Chapter 141: Kaelen Cross has become the first player to solo clear a Tutorial World!

"The battle is already over."

"W-What... I don’t think I quite understand what you’re trying to say, milord," SKD said with a serious expression.

Kaelen exhaled softly. "I found the heart."

SKD’s eyes widened in surprise. "You found the Titan’s heart? But how?"

"When I tried to jump down its throat and Lysandra didn’t let me, I created and left behind a split slime which multiplied and spread across the Titan’s body like a virus, using [Sharp Senses] simultaneously across them to search for the heart’s position, and I can confidently say now that the Titan’s heart is currently hiding in his left heel," Kaelen replied calmly, but he didn’t look happy or excited. He’d just awakened his full memories a minute ago and learned quite a few things that made him rather impatient to interrogate his mother.

As for Felix’s Titan, he felt embarrassed overthinking the entire ordeal. The Colossal Titan might be impenetrable from the outside, but he’d just confirmed from his slime duplicates that the inside wasn’t as tough.

"That’s great news, milord. Now we can save Lysandra and have her use that skill from earlier to destroy his heel before he realizes we’ve figured him out."

Kaelen didn’t reply immediately. "SKD, do you realize Lysandra is a Transcendant Dragon?"

"Y-Yes, of course."

"And between the Primordial Titan and a Transcendant Dragon, who do you think has the higher odds of winning?"

"Obviously the Transcendant Dragon," SKD replied immediately.

"Then why do you think Lysandra is having trouble with Felix? Why do we need to run for her to transform?" Kaelen asked calmly once more. He wasn’t asking out of curiosity. He already had the answers but wanted to let SKD see the vision.

The supreme elder dragon found it difficult and couldn’t answer the question. He was both confused and curious himself.

"You see, Lysandra isn’t like the rest of you. She grew in isolation and probably doesn’t know how to control her abilities. When she transforms into a Transcendant Dragon, she might lose control and end up doing more damage than intended. Tell me, SKD, what are the chances of a Transcendant Dragon destroying a world single-handedly with its flames alone?"

"I’d say very high, milord. If you’re right, then transformation alone could truly tip this world off balance and would destroy everything on its surface. I highly don’t recommend it, milord. Unless..." SKD’s eyes slowly widened as he finally understood what was going through Kaelen’s head.

"Master Kaelen—" Lysandra’s scream was cut off as the Colossal Titan’s teeth snapped shut over Lysandra, who was running down its throat.

"You... plan to use her to destroy this world?" SKD asked in confusion.

"Don’t be silly... not this world. Even if I killed Felix, the EP wouldn’t be enough to make up what I’d spend. I’d be stuck farming for days just to recover the losses."

Kaelen’s lips curled upward.

"So I’ve decided to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time."

"Is this about Evolution Online?" SKD asked.

Kaelen didn’t reply, but his silence was all the supreme elder dragon needed.

"Use this opportunity to kill as many beasts as you can, then return when you’re done," Kaelen said to him as he crouched to place his hand on Felix’s shoulder.

"What about you, milord?"

"...I’m about to shake the world." Just as those words left Kaelen’s lips, Felix’s hand loomed above them as it descended to squash them right there on his shoulder.

Instead of running, Kaelen simply did the exact same thing Susan had done with them, and they both disappeared from the spot, leaving SKD and the rest of the people stranded in battle.

"What the hell just happened now?" Naomi asked in confusion.

"Did he just sacrifice that woman and disappear with the Colossal Titan?"

"Don’t let your guard down now. His domain is unable to hold the Colossal Titan, and it’s only a matter of time before they reappear—" Aria was saying when she was interrupted by one of the Capital’s soldiers.

"Empress, we just received word from Guild Leader Cindra."

Black Rose frowned slightly. Cindra knew she was currently in a battle, yet she chose to contact her at a time like this.

It could only mean the situation was severe.

"Wait..." Her eyes suddenly widened in shock and disbelief. "Don’t tell me Kaelen and the Colossal Titan are in the capital," she blurted, drawing the attention of everyone as their gazes locked onto the messenger.

"Not quite, Empress."

"Then what is it?"

The man hesitated for a moment. "The Colossal Titan has been spotted just outside the Gladies City walls in Evolution Online, and several nations have reported being surrounded by a white mist. They fear it might be Kaelen Cross’s doing, as the white mist has mysteriously engaged everyone in battle and prevents anyone from logging out now."

"What? It can’t possibly be him. They were just here a few minutes ago, and it’s practically impossible to force Felix inside the game with him..." Black Rose trailed off when she saw the supreme elder dragon looking down on them with a lack of interest as his shadow army, whose tactics had been to hold the line, began killing everything that came in the path of their swords.

’Kaelen, what are you planning?’ she mused to herself.

"I guess the battle is really over," Yelena said from behind, before turning her back on everything and walking away.

"Wait... what do you mean by that?" Black Rose asked in confusion. "We had a better chance of taking down Felix together. Why would he move the battle to Evolution Online?"

Yelena paused in her step without looking behind. "Isn’t it obvious? He plans to kill two birds with one stone."

"What’s that supposed to mean?" Naomi asked from her place.

"In case you didn’t notice, the woman he was with isn’t human. She’s a dragon. Not just any kind, but a Transcendant Dragon. From the looks of it, the woman was scared to transform into a dragon in Kaelen’s presence, probably because she was scared to hurt him in the process, which is exactly why Kaelen let Felix eat her. So when she transforms and loses control inside Felix with enough damage to pulverize his heart, Kaelen would use his mist as a fuel to destroy everything on the surface of Evolution Online’s base world. That’s enough evolution points to ensure Felix never becomes a threat to Lady Jessica ever again. Pretty smart if you ask me."

"What? What nonsense are you spouting?" Black Rose immediately refuted. "Evolution Online’s base world is easily as large as this planet. It’ll take more toxic gas and a Transcendant flame to truly destroy everything."
