Fat and Ugly Villainess Wins Back Her Five Beast Husband

Chapter 148: Loving The Fuller Type Than Slender

Sora noticed the curious looks.

A mischievous idea immediately appeared in her mind.

She stopped in front of the group of females.

Then she smiled sweetly and took the containers from Lyra.

"My mother was worried that I might damage the tea leaves, so she insisted on helping me carry everything."

She turned toward Lyra.

"She’s really thoughtful."

Lyra’s expression instantly became tense.

The surrounding females immediately smiled.

"Your mother is so good to you!"

"She’s even helping you carry things."

"And she’s teaching you how to make milk tea too!"

"Can you teach me how to make it?"

Sora looked at Lyra with a faint smile.

Lyra immediately understood what Sora was doing.

But she couldn’t deny it.

If she did, she would lose face.

So she could only smile stiffly.

"Yes."

Her voice was somewhat forced.

"My mother treats me very well."

The surrounding females nodded enviously.

"That’s wonderful."

"You two really have a good relationship."

Lyra’s face twitched.

She had never expected that helping Sora carry a few things would somehow turn into a public display of affection.

But then she noticed the approving expressions around her.

For the first time, she realized something.

Being praised for treating Sora well...

Actually felt rather good.

It gave her some glory in front of the other females.

Lyra silently glanced at Sora.

This girl...

She really knew how to take advantage of every situation.

And perhaps that was another thing she had underestimated about her.

Sora smiled innocently.

She had no intention of correcting the misunderstanding.

After all, Lyra had willingly carried the things.

If Lyra wanted to preserve her pride, she could enjoy the praise.

As for Sora...

She had successfully turned an inconvenient request into an opportunity.

Not only would the tribe learn how to make milk tea, but she had also gained a promise from Lyra.

From now on, Lyra couldn’t casually interfere with her decisions.

That alone made this trip worthwhile.

After finishing the preparation, Sora focused on explaining the process to the surrounding females.

She demonstrated each step carefully, making sure everyone could see what she was doing.

First, she placed the fresh tea leaves into the pottery pan and began frying them over the fire.

As the leaves slowly released their fragrance, a rich tea aroma spread through the air.

"Keep stirring them," Sora explained. "Don’t let them burn. Once the leaves release their fragrance, you can add the milk."

She then poured fresh milk into the pot.

The pale liquid mixed with the tea leaves, gradually taking on a warm, creamy color.

The females gathered around her listened carefully.

Some stared at the process with fascination.

Others whispered among themselves, clearly eager to try making the drink themselves.

Not far away, a fox-clan beastman named Nick Wilde had been watching Sora for quite some time.

His attention wasn’t focused on the milk tea alone.

He was watching Sora’s serious expression as she patiently explained everything.

After a while, he turned to the man standing beside him.

"What is your sister usually like?"

The person he had addressed was Mark.

Mark was also watching Sora.

This was actually his first time seeing her make milk tea.

He had heard about it from others, but he had never witnessed the process himself.

He couldn’t help wondering when Sora had learned to do this.

Hearing Nick Wilde’s question, Mark turned toward him in surprise.

Then his expression suddenly became suspicious.

"Wait."

He looked Nick Wilde up and down.

"Don’t tell me you have a crush on my sister."

Nick Wilde raised an eyebrow.

Mark immediately continued jokingly,

"Am I not qualified to become your brother-in-law yet?"

Nick Wilde glanced at him.

"Your strength is certainly commendable."

Mark’s expression brightened slightly.

"But if you really want to come to the Wolf Tribe," Nick Wilde continued, "my sister Serena is a much better choice."

He casually gestured toward the crowd.

"But Kaelira?"

Nick Wilde shook his head.

"Forget it."

Mark frowned.

"Why?"

"How could anyone like someone like her?"

Nick Wilde spoke as if it were obvious.

"Perhaps it was simply too dark last night. I probably didn’t see her clearly."

Mark stared at him.

He had clearly been impressed by Sora’s performance the previous night.

Yet Nick Wilde still seemed to believe Serena was more beautiful.

After thinking for a moment, he asked,

"Serena?"

"Yes."

"I have some impression of her."

Nick Wilde’s eyes moved toward the distant crowd.

"Is she the female who performed the butterfly dance?"

Mark nodded.

"Yes. She looks good, doesn’t she?"

"She does."

Nick Wilde thought for a moment.

"But she’s too thin."

Mark’s eyes widened.

"I don’t like females that thin."

His gaze unconsciously returned to Sora.

Compared with Serena’s slender figure, Sora’s appearance was much fuller and more curvaceous.

Nick Wilde seemed to find that more appealing.

Mark was stunned.

There are actually beastmen who prefer this type?

He couldn’t understand Nick Wilde’s taste at all.

Then Nick Wilde suddenly asked,

"What does Kaelira like?"

Mark hesitated.

"You haven’t told me anything about her."

Mark glanced toward his sister.

He wasn’t sure how to answer.

Finally, he gave the safest response he could think of.

"She probably likes to eat."

Nick Wilde nodded thoughtfully.

"She does seem to like eating."

Mark’s mouth twitched.

That wasn’t exactly the answer he had intended to give.

But before the conversation could continue, Sora finished teaching the females how to make milk tea.

She looked around.

Most of them had already memorized the basic steps.

Sora pretended to look tired.

"That’s enough for today. You can practice yourselves later."

The females thanked her enthusiastically.

Sora smiled.

But inwardly, she was already thinking about something else.

My makeup won’t last much longer.

She urgently needed to remove it.

She couldn’t remain outside until it completely wore away.

If someone noticed the difference between her appearance before and after removing the makeup, she would have to explain far too much.

So Sora quickly returned home and grabbed a change of beast-skin clothing.

Then she headed toward the hot spring.

She had originally planned to heat some water herself.

But it was already late.

The hot spring was much more convenient.

When she arrived, Sora carefully looked around.

Nobody seemed to be there.

Most importantly...

Ryan was nowhere in sight.

Sora secretly breathed a sigh of relief.

She entered the hot spring and began washing.

After making sure she was alone, she took out her small mirror.

The mirror was especially useful for removing her makeup because she could clearly see every part of her face.

She didn’t have modern makeup remover, so she had to use the soap-pod water she had prepared.

It was somewhat harsh on the skin, but its cleansing ability was strong enough.

Sora carefully wiped away the foundation and other makeup from her face.

The moonlight wasn’t bright enough to illuminate everything clearly.

So she took out the luminous pearl Ryan had given her.

The moment she placed it nearby, a soft glow illuminated the surrounding water.

Sora looked at it in surprise.

"This really is useful."

She remembered how Ryan had previously used the luminous pearl to work under the moonlight.

No wonder he could sew fish-skin clothing and perform other delicate tasks at night.

The pearl provided an excellent source of light.

Sora continued cleaning her face.

The soap-pod foam spread across her skin.

She felt much more comfortable once the thick layer of makeup began disappearing.

She had no idea that she wasn’t actually alone.

Not far away, beneath the surface of the water, Ryan was quietly grooming the scales along his fish tail.

He had been there for some time.

Then suddenly...

A bright white glow appeared.

Ryan immediately looked toward the light.
