Chapter 140: Leaving The City

April

After getting to CJ’s car parked near the port exit, April asked her where Mary was going to stay now that she was no longer under her uncle’s tight control.

Benny explained with a smile that Mary actually had a safe place to go. Her late mother’s side of the relatives lived over in Mexico, and they were officially relocating there to get married far away from the city. Javier Sanchez couldn’t possibly come after Mary in Mexico because he was deeply afraid of Mary’s mother’s relatives.

That was quite an incredible coincidence. Mary and Benny might even end up seeing each other again once they all made it to Mexico.

After saying their final goodbyes and thanking both Angel and April repeatedly for all their help with the escape, Benny and Mary finally drove off into the night.

After seeing them off, that was the exact moment when Angel finally noticed that Percy was sitting right inside April’s arms.

"Did you seriously kidnap that white demon cat?" Angel asked, pointing her finger at the two cats, who were now completely free from their travel cages.

"I did not kidnap him at all," April said defensively, hugging the cat closer. "Charlie literally gave him to me to watch for a short while on the ship. And now that we are permanently leaving this country, why don’t we just take him along with us? He is completely happy as long as he is staying with Terror anyway." April grinned softly, giving Angel a playful look.

"What about his mommies?" Angel asked, actually thinking about how Charlie and Tessa would feel about their precious fancy white demon Percival suddenly being gone.

The look and horror on their faces when they find out..

"Consider this my tiny piece of personal revenge," April said, her eyes narrowing slightly as she recalled the past. "Tessa had absolutely no valid reason to prey on me or bully me during high school, and she still stands there feeling so proud about what she did to me back then. Percy is officially our adopted fur son now. Come on, let’s go arrange all our stuff before heading to that location you want to take me to."

Angel stood on the pavement and thought about it again and again.

She wondered inside her head what it would actually feel like if someone suddenly took her darling baby Coco away from her life. Then, when she looked down at Coco sitting in her arms, she wondered how much Coco would end up hating her if she forcibly separated her and took her far away from her mate, Percy. Looking at Percy himself right now, April was completely right. He looked genuinely happy being right beside his pregnant mate.

Angel also imagined that annoying red devil wearing a suit, wearing Angel’s absolute worst color in the world, and remembered her extremely rude attitude toward her girlfriend, April. Tessa definitely didn’t deserve to have a cute cat like Percy around. Then she thought about Charlie, the friendly Perverto-loving girl who always let Tessa walk all over her.

In the end, Angel’s deep love for Coco was far greater than whatever temporary sadness the two owners of Percy would feel about their missing cat.

So it is what it is, Percival Morgan-Johnson is now Percival Del Rosario..

With all the powerful people who ran the district still busy partying on the cruise ship, only the local security team was available on land to guard the people and properties of the district.

Angel was informed by the guard patroling around the district that the Master had already called Anthony directly, strictly instructing him not to let Angel come anywhere close to her property ever again. But Anthony casually let Angel do whatever she wanted anyway, because that old man was really tired of receiving constant orders from the Master regarding Angel ever since she was just a small kid.

He did not like how Angel was treated, and he had always the young Alpha would take control of the district someday...

So Anthony quietly gave Angel a short 30 minutes to pack up all her things and leave the Morningstar’s premises for good.

Angel quickly packed up all her personal belongings, moving from her vast collection of customized skateboards to her clothes, her private lewd equipment, Coco’s stylish clothes, and everything else she owned.

April also carefully packed her entire book collection and all her clothes from the mansion room, and together they loaded everything into the back of a black transport van that Anthony had generously given them for safe travels.

Coincidentally, Katie and the twins happened to be leaving the district in a few days as well. Their personal business was already well established inside the district, and they had officially placed a trusted manager in charge of daily operations. The twins were going to take Katie directly to their family homestead located in Mexico so she could rest properly.

After finally loading all of April’s packed things into the back of the van, it was officially time for them to leave the grounds forever.

Angel paused by the driver’s side door and looked at the mansion one last time.

This cold, giant house was the exact place where she had grown up her entire life. But now, she was fully ready to move on with her journey, especially with the four eyes Omega standing right by her side.

"Are you really going to be okay?" April asked, stepping up beside Angel and taking her hand gently.

"Yes," Angel nodded, turning her head to give April a soft, genuine look. "As long as we’re together, we’ll be completely fine. I am fully ready to move on from this place."

"Okay then, let’s go."

The two girls and their two cats climbed into the vehicle and headed out onto the open road. Angel took the wheel and drove straight toward a small local town, eager to let April finally meet someone she had been wanting to meet for a very long time.
