Fat and Ugly Villainess Wins Back Her Five Beast Husband

Chapter 180: Getting Wild While Pregnant

  • Next Chapter

After the few Beast Husbands discovered that Sora was not in the Wild Kitchen, they immediately set out to search for her.

She wasn’t alone now, so she had to be careful in all aspects.

Although her belly hadn’t grown large yet, a Female carrying a little cub always needed more consideration than a Female without one.

For example, if she encountered danger, she couldn’t run quickly at will. What if she ran too fast and lost the little cub?

Therefore, the few of them were extremely anxious.

As for the five people, they didn’t particularly notice that Lukan was missing.

For no other reason than that Lukan had always been the busiest one among them.

When it came to eating, he was often the last one to arrive.

Because he was often unpunctual and didn’t frequently appear by Sora’s side, none of them had imagined that Sora would actually be with Lukan.

The group first went to Sora’s Wooden Hut, and after seeing that no one was inside, they began searching everywhere else.

The Beastmen’s sense of smell was very keen, but after sniffing for a long time, none of them could find Sora’s scent.

Although they hadn’t seen Sora, the Beast Marks on Ace, Xavier, and Ryan—the three who had mated with her—had not changed, which indicated that Sora was safe.

The Mountain where they lived was quite large, and searching it would take some time.

Originally, splitting up to search would have been the most suitable method, but the group tacitly avoided suggesting it.

The reason was simple: everyone knew that whoever found Sora alone could stay with her.

No one would interrupt them, and they could do whatever they wanted.

All five men harbored their own selfish thoughts, so the search turned into a joint effort.

However, searching together didn’t necessarily mean lower efficiency.

Because their respective Beast Ranks were very high, after assigning a few directions to each person, a quick scan was enough to determine whether Sora was there or not.

Therefore, overall, the efficiency was about the same as one Beastman searching alone.

The first place they went was where Sora usually picked vegetables, but after searching around, they found no trace of her.

Next, they went to several other places Sora frequented, but still found no sign of her.

Ace frowned slightly, seeing that they had searched several places without finding Sora.

"Where do you think Kaelira, a Female, could have gone? How come we haven’t found her after searching for so long?"

Lucas also said, confused, "I find it strange too. Could she have gone to the Salt Well or the Mud Land?"

Xavier shook his head.

"Unlikely. That place is quite far from the Tribe. It’s improbable for a Female like her to walk all the way there."

Ryan thought for a moment and said, "Then could she be inventing something again and wandered off temporarily?"

The others listened and felt that made some sense.

Sora loved making strange and odd things, and she often used items they hadn’t seen much of.

So, it wasn’t unreasonable to think she might have found a spot to mess around by herself.

Xavier, however, disagreed somewhat.

"While that’s possible, I haven’t heard Kaelira mention wanting to make anything new recently."

"You analyze things so eloquently, so why don’t you tell us where she went?"

Lucas heard Xavier raise doubts, glanced him up and down, and mocked him slightly.

That Black Bear only ever spoke empty words, so Lucas couldn’t help but needle him.

Xavier shrugged upon hearing this.

"I don’t know either, but I feel like she’s still nearby. Where could she go late at night if not to sleep?"

Xavier had barely finished speaking when the others fell silent.

Xavier’s words actually made some sense.

Sora wasn’t the type to wander too far away without a reason, especially now that she was carrying a little cub.

Xavier’s gaze swept across the surrounding forest.

"If she’s still nearby, we should be able to find her."

Xavier’s words made the others become even more focused.

They spread their senses once again, carefully searching every nearby area.

Xavier’s expression remained calm, but his heart was already becoming increasingly anxious.

He didn’t care who Sora was with as long as she was safe.

At least, that was what he told himself.

Xavier knew very well that if Sora had really gone somewhere alone, the others would also be worried.

But if she was with one of them...

Then the situation would be completely different.

Xavier listened to the two arguing, looking thoughtful. Then, as if remembering something, he spoke:

"I remember Kaelira used to love running early in the morning, but after getting pregnant with the little cub, she stopped running much and switched to evening walks. Thinking about it that way, she might have gone for a walk."

"Walk?"

Hearing this, the others agreed it made sense and all looked toward Xavier.

