A wave of tingling sensation swept through Sora’s waist like lightning, causing her body to involuntarily shrink.

How had Xavier become so eager overnight?

"You... mm... Xavier..."

Soon, Sora was kissed breathlessly, pushing against his hands in an attempt to break free, but to no avail.

How strong was this Xavier? She couldn’t even push him away despite her weight. For the first time, Sora doubted her ability to protect herself against someone heavier.

This shameless beastman actually had his hands on her chest.

He truly was a beastman who only ate meat.

After a while of touching, Sora felt as if those two mounds were no longer part of her.

Just as she was about to ask Xavier to stop, she suddenly heard footsteps nearby.

At the sound, she shrank her body, feeling a sense of urgency.

Something might be coming. She didn’t know whether it was a person or a beast.

Sora pushed Xavier again, saying,

"There are footsteps. Let go quickly."

But Xavier, feeling comfortable, had no intention of letting go.

Hearing her, he lifted his eyelids slightly, but his actions didn’t stop, and he kissed her even deeper.

This golden grassland was not bad, rolling around on it.

Thinking of this, Xavier couldn’t help but feel a bit distracted.

Seeing that Xavier was ignoring her, Sora silently cursed him for being so shameless.

Only caring about himself, he was shameless, but she still wanted to save face.

Sora could only curl her body up, hoping that passersby wouldn’t see her.

However, no matter how she tried to shrink her body, she realized her size was too large to hide.

She closed her eyes, intending to step on Xavier’s foot to make him let go.

Suddenly, a familiar voice dropped from the sky.

"No way. I can’t be mistaken."

Hearing this, Sora instantly jolted.

That voice sounded familiar.

It was the chatty werewolf from before.

He really could always make her notice him.

Just as Sora thought this, another werewolf beside the chatty beastman spoke up.

"What is the big deal about a couple making out in the wild?"

The chatty beastman looked at Xavier’s hands, his eyelids twitching slightly, muttering,

"Xavier really isn’t picky. Even someone like Kaelira is good enough for him. He truly can’t understand how Xavier ended up kissing Kaelira."

"The position is still so eye-catching. The females in the tribe who admire him—which one isn’t better-looking than Kaelira?"

Ace’s glass-like eyes instantly turned cold as he darkly stared at Xavier’s hands on Sora’s waist, even reaching out to her ample chest.

Lucas coldly said to Ace beside him,

"I said their sudden disappearance was not normal. Look, aren’t they getting along well now?"

Lucas also hadn’t expected that although Xavier usually seemed to dislike Sora, he would act so quickly.

Watching Xavier’s hand, Ace wished he could chop it off.

"What does a snake need hands for?"

Lukan was also slightly taken aback upon seeing Kaelira and Xavier kissing.

Since they had gone missing yesterday, he had been worried that something might happen to them, but now it seemed he had been overthinking it.

Kaelira seemed to not need him as much anymore.

The three of them wore unusual expressions.

Only Ryan glanced over without even blinking.

Looking at the two embracing each other, he sized them up.

"Next time you want a date, let us know in advance so we don’t waste a whole night looking for you."

They had been searching for them all night, and he was almost exhausted.

Sora felt a bit embarrassed at his words.

Ryan must have misunderstood something.

But right now, she needed the person beneath her to let go.

This time, she didn’t hesitate to stomp hard on Xavier’s foot.

Xavier grunted and looked up at her.

"What’s wrong?"

Sora didn’t even want to talk to him.

Only then did Xavier realize Ryan was beside them, and he loosened his grip on Sora before stating,

"We just rolled down from above."

Hearing this, Lukan’s expression remained gentle as he looked at Sora.

"Are you okay?"

"I... I’m fine."

Sora met Lukan’s gaze and suddenly felt a pang of guilt, as if she had committed a crime.

This scene was truly comparable to a large-scale cheating scene.

Clearly, she hadn’t done anything wrong, so why were all these people staring at her?

At this moment, she wished she could find a crack in the ground to hide in.

After hearing this, Lukan nodded.

"It’s good if you’re fine. We’ve collected all the salt, so we can head back to the tribe."

According to the normal schedule, they should have returned yesterday.

However, because Sora and Xavier had both gone missing, they had stopped and worked together to find them.

Lukan’s tone remained gentle without a hint of blame, even thoughtfully helping her relieve her embarrassment.

Sora truly felt that Lukan was a really good beastman.

Sora nodded.

"But I still have something to take out."

"Take something out? What is it?"

Sora pointed to the neatly stacked wheat ears beside her.

"I want to bring this back to the tribe."

Hearing that Kaelira wanted to bring something back, Ryan thought she had invented something new and leaned over to look, only to see a pile of yellow weeds.

He felt a bit disappointed.

"What do you want to take this pile of grass back for?"

Hearing this, Sora rolled her eyes at him.

"This is not ordinary grass. It is wheat, which can be used to make all sorts of noodles, buns, and steamed buns, serving as a staple food. Even if we don’t go hunting, we can fill our stomachs with it."

"Buns? Steamed buns? Didn’t we eat those before?" Lucas asked in confusion after hearing about food.

"Noodles can be made in many ways. The corn we had before could only be made into one or two kinds. You’ll know once you try it," Sora said lightly.

Xavier glanced at Lucas, who kept asking questions, and said,

"Why are you being so talkative? Hurry up and move the stuff."

Ace was already unhappy about Xavier getting ahead of him.

Now, seeing him giving orders, his expression naturally turned sour.

With a sneer, he said,

"Isn’t someone quite good at scheming? Can’t you handle this wheat by yourself? Why bother everyone?"

That sounded really sour.

However, Xavier didn’t indulge him.

He shot him a cold glance and said,

"If you don’t move it, that’s fine. When Kaelira makes the noodles, don’t come looking at us with envy."

"How long has it been, and Xavier is already calling her so affectionately."
