Chapter 710: Tearing the Sky

"You’ve already suffered much over the years."

"All I hope is that you bring a few humans and escape the Cosmic Universe. From then on, you can be free."

The Human Ruler’s tone was plain, but his words were anything but.

Clearly, he was already prepared for their plan to fail and for him to perish.

Despite this, he showed no emotion, as though he had already accepted such a fate.

On the side, Anna took a deeper look at the Human Ruler.

After several seconds, she nodded subtly. A rare trace of emotion flashed through her eyes.

She had accompanied the human race since its creation. It could be said that she had watched humanity and the Human Ruler grow up and reach their current heights with her own two eyes.

Yet now, she was also witnessing them gamble everything.

If their plan failed, humanity would face the threat of extinction.

Many words came to Anna’s mind.

Unfortunately, despite being an intelligent lifeform, she was not a real creature like humans. She could not find the right words to comfort the Human Ruler.

In the end, she could only make a solemn promise.

"Don’t worry. I’ll make sure to leave a chance for humanity to be reborn. Humanity will not perish in our hands."

The Human Ruler smiled faintly.

Then, he took one last look at her and walked toward the sphere.

His momentum soared into the sky, growing stronger with every step.

By the time he stopped in front of the sphere, his aura had reached Rank 13.

An inaudible whisper came out of his mouth. His figure dispersed into countless lights and began to overlap with the sphere.

Its revolving momentum suddenly halted.

The uneven patterns on its surface slowly came together. In the blink of an eye, they twisted together into lines.

Watching the transformation from afar, Anna could see everything clearly.

The sphere, larger than entire planets, had transformed into a head.

Its facial features twisted into those of the Human Ruler before it shot into the sky.

Within moments, the head had appeared above the Information Company’s headquarters.

Then...

"Assemble!"

A deafening shout spread throughout the Human Federation.

Instantly, the entire Cosmic Universe started to tremble.

The changes were difficult to conceal.

The other three Apex Civilizations immediately sensed that something was wrong.

Their respective leaders, the Zerg Hive, Mechanical Emperor, and Demon Sovereign, all turned to look toward the Human Federation.

What they saw left them stunned.

A giant body seemingly larger than the Cosmic Universe itself.

At first, it was only a head. But soon, body parts gathered from all over the Human Federation and fired toward it.

Hands, torso, legs.

Clicking sounds echoed as each body part assembled, neatly falling into place. It was as though that was how it should have always been.

Within seconds, the body had been completely constructed.

Its aura... was terrifying.

Whether it was the Zerg Hive, the Mechanical Emperor, or even the Demon Sovereign, they felt a sense of horror upon looking at it.

Worst of all, the giant seemed to have sensed their gazes.

Its head turned abruptly, its gaze piercing through time and space to land on them.

The three rulers were terrified.

They sensed a power surpassing Rank 13 emanating from the giant. A power strong enough to wipe them out!

As long as the giant wanted, it would be able to kill them with just a thought. It wouldn’t require much effort.

Fortunately, the giant did not seem to pay attention to them.

After only a single brief glance, it raised its head toward the sky.

A silver blade materialized in its hand as it grasped it tightly.

The Human Ruler’s face grew solemn as he faced the sky. Countless emotions alternated on his face.

In the end, they settled on one: unwavering determination.

Without any further hesitation, the Human Ruler raised the blade and slashed at the space above his head.

Every part of his power was poured into this strike.

The strength he had cultivated over billions of years. The power of this mechanical body, created through the efforts of the entire Human Federation. The resolve of Humanity.

All his powers flowed into the blade, giving birth to a terrifying force.

A tearing sound echoed in the ears of every creature inside the Cosmic Universe.

They couldn’t understand what was going on at first.

But soon, an image flashed through their minds.

A giant being faced the sky and slashed at it.

The stronger one was, the more clearly they sensed the horror of that strike.

The most powerful among them knew that this was not the giant slashing through space, but tearing through the fabric of the Cosmic Universe.

Before they could process what was going on, the image in their minds changed.

The giant’s body began to shatter.

Then, it exploded into countless tiny fragments that scattered in every direction, spreading through the universe.

The gap it had sacrificed its life to open was rapidly healing.

Within moments, it was nowhere to be seen.

"This is the price one pays when going against the universe..." the Zerg Hive couldn’t help but whisper.

After a brief pause, a smug smile appeared on her face.

She had to admit that the giant was terrifyingly strong. Enough to make her fearful.

But now, it was dead! While she was alive!

Moreover, she would soon be able to obtain its inheritance, perhaps taking a step further!

Countless messages were passed down by the Zerg Hive through her connection with the other Zerg. She ordered them to search for the giant’s remaining parts, doing anything in their power to obtain them!

After doing this, the Zerg Hive raised her head.

The tear running across the Cosmic Universe had long since healed.

But the Zerg Hive did not know whether it was an illusion, but she had felt she had seen a light pass through it in the short time it had existed.

But soon, she shook her head. A smile appeared on her face.

"Who would possibly willingly enter the core of the universe? Unless it’s a creature like the giant, there is no way they would survive."

"Any weaker, and they would be sending themselves to death..." She chuckled, feeling that she must have been too shocked by the giant’s appearance and was thus seeing things.

Meanwhile, while the Zerg Hive was doubting her own senses, Liora found herself in a vast void.

Countless amounts of World Origin surrounded her, as well as two familiar, distinct powers.
