Everyone Is A Lord: My Talent Is A Little Too Strong

Chapter 2473 - Capítulo 2473: 1367: Sudden Fierce Battle

Capítulo 2473: Chapter 1367: Sudden Fierce Battle

“What’s going on?”

Noticing the anomaly ahead, Leo Ray and the others in the center and the rear of the team immediately tensed their nerves and tightened their grip on their weapons.

From the tense expressions on everyone’s faces, it was clear they hadn’t fully recovered from the shocking scenes in the Mirage earlier.

With a chill in his heart, Leo Ray steadied his mind and looked toward the front of the team.

In a corner of the mine, there was a group of trembling, unfamiliar figures. Judging by their attire, they looked exactly like the illusions in the Mirage earlier.

“Why are there still illusions? Could we still be in the Mirage?”

Broy’s eyes widened, filled with a mix of confusion and tension.

“No, there’s no energy fluctuation of any Illusion Technique, these are not illusions.”

Little Illusion, following closely beside Leo Ray, denied, “They absolutely didn’t appear here through the Mirage.”

“If it’s not the Mirage, then why are we still able to see these scenes?”

Fanny also wore a cautious look, the tip of her Magic Wand emitting a faint Magic Radiance, clearly ready to attack at any moment.

As Fanny’s voice fell, the confusion on my teammates’ faces deepened, with beads of sweat appearing on their foreheads.

It’s undeniable that, having just experienced that unforgettable Mirage, such an anomaly indeed makes one wary.

While everyone was still trying to figure out what was happening, those figures evidently noticed our presence, raising their heads to reveal pale faces and bloodshot crimson eyes.

From their faces and features, it was easy to see that these were the Dark Elf Miners.

“We are just a pitiable group forsaken by God, why must you hunt us down?!”

The leading Dark Elf Miner shouted angrily, then raised a Warhammer and charged toward us.

Around the leading Dark Elf Miner, other Dark Elves also had ferocious expressions, making the same attacking move, rushing toward us en masse.

In an instant, a corner of the previously calm mine became filled with Killing Aura, becoming turbulent.

Faced with the sudden attack, although our team was filled with questions, they weren’t panicked, and they lowered their bodies in preparation to respond.

Facing the inexplicable Killing Aura coming towards them, especially the Light Half-Elves taking the lead, they were evidently well-trained, forming an impenetrable deadly net with glaring Magic Radiance and sharp blades, meeting the attack head-on.

However, just as Mallen and the other Light Half-Elf physical-type warriors were about to make contact with the attackers, the ferocious Dark Elf Miners suddenly vanished as if they had never appeared.

With the disappearance of the Dark Elf Miners, the whole environment quickly returned to silence, leaving only the teammates still holding their weapons, looking at each other in confusion.

“Why did they suddenly disappear again?”

Broy cautiously controlled two Tier 6 Alchemy Puppets on guard, still not daring to relax.

“We still don’t know, but seeing as they could react to us and even exude Killing Aura, they’re distinctly different from the illusions in the Mirage, which were merely recording-type illusions and couldn’t possibly react to us.”

Ruth, equally cautious, responded while keeping an eye on the surroundings: “I think these Dark Elves must have been entities, just disappearing for some reason.”

“But it’s been over Three Thousand Years since then, why do they still look exactly the same as they did back then?”

Fanny furrowed her brow, full of confusion: “I’ve never come across something so puzzling.”

“It indeed is baffling, but even more intriguing are the words of the leading Dark Elf.”

Crisis picked up the conversation, musing: “They refer to themselves as the forsaken ones by God, what does that mean?”

“I think that’s not hard to explain.”

Leo Ray pondered and replied: “From the scenes in the Mirage earlier, we’ve reached some consensus; one point being that a Divine Level attack occurred here at that time, rendering the Dark Elves defenseless.”

“And it’s likely that these Dark Elves were once under the favor of some Deity, but, at least from the scenes we saw in the Mirage, no other deity came to save the Dark Elves, most of them just prayed in vain.”

Leo Ray concluded: “Thus, the answer is obvious.”

“So, these Dark Elves believe they were abandoned by the Deities? That’s why they call themselves the forsaken ones by God.”

Ruth lightly stroked her fair chin and continued: “Thinking this way makes sense, but then again, why would the Dark Elves’ deities just watch their favored people being attacked? It doesn’t add up, after all, deities are omnipotent beings, and logically they wouldn’t stand by and do nothing.”

“That’s the mystery of the Era of Blankness; perhaps these deities were attacked too, or maybe the deities were the attackers themselves, or maybe by that time, the deities had already stopped favoring this land.”
