Chapter 112: An Unexpected Encounter
"I know." The elder interrupted him, but his voice softened slightly.
"There is nothing wrong with ambition. Your talent is good, your comprehension is good, and your control over your Strange Flame is also excellent. Among your generation, you have enough ability to stand at the very front."
Han Tianyu’s expression relaxed slightly.
He had heard those words countless times from others, but coming from his uncle, they still carried weight.
"But..." The elder’s expression became serious.
"Your biggest problem is that you think too highly of yourself."
He knew that Han Tianyu was always been like this, too narrow-minded.
If he lose, he will become angry. If someone surpasses him, he become frustrated. And whenever something doesn’t go according to his expectations, he has difficulty letting it go.
Although Han Tianyu knew his short comings, but knowing and shorting them was different matters. He lowered his gaze in shame.
The elder leaned back slightly.
"You have spent too long hearing that you’re talented and that your future is bright. Today, someone simply showed you that there are people outside your expectations."
Han Tianyu remained silent. After a moment, he finally looked up.
"But who exactly is Long Feng to show me this?"
"So that’s what you’re really concerned about." The elder’s eyes narrowed slightly.
Han Tianyu nodded. His expression became serious.
The elder leaned back and studied him for a moment before slowly speaking.
"His name is Long Feng. According to the information we’ve gathered, he joined the Azura Heaven Sect approximately nine years ago."
He tapped his finger lightly against the table.
"For most of those years, there was nothing particularly special about him. He wasn’t one of the famous disciples of the Azura Heaven Sect, and he didn’t have any particularly impressive achievements. His cultivation also remained at the same realm for a surprisingly long period."
This made Han Tianyu frowned. "Then how did he suddenly become this strong?"
"We don’t know."
The elder shook his head.
"That’s precisely what we’re trying to figure out."
He paused before continuing. "From the information we’ve gathered, Long Feng seemed almost ordinary for most of his time in the sect. But recently, his growth has been far too rapid."
"First, he appeared during the Inner Disciple Ranking Competition. Then his strength began increasing at an astonishing rate. Now he possesses a Strange Flame, extremely powerful soul power, remarkable physical strength, and several high-grade techniques."
Han Tianyu’s expression became increasingly serious.
"Could he have been hiding his strength all along?"
"That’s one possibility."
The elder nodded.
"We initially thought so as well. Someone remaining ordinary for years before suddenly revealing such strength naturally makes people suspicious."
Han Tianyu’s eyes flashed.
"So Azura Heaven Sect’s people knew about him?"
"They seems to surprised too."
The elder shook his head.
"That’s what makes this matter difficult. If Long Feng had been secretly cultivated by one of their peak elders, there should have been some signs. But so far, we haven’t found anything conclusive."
Han Tianyu’s fingers tapped lightly against the table.
"What about his background? How did he obtain that Strange Flame?"
"That is another question. You are not the only one wondering about that."
The elder gave a faint smile.
"How did an orphan like him come to possess such treasure, who is behind it?"
The room became silent again.
Han Tianyu lowered his head as the image of the dark purple flame appeared in his mind.
Actually, even with his knowledge, he couldn’t guess anything about it, except it was a type of beast flame. But what bothered him even more was Long Feng’s control.
"He didn’t use any obvious flame-control technique," Han Tianyu slowly said. "Yet his control was almost instantaneous. Every time I changed the shape of my flame, he seemed to understand it almost immediately."
The elder’s eyes became thoughtful.
"I noticed that too. His soul power is unusually strong, but don’t let this matter consume you."
Han Tianyu looked at him.
"You lost today. Now accept it and learn from it."
The elder walked toward the door. His hand had just touched the handle when he stopped and glanced back.
"Rest tonight. Tomorrow, forget about today’s result and return to the sect with everyone else."
He stepped outside. The door slowly closed behind him.
Han Tianyu remained sitting alone in the room. For a long time, he stared at the closed door.
He leaned back in his chair, his thoughts becoming increasingly complicated. Then, after a moment, his brows suddenly furrowed.
"Where did Shen Yao go?"
She had left before his uncle entered the room.
But enough time had already passed, and she still hadn’t returned.
Han Tianyu stood up and walked toward the window. He looked out into the quiet courtyard.
The night had grown deeper, and the entire temporary residence had become unusually silent.
There was no sign of Shen Yao anywhere.
Han Tianyu frowned. "She should have returned by now."
