To the new Demon King Talons, pledge allegiance unto death.

And at this moment, inside the castle’s assembly hall.

An emergency meeting is underway.

At one end of the long table, Talons’ face was somber.

His eyes glowed blood-red, emanating a frightful demonic aura.

"Is the news reliable? Has that damn human really obtained the ’Soul Devourer’?"

He stared intensely at his scout, his tone chilling.

"Reporting to His Majesty the Demon King, the news is absolutely true!"

The scout trembled, not daring to cover anything up.

"It’s said even the Archangel from the Celestial Realm was defeated by him."

The words stirred a commotion in the room.

Countless incredulous gazes instantly turned toward Talons.

"How is that possible..."

Someone murmured to themselves, eyes filled with shock.

"How could a mere human compete with the Archangel?"

"Could it be he’s already cultivated to the realm of a god?"

Another person speculated, their tone fearful.

"Otherwise, how could he single-handedly overcome the entire Celestial Realm?"

Various opinions were voiced, discussions were unending.

The elite demon members present all showed a change in expression.

A surge of unease and panic spread throughout the hall.

"Quiet!"

Talons shouted sharply, demonic aura surged around him.

Instantly, silence fell within the hall.

No one dared to utter another word.

"This person, his origin is unknown, he’s no ordinary individual."

The Demon King furrowed his brow, his gaze heavy.

He looked out the window, his sight fierce as a torch.

"But regardless of who he is, the ’Soul Devourer’ must not fall into his hands!"

"That is a divine artifact capable of annihilation, he must not lay a finger on it!"

The words sounded like explosive thunder.

Everyone drew in sharp breaths, their faces serious.

"So... what should we do?"

A high-tier demon tentatively asked.

"Are we to engage in direct confrontation with that human?"

"Indeed. From today, we fully enter a state of preparedness for battle!"

Talons’ gaze turned sharp, murderous intent rose.

"I will exhaust all the demon race’s power to reclaim the ’Soul Devourer’! At all costs!"

The words fell, within the Demon King’s eyes burned fierce battle intent. His massive frame was like an Asura emerging from purgatory. His entire body engulfed in black demonic flames, causing all the demons present to shiver involuntarily.

"As you command, His Majesty the Demon King!" The demons all bowed in unison, their voices resounding like a thunderous roar. Their eyes glinted with frenzy and bloodlust, fervently eager.

"Very well, prepare yourselves!" Talons nodded in satisfaction, his tone chilling. "I want that human to know the consequences of provoking the demon race!"

Meanwhile, outside the Demon Realm, in a mysterious forest. Zhang Beixing and his companions were swiftly advancing, heading towards unknown directions.

"Master, where are we headed?" Alina lightly followed beside Zhang Beixing, full of doubt. Being a vampire, she wasn’t familiar with this continent.

"Go find someone," Zhang Beixing said with a calm expression and a serene tone. "He is crucial to our upcoming plans."

"Could it be that gentleman?" Richard suddenly realized, a hint of awe glinting in his eyes. "The legendary ’Wise Elder’, Gallor?"

"Exactly." Zhang Beixing nodded, his lips slightly curved. "With his knowledge and experience, he must know how to wield the ’Soul Devourer’."

"Moreover, he holds many ancient secret techniques and knowledge," "which will greatly benefit us in resisting the Celestial Realm and the Demon Race."

The group traversed through the dense forest, gradually arriving at a secluded valley. Deep in the valley, there stood an inconspicuous wooden house. Surrounding the house were various exotic plants and flowers, exuding a mysterious aura.

"This is it," Zhang Beixing halted, staring at the wooden house before him. He took a deep breath and slowly walked forward.

"Elder Gallor, I am Zhang Beixing, here to visit!" he called out in a loud voice toward the tightly shut wooden door, his tone respectful yet composed.

As soon as he finished speaking, the wooden door creaked open. An elder with white hair and a beard slowly stepped out, dressed in a grey robe, his gaze profound and wise.

"Zhang Beixing?" The elder scrutinized the young man in the black robe before him, a hint of surprise flashing in his eyes. "I never expected you would come to find me."

"No need for formalities, elder." Zhang Beixing clasped his hands in salute, showing a humble demeanor. "I am here regarding the ’Soul Devourer’."

"Oh?" Gallor raised an eyebrow, his eyes gleaming with sharpness. "You’ve obtained that blade already?"