"Where does she like to walk?"

Xavier lifted his eyelids.

"The north side, I think."

Ryan spoke up at this point.

"She also likes going to the south side."

He had seen Sora running there several times while soaking in the Hot Spring, but he hadn’t said anything.

"Then let’s check both the north side and the south side."

After speaking, the group instantly teleported to the small woods on the north and south sides.

To their disappointment, they still hadn’t found anyone.

They carefully searched through the woods, but there was no sign of Sora.

Not even the slightest trace of her scent could be detected.

Lucas pouted.

"She wouldn’t have gone to the east side, where she’s never been before, on a whim today, would she?"

Ace frowned and said, "Since we’re already here, let’s check the east side too."

The west side was where they currently lived, so it wasn’t worth checking.

Hearing this, the group didn’t hold much hope, but they rushed over anyway.

Just as they had expected, the woods were still silent.

There were no footprints.

No familiar scent.

And no sign of Sora.

Lucas snorted softly.

"She’s not here either. Once we find her this time, I must leave some scent on her, otherwise finding her will be difficult."

Having said that, he turned to leave.

Just then, a soft moan came from the bushes.

"Mmm..."

The sound was short but not quiet.

After hearing it, Lucas’s lips twitched slightly.

Someone was actually coupling here?

They really didn’t care about the location.

But why did that sound seem somewhat familiar?

The foot he had raised to step forward immediately paused, and he stopped.

The other men were also preparing to head back, but when the sound rang out, their expressions turned strange.

It was definitely Sora’s voice, but she had never been so unrestrained before.

Lucas immediately scowled.

"No wonder we couldn’t find her! Is she secretly hooking up with a new Beast Husband behind our backs?"

Ace was also angry.

They had worried so much about her, yet Sora couldn’t stay put even while pregnant with a little cub.

He hadn’t been able to be intimate with Sora for days, yet someone else had beaten them to it.

Before the others could react, Lucas darted forward.

"I want to see which Beast Husband is so blind as to dare steal our Female."

However, when he reached the spot and saw the person, his face was full of astonishment.

"Lukan, how could it be you?"

Was that Lucas’s voice?

When Sora heard that familiar voice, her face immediately flushed with shame.

How did he find this place?

Compared to Sora’s panic, Lukan appeared much calmer.

He calmly glanced at Lucas and the Beast Husbands behind him, then waved the nearby animal-hide bedding to cover Sora and said flatly,

"It’s me. What’s wrong?"

What’s wrong?

How dare he say that?

They had nearly turned the mountain upside down searching for Sora, yet he was here being intimate with her.

"Nothing much. It’s just that we searched for a long time and thought Kaelira was lost. We didn’t realize she was being secretly kept by someone."

Lucas snorted lightly.

His tone was filled with displeasure.

Xavier crossed his arms, looking at the two in front of him, and said sadly,

"Kaelira, didn’t you say you weren’t going to do Night Guarding?"

Sora’s face became even hotter.

She wanted to explain, but under the gazes of all the Beast Husbands, the words became stuck in her throat.

Xavier’s expression was calm, but his eyes clearly carried a trace of disappointment.

After all, they had all been searching for her for such a long time.

Yet she had actually been with Lukan the entire time.

Xavier also looked at her with a sarcastic tone.

"Speak up, what are you planning to do?"

Ryan’s expression was cold, but a rare anger surfaced on his face as he looked calmly at Sora.

"If you wanted to be with Lukan, you should have told us beforehand."

Sora pulled the animal-hide bedding up to cover herself, genuinely feeling guilty for a moment.

She really didn’t start this today!

She hadn’t deliberately disappeared from the Wild Kitchen.

She hadn’t deliberately made them search the entire mountain.

And she certainly hadn’t expected them to discover her here.

But the six pairs of eyes in front of her were staring straight at her like knives.

Sora’s heart pounded.

She looked at the men one by one.

Lucas looked annoyed.

Xavier looked disappointed.

Ryan’s expression was cold.

The others were equally displeased.

Even Lukan, who had been calm until now, seemed to realize that the situation had become troublesome.

Sora silently pulled the animal-hide bedding a little higher.

Her neck suddenly felt a chill.

This damned cheeky wolf.
