Fat and Ugly Villainess Wins Back Her Five Beast Husband
Chapter 115: Spicy Rumors
The moment Xavier entered the tribe square, he caught fragments of conversation from a nearby group of gossiping beastmen.
"Come here, let me tell you something."
One beastman lowered his voice dramatically.
"Kaelira slept with three beast husbands last night."
"What?"
The others immediately looked at him.
"Three?"
"Are you serious?"
"With someone like Kaelira?"
The gossiping beastman nodded enthusiastically.
"I’m telling you the truth! When I went to inform her about the sacred fire, I saw Lucas, Ace, and that bear coming out of Kaelira’s room together."
The crowd erupted into whispers.
"No way."
"Having one beast husband is already impressive enough. How could she have three at once?"
"Why would I lie?"
The beastman puffed out his chest.
"I saw them with my own eyes."
Another beastman scratched his chin.
"Tsk. You really can’t judge someone by her appearance."
"Exactly. Who would have thought Kaelira could actually manage three men?"
Someone else lowered his voice.
"Does that mean she has already bonded with several beast husbands?"
"I don’t think so."
Another person shook his head.
"Ryan still seemed unwilling to associate with Kaelira before. And Xavier was called away by the chief. So he probably hasn’t had his first time with her either."
"What a pity."
"Xavier really missed out."
Those words reached Xavier’s ears.
He stopped.
For a moment, everything around him seemed to become completely silent.
His expression darkened.
Lucas.
Ace.
Damien.
Three men.
Together.
In Kaelira’s room.
Last night.
Xavier’s jaw tightened.
His previous longing for Sora instantly became mixed with jealousy.
He had already been uncomfortable knowing that Sora had grown closer to Lukan.
Now he was hearing that three men had stayed in her room overnight?
Those three had actually taken advantage of his absence.
His chest tightened.
"They’re really having fun."
His voice was dangerously low.
He imagined Lucas, Ace, and Damien surrounding Sora while he had been away completing the chief’s orders.
The more he thought about it, the worse his expression became.
Was Kaelira really not afraid of getting tired?
And those three...
They had deliberately waited until he was gone.
Xavier gritted his teeth.
His normally relaxed pace suddenly accelerated.
Then his figure flashed.
A streak of Black shot across the tribe.
The gossiping beastmen stared in stunned silence.
"Did I just see that correctly?"
"Was that black?"
"I saw it too."
"That looked like Xavier!"
Everyone exchanged excited glances.
Now there was going to be a good show.
Several people immediately wanted to follow him.
But before they could move, the loud sound of the bone whistle echoed throughout the tribe.
Toot—!
The gossipers reluctantly stopped.
The bone whistle meant something important had happened.
Everyone had to gather at the tribe square.
"Forget it. Let’s go."
"We’ll find out what happened later."
The crowd reluctantly followed the others toward the square.
Meanwhile, Xavier had already arrived at the wild kitchen.
It was empty.
He looked around.
There was no sign of Kaelira.
His gaze shifted toward her room.
He walked over and glanced inside.
Empty.
Kaelira wasn’t there either.
His brows furrowed.
Where had she gone?
Just as he was about to search for her, the bone whistle sounded again.
Xavier’s expression changed.
He had no choice but to temporarily abandon his search.
Whenever something significant happened within the tribe, the bone whistle was used to summon everyone to the central square.
As a member of the tribe, Xavier naturally couldn’t ignore it.
He turned around and followed the others.
But his heart remained unsettled.
Sora was back.
He had finally returned from his mission.
And somehow, he had already missed her again.
Worse still, while he had been away, three other men had apparently gotten much closer to her.
Xavier’s eyes darkened.
He had been away for only a short while.
Yet it seemed that while he wasn’t looking, the situation around Sora had become much more complicated.
He silently clenched his fists.
This time, he wouldn’t let himself be left behind.
He had missed the journey to the sacred mountain.
He had missed the night before.
He had missed breakfast.
He wasn’t going to miss anything else.
Whatever had happened between Kaelira and the others, he would find out for himself.
And if Lucas, Ace, and Damien thought they could monopolize her simply because he had been away...
They were sorely mistaken.
In the distance, many people spotted Sora and immediately began discussing the events of the previous day. Their voices carried through the tribe square as curiosity spread from one person to another.
"Why do I feel like Kaelira went to the God Mountain and came back prettier?"
"Yes! I noticed it too. She has lost quite a bit of weight."
"That thick waist and those heavy legs are almost gone."
"Not to mention, she actually has a pretty good figure now. No wonder those three couldn’t hold themselves back the moment she returned."
The whispers continued, each person adding their own opinion.
Standing among the crowd, Xavier’s gaze immediately became even more intense.
He had heard enough.
He had already been disturbed by the thought of Sora traveling to the God Mountain with Lukan. Then, upon returning, she had somehow ended up surrounded by Ace, Lucas, and Damien.
And now everyone was openly discussing her appearance.
Xavier’s expression darkened.
This time, the sacred fire had been brought back from the God Mountain by Sora. According to the tribe’s customs, it was only natural that she would be the one to ignite the sacred fire for the Wolf Tribe.
Following Martin’s instructions, Sora slowly walked toward the center of the square with the sacred torch in her hands.
At the center of the stage stood a massive wooden torch that the Wolf Tribe had prepared specifically to receive the sacred fire.
Once it was successfully ignited, it would become the tribe’s sacred flame.
Everyone in the tribe would worship it and pray before it, believing that the flame represented the blessings of the Sky God.
Sora wore a clean white beast-skin garment as she slowly approached the enormous torch.
The lively chatter from the crowd gradually disappeared.
Everyone’s expression became solemn.
Sora took a slow breath.
She had already experienced how troublesome this ritual could be.
At the God Mountain, her torch had almost failed to ignite. If she hadn’t secretly used her fire ability, the flame might have gone out before she could complete the ritual.
Therefore, this time, she was even more careful.
She held the torch close to the giant pile of dry wood and carefully transferred the sacred flame.
The moment the fire touched the prepared material, the dry wood caught fire.
A small flame appeared.
Sora’s eyes narrowed slightly.
She secretly amplified her fire ability, ensuring the flame continued burning steadily.
The fire quickly grew stronger.
However, not everyone in the crowd was happy about it.
Serena stood among the females, staring at Sora with a complicated expression.
A faint smile appeared on her lips.
So what if she managed to bring the sacred fire back?
Only those who were truly blessed by the gods could successfully ignite it.
Sora had already been struck by lightning once before.
If she failed to ignite the sacred fire this time, it would prove that she was an ill-fated female who had never received the protection of the gods.
And if that happened...
She would have a reason to be driven out of the tribe.
Serena’s eyes darkened.
As long as Sora left, the six beast husbands she had coveted would once again become available.
That thought alone made her heart race.
She stared at the stage without blinking, determined not to miss the moment Sora embarrassed herself.
Yet the next second—
The giant torch suddenly erupted into a brilliant flame.
The fire burned steadily, illuminating the entire stage.
Serena froze.
Her eyes widened in disbelief.
"How is that possible?"
Her fingers curled tightly into her palms.
She had secretly tampered with the torch that morning.
She had sprinkled water over the pinewood when no one was watching. It hadn’t been much, but the sun had not yet risen at that time, so the wood should still have been damp.
There was no way it should have ignited so easily.
Could it be that I didn’t use enough water?
