Evolution Online: My 10,000× Reward System Multiplies Everything

Chapter 161: Supreme Heaven-Splitting Twin Blades

Kaelen’s eyes fluttered open at the first light of morning, and he jumped out of his bed to stretch, feeling invigorated after replacing his sleep schedule with cultivation.

Just that night alone, he’d made a little over one hundred and five billion Evolution Points, adding to the seventy-five trillion he made in the past few days, but that still wasn’t enough to bring his total accumulated balance to 13 quadrillion Evolution Points.

Though that day was the day he’d be summoned to the Tower of Babel alongside other candidates, he didn’t plan on taking a day off from his daily routine but would simply make time for other preparations and would also check in on Kenora before noon.

So without wasting any time, he went down with his 10,000 push-ups and sit-ups, keeping it at that exact number due to time, before stepping outside the manor to do 100 laps around the estate.

On his way back in, he ran into Knight Kendrick, who greeted him and handed him a long metal box, which was the gift he’d promised the previous day.

He didn’t have time to check it out at that moment and simply thanked the knight before returning to his room, not before stopping by the kitchen for his daily order of a meat buffet. Afterward, he stepped into the bathroom to wash up, possibly for the last time if his assigned lobby had neither a bathroom nor a stream or even a river.

It was only then that he returned to the metal box he had set aside on his bed to unbox. And as soon as he did, he paused to stare at the items inside.

Kendrick’s gift was a pair of swords unlike any Kaelen had ever seen.

Their blades were slightly shorter than ordinary longswords, broad enough to carry weight behind every swing yet thin enough to move with frightening speed. The edges remained razor-sharp from base to tip, but instead of ending in the conventional point of a thrusting sword, each blade curved into a slanted, diagonal tip, giving the weapons an almost predatory appearance. They looked less like swords meant to pierce and more like blades designed to carve through flesh with a single sweeping motion.

The dark steel caught the light along its polished edges as Kaelen picked it up and flicked it to his side, cutting the wind with surgical precision that brought a smile to his face.

It was the real deal.

[10,000× Reward Multiplier Triggered...]

[Mythic Grimfang Swords have been upgraded to Supreme Heaven-Splitting Twin Blades]

Kaelen’s eyes widened in surprise.

Of course, Kendrick’s gift qualified as a reward for Kaelen, causing the Reward System to activate and upgrade the Mythic weapons. However, instead of stopping at Divine or Primordial, the System pushed them all the way to Supreme.

Supreme, the rank below only Transcendent, making it his second Supreme-tier item after the Heavenly Myriad Scripture.

The swords didn’t change in appearance, and Kaelen couldn’t tell much of a difference between now and before, but he could tell something significant had changed, and so he quickly pulled up its description.

—

[Heaven-Splitting Twin Blades (Supreme): Two blades forged to sever everything beneath the stars. Their slanted edges possess an unnatural sharpness capable of severing almost anything, while their bodies possess an indestructible regenerative property that allows them to return to perfect condition no matter how thoroughly they are damaged—even if reduced to fragments.]

—

Kaelen’s eyes spread further. The Supreme blades just solved a problem he faced with the Primordial-tier swords during the Colossal Titan battle. Not only were the blades designed to cut anything, but no matter how hard the surface target was, he didn’t have to worry about chipping or cracking the swords as their durability regenerated with zero cost.

This was exactly what he needed for the grand tournament. Using one would be deadly, but using the two at once would make him nearly unstoppable for as long as he never stopped swinging.

Instead of throwing them in his inventory, he didn’t hesitate to strap them both onto both sides of his waist.

Next on his list of things to do was to check up on Kenora, so he immediately transported himself inside his castle, where Lysandra was standing around like she was waiting for someone.

"Master Kaelen, you’re finally here." She called out with a faint smile.

"Pretty much, yeah. But I won’t be staying for long." He said as he stepped inside with Lysandra in tow.

"I know that. That’s why I was waiting to see when you came in."

He was surprised. "How’d you know I was coming today?"

"Kenora said so. She also said you’d be going for a death match and I won’t see you again. I have to come with you, Master Kaelen."

Kaelen’s lips twitched. ℯ

Why was the Drakaris bullying everyone?

But for her to have said that, it meant she’d been around for a while, and he knew just where to find her.

"I can’t decide that, Lysandra. But before I leave, I’ll ask someone if you can come along with me."

She didn’t look satisfied with the answer but still nodded anyway.

As soon as he stepped inside Kenora’s room, he began speaking. "Were you able to get everything I wanted?"

"G-Geez. You should really knock when entering a lady’s room. I was naked a few minutes ago." Kenora blurted as she crossed her arms over her chest.

Kaelen’s face darkened. "And why would you be naked?"

"I don’t know how you clean yourself, but from where I come from, we take off our clothes before getting into the water."

"I don’t remember asking that. Do you have what I asked for?"

"I did, but it wasn’t nearly enough to buy everything in the market." She said with a shrug.

Kaelen stared at her blankly. "Was it because you used up the Evolution Points in paying off your debts? And why didn’t you ask for more like we planned?"

"W-What? My debts only cost a few million here and there. And I forgot the item transfer only worked in close range, so I couldn’t even send a strand of hair. Trust me, I would’ve asked for a lot more if I could." She said innocently, but was slowly boiling in anger.

How did her debts evolve from ’a few hundred thousand’ to ’a few million here and there’?

[You have received a transfer request for (5816) items from Kenora Darkblood]

He immediately accepted the transfer request, and as the items poured into his inventory, every single one of their uses flooded his mind like a master alchemist. They weren’t much, but they could craft quite a few useful pills and potions.

"Do you need me to craft a few potions for you before your departure? It’ll take a while, but since I’m getting paid today, I don’t mind."

Kaelen chose to ignore her words to avoid throwing her out of the window in rage. And without hesitation, he transferred every last one of the ingredients into the Heavenly Gourmet Cauldron, which immediately blared to life and began crafting the items of his choice at lightning speed.
