As the middle-aged man spoke, his face flushed crimson and his eyes grew so bloodshot they looked like they might start bleeding. It was obvious he was entertaining some wicked ideas.

A moment later, the middle-aged man stormed up to Widow Yu and slapped her hard across the face.

"You bitch! How dare you cheat on me! How dare you cuckold me!"

With that, he slapped her again.

Widow Yu was completely stunned by the blows. When she came to her senses, she cried out, "You have the wrong person! I don’t know you!"

"Hmph, still pretending you don’t know me? You’re coming with me. If you refuse, I’ll drag you to the authorities!" The sleazy middle-aged man grabbed Widow Yu’s wrist and began to drag her away.

Widow Yu struggled with all her might but couldn’t break free. Panicking, she cried out to the bystanders for help. "Please, help me! Save me! I really don’t know him!"

But upon seeing the scene, no one in the surrounding crowd stepped forward to help.