"Indeed, just yesterday, I retrieved it from the ’Forbidden Land’," Zhang Beixing nodded, his tone indifferent, as if it were the most normal thing.

"But I find that I cannot fully control its power yet," "so I need your guidance, elder."

Gallor was silent for a moment, taking a deep look at Zhang Beixing. It seemed he saw some special quality in this young man.

"Come in, and we’ll discuss in detail." The elder turned and walked into the wooden house with large strides. Zhang Beixing understood and signaled Alina and Richard to wait outside. Then, he followed Gallor inside.

The interior of the wooden house was simple and ancient. The walls around were filled with all kinds of scrolls and ancient texts, emitting a sense of the passage of time.

Gallor sat down in front of the table and pointed to the chair opposite. "Sit down, young man."

Zhang Beixing sat as instructed, showing respect. He knew that this elder was not an ordinary person, and to command his respect meant that his cultivation and knowledge must be extraordinary.

"I can tell that kingly blood flows through your veins," Gallor said directly, without preamble. "Moreover, a powerful force is hidden within you."

"This power can even rival the ’Soul Devourer’," "No wonder you can wield it."

Zhang Beixing’s heart trembled, yet his face remained impassive. He hadn’t expected the other to see through his origins at a glance.

"Elder, you are indeed formidable," he sincerely praised, not stingy with his admiration. "Please keep my origins a secret, elder."

"Don’t worry, I have no interest in revealing this," Gallor waved his hand, his tone indifferent. "I’m more intrigued by what you intend to do with the ’Soul Devourer’."

Zhang Beixing pondered for a moment before speaking slowly. "I want to use it to unify the Three Realms."

"Oh? What makes you think you can?" Gallor became interested, a trace of inquiry in his eyes.

"The current world has become utterly corrupt," Zhang Beixing said with resolute eyes and a firm tone. "Humans, the Celestial Realm, and the Demon Race are forces constantly undermining each other."

"The surface peace is just the calm before the storm," "Once someone ignites a conflict, it will be a catastrophe with rivers of blood."

"So, I want to be the one who ends it all," Zhang Beixing’s gaze was blazing, filled with an unbreakable will. "I want to use the power of the ’Soul Devourer’ to make the Three Realms submit to me."

"Ha ha ha! Interesting!" Gallor laughed heartily, eyes full of admiration. "Young man, I like your ambition and courage!"

"But merely a blade is insufficient to shake the foundations of the Three Realms," the elder’s laughter subsided, speaking earnestly. "You need more support, more strategies."

"Elder, please teach me," Zhang Beixing said respectfully, his expression sincere. "With your wisdom, surely you can guide me through the maze."

"Alright, I will teach you three sets of ancient secret techniques," Gallor nodded, his gaze profound. "The first is the ’Eight Steps of Celestial Dragon’, allowing your speed and reaction to reach a state of perfect harmony."

"The second is the ’Asura Battle Body’, which, after cultivation, makes you impervious to weapons and immune to poison."

"The third is the ’Heaven-Swallowing Demon Technique’, a Demon Race forbidden technique that, when perfected, can devour sun, moon, and stars, burning everything to ashes."

"Thank you, elder!" Zhang Beixing rejoiced beyond measure, repeatedly expressing his gratitude. With these three secret techniques, he was a step closer to his goal.

"Remember, when cultivating, do not rush," Gallor advised earnestly. "Haste makes waste, the key is gradual progress."

"I will remember, master," Zhang Beixing responded respectfully, his eyes full of gratitude.

In the following days, Zhang Beixing focused on cultivation under Gallor’s guidance. Starting with the basics of the ’Eight Steps of Celestial Dragon’, he advanced steadily, step by step.

Alina and Richard tended to his daily needs from the side. Zhang Beixing was sometimes seen meditating silently, other times forming mysterious hand seals, as a strange fluctuation surged around him, growing ever stronger.

Gradually, his speed and power increased significantly. The ’Eight Steps of Celestial Dragon’ became more skillful, his movements like lightning, achieving the mystical state of unity with heaven.

Watching from the side, Gallor nodded frequently. "This boy’s talent is truly extraordinary," he marveled silently, viewing this disciple with renewed awe.

After several days, Zhang Beixing finally achieved the ’Asura Battle Body’. His muscles bulged, as if a celestial god descending. His skin was as tough as iron, impervious to a thousand arrows without a scratch.
