Liora hadn’t expected several clones to appear within the extraterrestrial battlefield just shortly after she had collected the ancient city.

She could sense that they were all powerful. Although their fundamental strength seemed low, Liora was able to see through their real state.

She realized that they were all clones of higher-level beings.

Under normal circumstances, she would have immediately taken action to suppress them.

However, there was actually no need to do so at the moment.

The instant the ancient city disappeared, the entire extraterrestrial battlefield began to break apart.

The fabric of space was torn as giant rifts and space blades formed, firing in every direction like the waves of a tsunami.

Liora was not surprised by this phenomenon.

The ancient city served as the cornerstone of the extraterrestrial battlefield.

Although it attracted all of its energy and used it for its own nourishment, it also worked to sustain the battlefield itself.

With it no longer there to support it, the space itself began to collapse.

Unless someone took action to save it, the extraterrestrial battlefield would be destroyed!

Despite the large amounts of chaos and damage, Liora suffered no harm.

The spatial rifts and blades shot toward her but passed right by her body, as though they were ignoring her existence.

Her opponents, however, did not fare as well.

Several tearing sounds rang out.

The bodies of the clones were torn apart by the chaotic energies before several space "blades" struck them, sending parts of their bodies into the deepest layers of space.

These beings had no time to react, let alone raise any defenses.

They could only watch powerlessly as their bodies were engulfed by the aftermath of the battlefield’s destruction.

In their final moments, the only thing they could do was send a message back to their true bodies, informing them of what they had just witnessed. They knew they had to send out the news!

Liora sensed their actions but could do nothing to stop them.

After confirming that the clones had been completely destroyed and there would be no chance for recovery, she took one final look at the extraterrestrial battlefield.

Her gaze seemed to pierce through space and time before she casually waved her hand.

Countless golden lights flashed throughout the battlefield. As if responding to her call, they fired toward her before settling into her palm.

Seeing the round tokens, Liora nodded in satisfaction.

Then, she didn’t linger any longer.

With a step forward, she entered one of the countless space rifts surrounding her.

Urging the Space Law Star within the Cosmic Sea, she controlled the tear and turned it into a passage, allowing her to instantly leave the battlefield and determine her landing position.

--

What happened in the extraterrestrial battlefield remained a secret.

Aside from the leaders of the Apex Civilizations, no one knew what had happened, including Rank 11 and Rank 12 beings, much less "ordinary" Emperors. The destruction of the extraterrestrial battlefield would only be discovered way later.

However, what had happened before that was impossible to hide.

Hundreds of Emperors had perished—at the hands of an unknown being, no less.

The news spread, reaching every single part of the Cosmic Universe.

The death of so many powerhouses was enough to cause great chaos.

After all, each Emperor held an important position in their respective civilization and was in control of at least a major organization or force.

For example, the War God had the entire War Academy relying on him.

If something were to happen to him, one of the Human Federation’s super Academies would be left in ruins. The power vacuum would cause an intense amount of harm.

The other organizations were similar.

The moment Liora stepped into the Human Federation, she immediately sensed the impact.

Entire galaxies were in chaos.

Powerful Awakeners rushed through space in rapid spaceships, seemingly trying to deal with the aftermath.

Unfortunately, unless another Emperor was born within these organizations or someone stepped forward to support them, the structure of these territories was bound to change.

Liora briefly observed these galaxies.

She watched the high-level members of the dead Emperors’ organizations scramble to find a solution, as well as the ordinary people who remained oblivious to the fact that the sky above them had collapsed.

It would only be in a few days that they would personally experience the impact.

After spending a few hours there, Liora didn’t stay any longer.

She increased her speed, moving toward the depths of the Human Federation.

She wasn’t planning to return to the War Academy, nor did she plan to meet up with the Emperors she had encountered in the extraterrestrial battlefield. She had a different goal in mind.

Before long, she reached her destination.

A small, relatively remote planet.

The strongest person there was only at Rank 6—the Lord of the Planet.

Besides him, there were only a few Rank 5 Awakeners scattered across the planet.

Such strength was weak. It was no wonder that this place was so remote.

Yet this sight was more than enough to make Liora raise her eyebrows.

This was not how she remembered this place.

Back then, the Lord of the Planet had paid a heavy price just to find a Domain Seed to gift her, hoping she would showcase her potential and thus help the planet develop.

"It seems that this place has benefited greatly from the improvement in my status and strength. Not much time has passed, yet so many powerful Awakeners have emerged."

Liora sighed.

This wasn’t her doing. Over time, she had long forgotten about this planet, which could be considered her hometown in this world.

The people who had helped the planet develop were others.

Elena—the teacher who had followed her to the War Academy. Alpha—who would pay attention to the planet from time to time. And finally, humanity’s Venerables and Emperors.

Yes.

With a single glance, Liora found the traces left behind by many powerhouses on this otherwise desolate planet.

Although they didn’t personally appear, it was obvious that they had played a major role in Nova Terra’s rapid development.

"It’s no wonder the Lord of the Planet managed to reach Rank 6 so quickly. With so many resources, even that is somewhat inadequate..."
