or they’ll push their luck."

Li Mingxi chuckled, "Alright, let’s not talk about that. Let’s eat the stinky tofu."

Xiao Lang’s expression instantly stiffened.

Li Mingxi handed him a box, "You handle finishing this. We’ll each have one serving."

Xiao Lang somewhat respectfully and shyly turned his face away.

"If you love it, you can have it all. It’s fine by me."

"I do love it, but I won’t overeat. Plus, it’s only fun when two people eat together, right?"

Li Mingxi insistently placed the stinky tofu in front of him.

Just the smell made Xiao Lang feel like vomiting.

Li Mingxi even mischievously waved the stinky tofu under his nose.

Xiao Lang quickly covered his nose and exhaled deeply, "You eat it, I really don’t like it."

Li Mingxi smiled secretly, "Aren’t you asking for my forgiveness? Eat this, and I’ll forgive you."

Xiao Lang looked at her plaintively, "I really can’t eat this stuff."

"It’s really good," Li Mingxi took a piece with chopsticks and put it in her mouth, savoring it, "See, it’s delicious. Come on, give it a try."

She picked a piece to feed him, making it hard for Xiao Lang to avoid or not.

Li Mingxi’s eyes sparkled with anticipation, "Open your mouth, let me feed you."

"I really don’t like it," Xiao Lang struggled futilely.

"Just try one piece, you can’t possibly not manage even one?"

Xiao Lang understood that if he didn’t eat it, Li Mingxi wouldn’t give up easily.

After all, he had put her through a lot today.

Thinking about the perks of the evening, Xiao Lang knew he must eat it, or there’d be no perks tonight.

He held his breath and mumbled grumpily, "I’ll need to rinse my mouth after."

Li Mingxi nodded, "OK, no problem."

With her promise, Xiao Lang hesitantly opened his mouth. Li Mingxi, quick as a flash, shoved the stinky tofu into his mouth.

Xiao Lang instinctively wanted to spit it out.

"No spitting!" Li Mingxi warned him.

Xiao Lang had no choice but to quickly chew and then swallow it directly. Seeing his expression of utter misery, Li Mingxi laughed heartily.

"Haha, if you mess with me again, I’ll make you eat more..."

Xiao Lang was now relieved.

Actually, stinky tofu smells bad, but it’s not that awful to eat, though the taste is peculiar.

Seeing Li Mingxi laugh so happily made him happy too.

"Are you no longer angry? Have you forgiven me?" he asked with a smile.

Li Mingxi glanced at him flirtatiously, "I’ll let you off this time."

Xiao Lang suddenly pulled her closer, with a devilish grin, "Now it’s my turn. I need to rinse my mouth."
