Extra's Path To Demon King
Chapter 607: Rage of Eldora
"I, Axel Nomrad, hereby sacrifice all my emotions to PRIME NE..."
BANG!!!!
Before the demon could even finish the last syllable of his declaration, a devastating punch landed flat on his stomach.
The sheer kinetic impact carried enough raw force to break his spine with a brutal crack, sending a violent shockwave tearing through his internal organs and crushing every drop of air from his lungs.
Axel coughed up dark blood, his frame jerking violently against the heavy iron chains that bound him to the wall. Before his head could slump downward into the dirt, Eldora reached out with blinding speed and grabbed Axel's neck.
Her golden hand clamped around his throat like a vice, choking him so hard that her fingers were close to snapping his neck and killing him on the spot.
Yet the demon, completely uncaring of the excruciating pain or his broken physical state, let out a mad roar of defiance.
Dark crimson blood spilt over his teeth and dripped down his chin, but he forced the words past his crushed windpipe anyway. He continued his declaration despite his throat being close to bursting open under her suffocating grip:
"I SACRIFICE ALL MY EMOTIONS TO PRIME NEXUS, IN EXCHANGE FOR OPENING… A GATE TO THE FALSE VOID."
At that instant, just as Eldora was about to rip Axel's head clean from his shoulders, uncaring of any cosmic consequences, boundless pressure descended from the heavens.
The sheer force blasted the heavy stone roof of the dark chamber wide open, scattering dust and massive boulders into the air. The oppressive weight of the celestial pressure pushed Eldora back, forcing her grip to slip from Axel.
A glowing screen of a golden barrier appeared out of nowhere between her and the Runecaster, shielding Axel temporarily from another physical assault by Eldora.
Beside them, Mason Vex was slammed to his knees by the falling rubble and the sudden, crushing aura.
The torturer gasped for air, blinded by the golden light and completely unable to comprehend the cosmic struggle unfolding right before his eyes. He scrambled backwards across the stone floor, terrified by a force he could neither see nor control.
Then an emotionless voice reverberated through Axel's mind, echoing with a flat, cold clarity that Eldora heard loud and clear.
[Axel Nomrad has made a Binding Request]
[Calibrating information related to the request]
[Designated sacrifice of the requester is determined to be his entire spectrum of Emotions]
[As Axel Nomrad is a Demon, the ability to feel emotions is a core foundational aspect of his being]
[Risk of Axel Nomrad's possible death is 99%]
[Recalibrating the desired outcome, which is opening a gate to the False Void]
[The offering made from Axel Nomrad has been deemed sufficient for the requested task.]
[Axel Nomrad's likely endpoint in both scenarios remains a 90%+ probability of death; as such, the rules of Fate Lock imposed by the World Will have not been violated]
[Initiating opening a gate to the False Void]
"You damned Parasite, don't you dare!!!!!" roared Eldora, as her scorching rage made the very world tremble.
Bang!!!!
She drew back her golden arm and smashed her fist against the golden barrier with such terrifying force that it contained the power of a dozen nuclear explosions compressed into a single action.
Immediately, thousands of small, webbed cracks spread across the shimmering surface, the barrier coming close to shattering under her divine fury.
And it was the same barrier that even the three 6th phase kings of humanity, with all of their combined destructive might, could not even put a single dent in. Yet Eldora had almost cracked it with a single strike.
Just as Eldora prepared to punch once more, a gargantuan tear opened in the skies, exactly two hundred meters above the destroyed dark chamber.
It was as if the sky were a mere piece of cloth torn open by giant, invisible hands, exposing the deep, abyssal unknown beyond the realm.
A violent suction force strong enough to swallow the world erupted into a harrowing storm. The air pressure dropped instantly, turning the atmosphere cold as wind roared across the ruined landscape.
The sheer pulling force from that empty expanse of the False Void felt as powerful as a true black hole, creating an absolute singularity that even light could not escape.
Loose earth, shattered stone pillars, and iron chains were ripped from the ground and drawn upward into the swirling rift overhead. Mason Vex screamed in panic as his body was lifted into the air, his fingers clawing uselessly at the dirt before he was swept into the sky.
BAAAAAANGGGG!!!!!
Eldora swung her arm again and landed her second strike, shattering the golden barrier. The golden structure exploded into thousands of bright shards that dissolved into the air.
By the time Eldora broke through, everything inside the barrier was already gone. The disastrous tear of space had swallowed both Axel Nomrad and Mason Vex, dragging them into the pitch-black expanse of the void.
As the golden barrier shattered, Eldora stood amid the dust and debris. She clenched her fists so tight that her fingers had become a mangled mess of broken bone and ruined flesh from the sheer recoil of her own attacks.
The suction force of the space tear only grew stronger, swallowing everything for miles and miles without exception. Trees, soil, and ancient structures were uprooted and pulled into the sky, while the torn fabric of space widened with every passing moment.
Yet Eldora remained unmoving in her spot. She stood anchored to the earth, her physical figure glitching violently like the flickering image of an old TV out of signal.
Overwhelmed by the rage Axel Nomrad had just provoked, her clean, divine appearance broke down entirely. Her whole figure turned pitch-black, surrounded by a writhing mass of squirming shadows that seemed to devour the light.
In the end, the materialisation of the World Will raised her arm and waved her hands through the air.
With that single motion, the continent's natural laws reasserted control.
The gargantuan tear in space closed instantly, sealing the breach. The roaring winds ceased, the sky returned to normal, and the world settled into a heavy quiet. Prime Nexus purged the area of all lingering traces of its influence.
However, exerting such authority cost the avatar her physical vessel. The World Will's body began to dissolve, slowly turning into a cloud of glowing stardust that drifted into the atmosphere.
For a final moment, piercing red, monstrous-looking eyes appeared upon her dark face, staring coldly in the direction where the space tear had been, toward the point where Axel Nomrad had been swallowed.
Eldora stated, her voice a disturbing mixture of a thousand different echoes whispering at once...
"Without your emotions, your power of Sin, you won't survive in the void."
She paused as the stardust trickled away from her shoulders and chest, her crimson eyes gleaming with cold malice.
"And even if you cross that hurdle by some stupid luck, the Blessed One will find you and kill an anomaly like you for sure. I will continue to see from my slumber just how long that damned parasite can continue to protect you, Tyler Cross."