For some reason, the frustration he had felt after losing to Long Feng was suddenly mixed with another thought.
The temporary residence of the Vermilion Flame Sect was unusually quiet at this hour, only a few figures could occasionally be seen moving through the courtyards.
Some distance away, into a darker section between two buildings, two figure were leaning close to each other.
One of them was none other than Shen Yao, whose chest was pinned against the cold stone wall. Her hands were twisted behind her back by someone.
"You shouldn’t be here."
"Why?" He leaned slightly closer, deliberately lowering his voice. Judging by his voice, he was a young man.
"You really don’t understand the situation. If someone sees you here at this time, they’ll become suspicious."
Shen Yao’s expression became complicated. She couldn’t help but look around them, checking if someone else wasn’t there.
"Then you should control yourself... because I don’t have any intention of stopping."
Long Feng smirked mischievously. His hand moved to her slender neck and grabbed roughly.
He pulled her closer, his eyes fixed on hers.
"W-what are you doing? Pervert!"
Her heart skipped slightly as she realized his intentions. But despite her words, she didn’t struggle too hard.
For some reason, hearing him say that made her hesitate.
Their faces were now mere inches apart. Long Feng could feel her warm breath on his face. His thumb gently caressed the soft skin of her neck.
Yes it was none other than Long Feng.
After the battle, he rested for a while. But his injuries weren’t serious, so he came out to get some fresh air. And then he happened to find her.
Although he didn’t suppose to meet her in the middle of the night, but it isn’t exactly a bad coincidence.
And how could it be that he did not take full advantage of this opportunity?
"You ask too many questions," he murmured, leaned in closer, "Perhaps I should give your mouth something else to do?"
"W-what do yo- mmmph," His lips met hers, silencing her words.
Slurping~~!
Chuu~ slurrrp!!
His tongue entered her mouth and she didn’t resist, instead wrapping her own tongue around him.
His hands roamed down her body, caressing her curves before settling on her juicy hips.
"Auhh!!" She Yao let out a soft moan as his fingers kneaded her soft asscheeks. Her hands began to break free from his grip, but his strength was greater than her.
Gulp~
Their kiss deepened as he poured more saliva into her mouth. And she without any hesitation, gulped them down.
After few minutes of kissing, he finally broke their kiss, letting her take deep breath.
"Haahhha..."
After a moment, she quietly said,"Long Feng..."
"Hmm?"
"You really should let me go."
Long Feng smiled. "You’ve said that several times."
"And you’re still not listening."
"Because you don’t sound very convincing."
Shen Yao’s cheeks warmed slightly. She tried to push against his shoulder, but Long Feng remained where he was.
"Don’t make me force my way past you."
"Would you?"
Long Feng’s eyes contained a teasing glint.
Shen Yao opened her mouth, but no words came out. She knew that she could actually push him away if she truly wanted to.
But for some reason, she couldn’t bring herself to do it.
Long Feng noticed her hesitation. His smile became slightly wider.
"You see? Your body is much more honest than you."
"You’re shameless." Shen Yao’s expression became embarrassed.
"Perhaps." He chuckled.
But Han Tianyu was still waiting for her. If she had been gone for too long, he might notice something off.
This made her even more nervous.
"You should leave before someone sees us."
As if to prove her concern, several disciples could be heard talking in the distance. Their footsteps slowly approached.
Shen Yao’s expression immediately changed.
"Someone’s coming."
She instinctively looked toward the path.
Long Feng also heard the footsteps. He glanced around before looking back at her.
"We can’t stay here."
"Exactly."
Shen Yao lowered her voice.
"If someone sees us like this, there will be rumors everywhere."
Long Feng nodded. "Then let’s go somewhere safer."
Shen Yao looked at him suspiciously.
"Where?"
"My room."
Her eyes widened in shock.
"What? Your room? It’s in the Azura Heaven Sect’s temporary residence. That’s even more dangerous!"
"Not if you’re careful." Long Feng glanced toward the approaching voices.
"They’ll be passing this way soon."
Shen Yao hesitated. She knew he was right, remaining here was far more dangerous. Finally, she sighed.
"Fine. But quickly."
This made Long Feng smiled.
"That’s more reasonable."
He stepped away from the wall and motioned for her to follow.
The two moved through the darker paths between the buildings, avoiding the main courtyards and the areas where disciples were still walking.
Whenever footsteps approached, they would stop and wait until the path became quiet again.
