Kelsey’s body was shaking. Her voice was sharp and kept repeating.
“It’s coming, it’s here again!”
“You can’t run away, no one can escape!”
“It’s coming, it’s here again…”
Eira held Kelsey tightly, her face full of pain. She could only keep comforting her.
“Be good, Kelsey. It won’t come. You’ll be okay.”
“Be good, Kelsey.”
After a while, Kelsey finally calmed down. Her body seemed to have no strength left, like a dead person, lying in Eira’s arms.
Aiden had no idea what was going on. He looked at James and Atlas.
War God James sighed quietly and said.”The princess has a strange illness. When she gets sick, she turns into this state.”
“Who is it?” Aiden asked, finally speaking out his confusion.
James shook his head. “We don’t know. To treat the princess, the emperor even asked the human divine powerhouse. But even they had no idea.”
Aiden’s eyes widened. There were gods in the human world, and even the divine powerhouse couldn’t help?
Atlas, the head of the Reclasser Association, noticed Aiden’s reaction and said.
“When a Reclasser reaches the maximum level, they can keep improving and become a divine powerhouse.”
“That’s why demons haven’t invaded in large numbers. It’s because of the human divine powerhouse’s power.”
“After all, the Abyss isn’t just full of demons. If demons lose strength because of an invasion, the other races there won’t miss such a good chance.”
Aiden nodded. He knew the Abyss was huge. Besides demons, there were ghosts, skeletons, and mysterious witches, among others.
Eira held Kelsey tightly and slowly turned around. Without saying a word, she walked deeper into the palace. Atlas followed behind her.
James stayed where he was. He said slowly.
“Aiden, the princess really likes you. If you can, try to spend more time with her.”
Before Aiden could answer, James continued.
“You must have some confidence to agree to Logan and Victor. Still, you should be careful during the final test. Don’t let anyone trick you.”
“If something unexpected happens, you can still enter the military through a special recruitment channel.”
“I believe in your potential.”
Aiden nodded. He knew James was trying to be kind to him.
But could the College Testing also be a way for someone to trick others?
Aiden frowned slightly.
James warned.”Better to be careful than sorry. Eight Epic Demon’s Hearts are enough for someone to take a risk.”
Seeing what had happened to Kelsey, Aiden had no more time for other thoughts. He went to the hotel that had already been arranged.
That feeling of death and destruction kept appearing in his mind.

With all these questions in his head, Aiden fell asleep.
The next morning, Aiden quickly packed and left the hotel, under the sad eyes of the beautiful staff at the front desk.
As soon as he stepped onto the street, he heard people talking about the early College Testing.
A lot of people were talking loudly: “Aiden is really amazing. He actually dared to make a bet with Victor, who has a Mythic profession.”
“Yeah, that’s a Mythic Reclasser! Aiden definitely has a lot of potential in the military, but the College Testing doesn’t care about military skills at all.”
“A lot of people have checked, and Aiden’s profession is definitely Magic Apprentice. How could a Magic Apprentice even think about competing with a Mythic warrior? That’s just a dream.”
“I watched a video on Douyin today. Someone said that the dark skill Aiden used in The White City is called Demon’s Domain. It’s at least Diamond Rank…”

Then, he finally started analyzing Aiden’s Demon’s Domain. He pointed out that it was at least a Diamond Rank skill.
And in the past ten years, there had been no such skill book in the Great Shaw Empire.
Daniel also made it clear that the chance of a Diamond Rank skill book dropping from a low-level monster near The White City was almost zero.
Aiden watched the whole video. He wasn’t stupid. He could clearly see that this blogger named Daniel was trying to lead the audience to think in a direction that had already been planned.
“Is he trying to make people think that I’m a big threat because I have dark skills?”
This Daniel, Aiden had some memory of. Back in The White City, Daniel had tried to interview him.

As soon as Aiden walked into the Sovereign City’s Reclasser Association, the other Reclassers around recognized him.
In a flash, a crowd surrounded him. The people cheered and shouted for photos.
Luckily, security guards rushed over and pushed the crowd away.
It took Aiden a lot of effort to finally get inside the Reclasser Association.
He hadn’t even had a chance to look around when a man in an imperial uniform, about twenty years old, walked up to him with a fierce expression.
“Aiden! You killed my mother!” the man shouted loudly.
Immediately, everyone in the Reclasser Association hall turned to look.
“My mother was just a normal Reclasser. You were so cruel, you cut off her head!”
“I’ll kill you!” the man said, eyes red, and rushed at Aiden without thinking.
The security guards, who hadn’t even rested yet, ran over again and got in front of Aiden.
Aiden thought of something and said to the young man. “Was your mother the woman who openly disobeyed the military orders?”
“The military orders? She was just protecting her own property. What’s wrong with that!” the young soldier shouted angrily.
At this moment, many people around raised their phones, and a few others hid in the crowd, pulling out professional cameras to keep filming.
Aiden answered calmly.”You’re also an officer. You should know that when the Abyss invades, military orders come first.”
The greatest enemy of humans is the demons in the Abyss. Not just the Great Shaw Empire, other countries are the same.
“I don’t care! You killed my mother. You should die!”
“You don’t deserve to be the empire’s hero. You’re just a murderer, a butcher!”
“Give me back my mother’s life!”
Many of the surrounding Reclassers murmured quietly. “Wow, that’s really sad.”
“If Aiden had just talked to her a little more, her mother would have followed the orders.” one said.
“Right, right. And after all, it was just a potion. How could it be more valuable than a real life?”
Aiden ignored the angry young man and turned his eyes to the crowd around him.
At once, the people who had just spoken quickly looked away, avoiding his gaze.
Aiden’s eyes flashed, and he asked the young man.”Who sent you?”
The young man was surprised. He turned and looked around, then shouted.”Everyone, I’m Lieutenant Edward from the military department. As a soldier, I have always given my all for the empire!”
“But my mother was just killed by Aiden because of a single potion!”
“A single potion!”
Edward kept repeating it, his face full of pain and tears, looking especially pitiful in front of the professional cameras.
“And him! The man who killed my mother didn’t get the punishment he deserved. Instead, he’s trying to shift the blame!” Edward pointed at Aiden.
Aiden remained expressionless, saying nothing.
He wasn’t sure how to answer. He was thinking about something else ,that none of this was a coincidence.
Who arranged all of this?
Owen?
Based on what he did in The White City, he probably wasn’t smart enough.
Logan?
That probably wasn’t him either. He seemed so confident at the banquet. There was no need for him to do this.
As Aiden was thinking, suddenly, loud shouts came from outside the Sovereign City Reclasser Association.
“Help! A Reclasser is going crazy!”
“Someone stop him!”
“Dark skills! This madman has dark skills!”
